Directing loads on process chain to one application server
Hi Gurus
I have four application servers. The problem that I am trying to resolve is making sure all loads jobs are done on one application server with more background processors and queries can be directed to the other application server for end users....
When I run a load, the 1st package would start on the specified application server, but the next load would go to other aps servers...It does seem like the chain/load has a mind of it own...
I did the setting on process attribute background server to run in. once the dialogue process begin, it spun to other application servers....I am trying to restrict this job from going to other application servers, so that query run time limit could be set on the other 3 servers...
We do have load balancing. I am working with Basis to see what kind of setting that needs to be done or what kind of setting I need to do on the BW side
If anybody has done this before, please let me know...I really do appreciate this insight...
Thank you and I am looking forward to some suggestions from all

Maximum number of video chats supported by iChat Server
Hello all,
In the early 10.5 OS X server days, there were reports that OS X Server's iChat Server included support for 7 simultaneous video chats. Is this true? Is this still true with OS X 10.6 Server's iChat Server?
If not, what is the maximum number of video chats supported with OS X Server's iChat Server?
Thank you,

Not sure if the reports were about saying that; but it is not true.
Is this still true with OS X 10.6 Server's iChat Server?
Nope
If not, what is the maximum number of video chats supported with OS X Server's iChat Server?
Unlimited. This is 'cos audio and video streams are p2p and don't pass through the iChat server. The server has a limited involvement in helping the iChat clients set up the p2p connections, but once connected, it is no longer involved. -

Hello Yuliang,
The maximum number of local database accounts that could be created is 2048. You can configure the size of the local database with the command:
config database size <512-2048>
NOTE: This local database count is shared between the following entries:
MAC filters (clients)
AP MIC/SSC (AP authorization list)
Dynamic Interfaces
Management users
Local net users
Excluded Clients
If you are asking about the number of simultaneous wireless clients, I believe the 2125 supports 350 active wireless clients.

We are working on a capacity planning project for one of our customers and we need an estimate on the maximum number of PVCs supported in the following situations:
a)Cisco BPX 8620 and 8680 chassis with BCC-4V 128MB DRAM and 4 MB BRAM ?
b)Maximum number of PVC's supported by each of the following STM-1 cards:
- model BXM-155-4D and 4DX ?
- model BXM-155-8D and 8DX ?a)It depends upon software level. b) 16,000 per card, With release 9.3:
60K Connections Support on BXM-E—Provides the ability to support a maximum of 60K per card for VSI applications for the BPX 8600, for example, PNNI or MPLS, used on enhanced BXM-E cards. -
What is the Maximum number of user mailboxes supported by single Exchange Database in 2007 / 2010 & 2013 ?
Aditya MedirattaAgree with Keith, there is no MB # limit, however there are practical concerns such as DB size and how that effects recoverability as well as performance. In terms of extremes we had one major educational customer that had 35K Mailboxes in
a single database so you can utilize a ridiculous # of mailboxes in a DB if desired. IMO you are better off to keep the # of mailboxes to a reasonable level, i.e. no more than 250-500 mailboxes per DB
Search, Recover, & Extract Mailboxes, Folders, & Email Items from Offline Exchange Mailbox and Public Folder EDB's and Live Exchange Servers or Import/Migrate direct from Offline EDB to Any Production Exchange Server, even cross version i.e. 2003 -->
2007 --> 2010 --> 2013 with Lucid8's

IT store the all control records in one table: EDIDC
2.Data Record: it contains the data records.(multiple records)
It stores the data records sre stored in one table: EDIDD
3.Status records: It show the stutus of the record. (It is multiple)

How many numbers of GRE Tunnels are supported on Cisco 3925 router?
Hi...
I would like to know that.......
How many numbers of GRE Tunnels are supported on Cisco 3925 router?
Thanks....This is what I found in my search:
There may be factors such as memory constraints that will place practical limits on how many tunnels you can support. But there is also a hard limit on the number of tunnels that you can configure. That limit is based on the limitation of the number of IDBs supported by your router. The IDB is the Interface Descriptor Block and each interface (physical, or tunnel, or loopback, or whatever) requires an IDB. The number of IDBs will vary by platform and sometimes by release level of the code that you are running. You can use the privileged command show idb to see what the limitation is on your router. On the 1841 router that I just checked the limit on IDB is 1200 (which is a pretty large number - I believe that you would encounter other limits on performance or on size of configuration before you exhaust the IDB limit).

