How many MAC-Address entries can an access-list (AIR1200) handle

Hi all
I got a couple of accesspoint AP1231G with a MAC-Filter configured.
Now I'm curios if the access-list has a maximal mac-address limitation.
At the moment there are about 130 MAC-address and couple of clients have sometimes trouble to get connected.
Any hints?

I was referring to the autonomous AP database size.
The default size of the database for the controller is different depending on verion.

Hi,
I don't think there is a limit per port.
The limit is the max number of entries in the CAM table so if for example the CAM table limit is 8000 and you already got 7200 entries you can have the 800 enties on different ports or on one port.

Depending on when you originally set up your Apple ID, you may have @mac.com, @me.com, and @icloud.com email addresses associated with your account, but all mail sent to those addresses should still come in to the same iCloud account (you can test this to make sure by sending yourself emails at those addresses). I've spent over 3 hours on the phone/chatting to online support and none of it seemed to help as it all revolved around resetting emails etc but can't do any of it without my access to my old email. Now my phone won't take cloud because they advised to set up new apple ID and use that, but can't sign out of old one completely. You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

How many macs can backup to a 3tb time capsule?

If I get a 3tb time capsule is there any limit (apart from the drive size) on how many macs can backup to it. At the moment no more than about 20gb of data per mac. Also has the reliability of the time capsule improved with the new version - I would like it to last longer than 18 months.

Let's assume that you backup each Mac separately on the first backup since that will copy the entire contents of the Mac's drive over to the Time Capsule disk. That might average 2-3 hours per Mac.
Once you have the "master" backup of each Mac completed, you can set each of them up for incremental Time Machine backups. On average, the hourly incremental backups only take a few minutes to complete. To be conservative, call it 5 minutes.
So if it takes each Mac about 5 minutes for an average incremental backup, the realistic limit of Macs backing up to a single Time Capsule would be in the 10-12 range. I've had 5 Macs backing up for 3 years with no issues whatsoever.
It would be a good idea to purchase AppleCare for one of your newer Macs if possible. That way, your Time Capsule is covered up to 3 years.
Keep in mind that we tend to only hear about issues on the forums. In that respect, this place is like a hospital...just about everyone here has a problem. No one ever seems to post to report that everything is OK.
You don't hear about the millions of devices that are working just fine, so it's tough to make a judgement on a product based on what you see and read here.

I've read elsewhere that you can connect two computers to the Thunderbolt Display, but you can't switch between them per se. You can only power up one at a time. Anyone, feel free to correct me on this, but my understanding is this is not an officially supported configuration.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

I'm using an external Western Digital 1TB hdd to back up my Macbooks via Time Machine. The HDD is connected to the Airport Extreme via USB. One of my Macbooks connects with little to no problems and is able to backup the data from the Macbook to the HDD via Time Machine.
However, my second Macbook always gets the message "The backup disk is not available". When I go to the Time Machine, I am able to connect to the HDD and select it as my backup. But whenever the second Macbook tries to connect via Time Machine, the error pops up.

The simple answer may be that Apple does not support Time Machine backups to a drive attached to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme.
Some users are able to get this to work...for a time...but corruption issues are inevitable. You might want to refer to the Apple support document regarding the use of Time Machine.

How many email addresses are kept on the recent contacts list? Can't find this listed anywhere.

I assume you are referring to it physically putting another separate contact in Address Book, and not the autofill list when typing an address into a new message window.
Mail does not have an option to add addresses from email to the address book automatically. The fact that you say it happens with the Exchange account and not the other accounts indicates that it's an exchange account problem.
Are you syncing the exchange account contact list with apple's address book? If so, you might take another look to the exchange account for something there.
