This is really for information. I have lots of Java Consoles as add-ons. All apparently enabled. Do I need them all or can I remove all but the last

None of the Java extensions can be used;
my Microsoft frame is disabled;
my media player is gone;
and my google toolbar with all of my important bookmarks is missing.

Tried your plugins updating suggestion; no go.
Then tried updating to FF7.
This time the Yahoo! toolbar was no longer compatible with FF.
Scoured sites discussing problems with versions 6 & 7
and decided to retire to version 3.6.19.
Now both Google and Yahoo! toolbars are re-installed and
working....Only deficit may be that FF no longer supports or
soon will not support this version.
I have stashed all of my necessary bookmarks on Google's toolbar;
I like its drop-down menu as it doesn't change the page/window I'm
in the process of using;
I don't want to see that menu listed separately in a new window (too chaotic).
Same for the Google dictionary and Thesaurus, which are straightforward
and easy to use, again requiring nothing more complicated than a drop-down menu
to search for words and concepts.
--I checked Firefox 6 and 7's Dictionary/Thesaurus options but unfortunately
found none.
So if Firefox continues to upgrade with diminished returns, I'll likely have to go
to Google Chrome.
Would rather not do that.
Maybe I can keep FF 3.6.19 without incurring nasty repercussions.
Hope so.
Have enjoyed being with Firefox for a few years.

Would like to know how many Java I should have in add/remove programs (control panel -WinXP)
There is: Java2 Platform Standard Edition Runtime Environment Version 5.0, SE v1.4 2_13, JavanPlatform, Standard Edition Runtime Environment Version 6.0.30, then Java 2.0 download manager.
Also,after 6.0.30 installation I have problem with opening .pdf documents from any website. I have Adobe pdf 6.0
Please help, as I don't know what I should do ! Many thanks.

Fitbit does not sync with healthvault no matter how many times I add and delete it

My healthvault never shows any information synced from fitbit.com, I have the scales and a tracker and no matter how many times I add and delete it through the fitbit share healthvault page but it never ever syncs over night. I have left is weeks and
still nothing in HV.
I am starting to wonder if HV supports fitbit? Any help would really be appreciated, this is driving me insane.
Do I need to create a new account? is my account just broken?

You're referring to the JVM. That's not Java.It's part of Java.
There is nowhere in Java where it is correct to say "The string literal pool holds references, not String objects."

Sorry for the delayed reply. If you go to the Preferences, you should see new options for each add-on. Let me know which add-ons your using (I don't see any installed in your system data).
When you find an add-on using the search on the Add-ons screen, you need to tap it and then an Add to Firefox button will appear. Tap the Add to Firefox button to install it. Then, you should get additional items listed on the Preferences screen.

How many Licenses of Acrobat Professional do I need for Adobe LC PDF Generator

At our customer site we have purchased 6 licenses of Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator and have recieved a license file with the keys for Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator and Adobe Acrobat Professional. We bought the license from a reseller of the product. We understand that the Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator is a server based software and needs 1 license per CPU. Each of our server (Dev, Val & Prod) have 2 CPU's so we have sufficient licenses (6). We are under the impression that this would suffice. How ever we are not sure on how many licenses we need for Acrobat Professional.
Here is a brief description of the way we would use Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator. We are deploying a PLM system and one of the requirement is to render Word documents to PDF so we are using PDF Generator for this capability. On our Adobe servers we will install Microsoft Word, Acrobat Professional V9 Extended and the Adobe Livecycle PDF Generator. We will have around 150 users for the PLM system being deployed. The PLM system is a Web based system which means the PLM application server will be running on a Solaris server in our case. As part of the workflows in the PLM system, at the end of the workflow process, the PLM server would trigger a request to the Adobe server to convert the word document to PDF. The Adobe server processess the request and returns the PDF file that gets generated.
Based on the above usage of the system how many licenses of Acrobat Professional do we need? We will be installing Acrobat only on the server where we install the Livecycle PDF Generator. We had a call with our purchasing person today and she cautioned us that for Adobe Acrobat Professional we might need 1 license per user of the PLM system. She has asked us to check this with the Vendor of the product. Somehow I don't think it makes sense to purchase so many Acrobat Professional licenses even though we install only once.
So can someone tell me How does the licensing for Adobe Livecycle PDF Generator work? How many Acrobat Professional licenses we actually need? Is it based on the number of users in the system that is triggering the request? Appreciate your response on this.

You really should talk to your Adobe Sales Rep about this. There are all kinds of special deals, licenses and such for customers using LiveCycle. (For instance the license for PDFG may include Acrobat licenses for certain uses).

Or it could be an issue with the SC Info folder. See TS1277 - iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization for details.
Or a repair install of iTunes from the Programs and Features control panel might fix the problem.