Hope it helps.

How many AirPort Express stations can be supported by an AirPort Extreme wirelessly?
I got one AirPort Extreme in my home and would like to extend the wireless network by purchasing additional AirPort Express. Wanna know how many AirPort Express stations can be supported by an AirPort Extreme wirelessly?
Thanks.
TonyBob -- question for you which I can't answer as I don't have an airport extreme. The newer Extremes can create both G and N networks and can create the N network in the 5 mhz band. Can you increase the number of Express units you can connect wirelessly if you split the load between the 2.4 mhz G and 5 mhz N networks created by the Extreme. (recognizing that the 5 mhz band has less range than the 2.4 mhz band)
Not an issue for me as I only have three connected wirelessly, but I've always wondered about this. Of my three AX units one connects to a G network created by a Linksys WRT54GS and two connect to the N network created by the AX.
So instead of 3-4 AX units could it become 6-8?

Typically, How many back and forths with Creative Support before they acknowledge your questi
Typically, how many times does one have to go back and forth with Creative Support before they acknowledge an issue or question?
This is ridiculous.
I'm on the forth reply now.
All I want to know is if there is a?64-bit ASIO driver for the X-Fi Titanium on 64-bit Vista?
They will not answer me.
All of my testing indicates that there is not a 64-bit ASIO driver for Vista, but they will not confirm or deny.
:angry:dRe: Typically, How many back and forths with Creative Support before they acknowledge your question?U I don't know what Creative would have written if you asked SUpport these days?
I assume, they lied when they wrote this. There are several walkarounds for XFI cards
with beta drivers. In releas drivers they exclude the ASIOx64, but in beta it's included!
Creative has a very awkward marketing strategy. This was with Vista not having EAX on Audigy as
the said it is impossible. The newer X-FI was able to?do it and after a few weeks the Audigy also could-
after paying for it. The same with DolbyDigital Li've... and now with x64 ASIO. They reduce features
in cases the cheaper card had same possibilities as the more expensi've EMUs...
Shame on them. I?baught a creative Card for the 4th time (SB, SB AWE32,Audigy2, and now Titanium).
I'm going to thinking about selling it... -
Maximum number of mail processes exceeded
I've got problems with my mailserver. I already had them, but after a restart the problems didn't occur. From today after sys updates I have them back.
Some clients mostly iPhones can't connect to my mailserver.
In the system log I have the following error message:
Jul 26 15:07:49 miniserver dovecot[60]: Maximum number of mail processes exceeded (see maxmailprocesses setting)
I don't know where these settings are in a config file.
I also have problems with webmail, I I want to login I get an error message: Unknown error: Internal login failure. Refer to server log for more information.
Thanks,
PatrickI found the config file and edited in: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
Settings were: mailmacprocesses: 3
Changed it to 300 and voila. -
How many licences does Final Cut Studio Support?
How many licences does Final Cut Studio Support? Its the latest one (3) btw. The one that has FCP 7
Any input is highly appreciatedIt can be installed on (1) desktop and (1) laptop, and you cannot use them at the same time. The idea is that you use the application when you are in your office, and if you need to go on the road, you can use it there, while the one in the office is not in use.

How many scripts do you work on simultaneously?
We'd love to know how many scripts do you work on at a given time?
Is it safe to assume that you'd work on no more than 3 scripts at a time?
--Anubhav
Anubhav Rohatgi
Product Manager, Adobe StoryIn my experience it depends on what type of assignments one can get. When working a feature, you pretty much are working on one script, if working on spec, this could go as high as five or six, though you only concentrate on one at a time.
Series television, especially complicated multi-episode story arcs can have something on the order of ten scripts in various stages of development. Where I have not personally worked on such a series, I have heard that character groups will be assigned to a given writer, and four or five writers will contribute their scenes to the final script. The colaborative tools of Adobe Story would lend itself well to this sort of workflow.
I don't think I would like to see an upper limit on scripts in the program personally, though I suspect why you are asking. The higher you can allow the better, especially if this tool is to be adopted by one hour drama writers.
