How many of you have ordered their upgrade to CS4 ?
I'm assuming everyone one here who contributes on a regular basis has done so already ?
For those who have, is the approximate arrival date sometime in November ?, I believe I read this on the group here, or elsewhere. I'm getting the itch to press the order button, because I am looking forward to the ability to edit AVCHD files directly.

I'm in Classic scenario which means that the PO and other relevant documents are stored in ECC. A programmer here helped me to obtain the information that I was looking for by querying the PO header and PO items tables (EKKO, EKPO) for those orders where the requestor and the bought on behalf of persons where different (ERNAM, AFNAM):
SELECT DISTINCT EKKO~EBELN EKKO~ERNAM EKPO~AFNAM
FROM EKKO
INNER JOIN EKPO ON EKKO~EBELN = EKPO~EBELN
WHERE EKKO~BSART = 'EC'
AND EKKO~ERNAM <> EKPO~AFNAM
AND EKKO~AEDAT > '20110101'

I have pre-ordered a few songs over the last few months

I have pre-ordered a few songs over the last few months like most people. I have checked for new downloads within the itunes store but nothing shows up. I've got the emailed links & have clicked on them, when it opens into itunes I am asked more than once to imput my card details as a billing info screen pops up. Now there is enough cash in the account to pay for these songs. I do not understand what is going on & I am getting rather frustrated by this! I've emailed apple but didnt seem to help me much last time! Anyone got any idea what i could do before i end up crying!

Your steps so far are OK but you may want to try:
1 Trash your user library Caches folder (House Icon with short name in Finder window (hard drive window)GOTO:House icon > Library folder > caches folder
2 Trash the com.apple.Safari.plist file in User library > preferences folder > Safari.plist as well as removing the library Safari folder its self.
3 you can selectivly re-install Safari 2.0 from your OS Tiger Install disk 1, (see Knowledge base article 301229 for how to just select the Safari Application) without doing a complete system Archive and Install.
4. Create a new Test user account on the system and test how Safari responds in the Test user, see if its a user related issue and not system issue.
5. Still no Safari response? have to do an Archive and install (not preserving user and network settings)article 107120
PS. Issue may be related to actual internet connection connectivity, power cycle cable modem and router or airport if using one as well as the computer(keep unplugged for 3-5 min) and plug the cable modem in and then the router/airport then power on the computer. Do the Airport Admin utiliy (applications, utilities on HD_1)update.
- do a hard reset of airport knowledge base article 108044(Express base) and 107451 (Extreme base)
- Check with internet provider for connection issues "cannot find server" ect.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

Five tracks are already available, and the Store will immediately charge you $1.29 for each, coming to $6.45.
When the others come available, which will be July 15, you will be charged the remainder. That will be the pre-order album price of $10.99 minus the $6.45 you're paying now, which comes to $4.54.
So the price is $10.99 for the full 14-track album.
(If you live in a place that charges sales tax on online purchases, add it to each number above to get the total.)
