How many items can be registered to itunes at a time?

My current ipod touch was recently stolen and I will be purchasing a new one. I read somewhere or may have heard that you are only allowed to have 4 apple products to an itunes account, is this true? is there any limit?
Right now I have the ipod (that was stolen), an ipod nano, and my iphone on the same itunes account. I will also be purchasing an IPAD when I buy my new touch and wanted to make sure they could all be on the same itunes account.

At any one time, you can authorize five computers and an unlimited number of iPods and similar devices for iTunes Store purchases, and one device for each rental.

  • How many items can I install my itunes account on?

I have itunes on my ipod touch, laptop and desktop that I currently have installed.  I also have an old desktop computer with a hard drive that went bad that I cannot access anymore that has my account of itunes installed on it as well.
How can I get that install of itunes to not be registered with that computer anymore?
How many times can you install itunes with one account?
How can I install and access my itunes music on the iphone 5s that I just purchased?
    Thanks,

    Hey TechyGirl42,
    Thanks for the question.
Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID.

  • How many iPods can be registered to iTunes?

Currently two shuffles and one iPod are registered to iTunes. I'm about to acquire two Nanos.
Somewhere I recall reading that iTunes would allow only so many iPods/Shuffles/Nanos to be registered. Is there a limit to the number of units that can be registered?
If there is a limit how does one deauthorize one of the units? The iPod is NG, so it is the one that will be deauthorize. The two Nanos have not been registed. Can someone please explain the procedures?
      Windows 2000

    No limit.
You do not authorize iPods, only computers.

You could well be out of luck....
MAC APP STORE PRODUCT USAGE RULES
Except as otherwise set forth herein,
If you are an individual acting in your personal capacity, you may download and use an application from the Mac App Store (“Mac App Store Product”) for personal, non-commercial use on any Apple-branded products running Mac OS X (“Mac Computer”) that you own or control.
(ii) If you are a commercial enterprise or educational institution, you may download a Mac App Store Product for use by either (a) a single individual on each of the Mac Computer(s) used by that individual that you own or control, or (b) multiple individuals on a single shared Mac Computer that you own or control. For example, a single employee may use a Mac App Store Product on both the employee’s desktop Mac Computer and laptop Mac Computer, or multiple students may serially use the Mac App Store Product on a single Mac Computer located at a resource centre or library. For the sake of clarity, each Mac Computer used serially by multiple users requires a separate licence.
(iii) Use of Mac App Store Products may require sign-in with the Apple ID used to download the Mac App Store Product from the Mac App Store. Mac App Store Products can be updated through the Mac App Store only."

  • How many computers can share the same iTunes account?

How many computers can share the same iTunes account?

    Hello cincip,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities. The following article provides more information on associating multiple computers with your Apple ID:
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days. You can view which devices or computers are currently associated, remove unused devices or computers, and see how long before they can be associated with a different Apple ID from the Account Information page in iTunes on your computer.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • How many devices can you synch on itunes

how many devices can you use on itunes?

Association of Associated Devices is subject to the following terms:
You may auto-download iTunes Auto-Delivery Content or download previously-purchased iTunes Eligible Content from an Account on up to 10 Associated Devices, provided no more than 5 are iTunes-authorized computers.
(ii) An Associated Device can be associated with only one Account at any given time.
(iii) You may switch an Associated Device to a different Account only once every 90 days.
(iv) You may download previously-purchased free content onto an unlimited number of devices while it is free on the iTunes Service, but on no more than 5 iTunes-authorized computers.

  • How many songs can I put into iTunes?

How many songs can I put into iTunes? I have about 100,00 tracks and I wnat the convenience of having them all in the library but not if it bogs down the software. Is there a limit to how many iTunes can handle?

Not sure if you meant 10,000 or 100,000 but iTunes will cope with either. Obviously as the size of the library increases there will be some impact on performance. A key factor is the number playlists that you create as these often need to be revaluated each time you add, play or remove a track. Excessive playlists with a large library tends to slow things down.

  • How many ipads can sync to one itunes account?

how many ipads can sync to one itunes account?

You can use a single Apple ID with a maximum of ten devices and computers (combined). Only five of them can be computers. So if you're only authorizing iPads and no computers, then you can authorize 10 iPads with one Apple ID.
Here's some verbiage from Apple's Terms and Conditions:
Association of Associated Devices is subject to the following terms:
    (i) You may auto-download iTunes Auto-Delivery Content or download previously-purchased iTunes Eligible Content from an Account on up to 10 Associated Devices, provided no more than 5 are iTunes-authorized computers.

  • How many devices can sync simultaneously through iTunes?

I am looking to see how many devices can sync simultaneously through iTunes. I know that you can only restore one device at a time, but you can sync content to two devices at the same time. Is there a limit to how many devices can sync simultaneously? Thank you for your help!

Thanks. I wasn't aware that you could have multiple iOS devices connected via WiFi at once. That didn't seem to work the last time I knew of anybody trying it, but obviously it was their setup, not a general limitation.
    Regards.

  • How far will the extreme reach and how many users can be on there at the same time?

How far will the airport extreme reach and how many users can be on there at the same time?

Last question first, since that is the easy one......approximately 50 (fifty) users for wireless depending on how active each user might be.
The first question is much more difficult, as distance is not really the issue with wireless.....obstructions are the issue.
A wireless signal can easily travel 300 feet or more with no obstructions in the signal path.
But, a typical wall of sheetrock or wallboard in a home will absorb....on average....15-20% of the wireless signal. Brick or adobe will obviously absorb much more. A ceiling....because it is thicker....will absorb about 25-35% of the signal.
So, if the wireless signal must pass through several walls and a ceiling, there won't be much, if any, of the signal left....even though the distance that the signal travels is not great...for example, 20-25 feet.
Other wireless networks around you at the neighbors can also affect the relative strength of the wireless signal.
The bottom line....locate the AirPort Extreme where wireless devices will receive a signal with the least amount of obstructions in the signal path. Your actual performance cannot be predicted in advance. You will not know how well the AirPort Extreme works for you until you try it out in your home.
If you find that the signal does not reach as far as needed,  you will need to add additional "extenders", like an AirPort Express to provide more signal coverage.
