How many minutes is......

How many minutes is one percent of battery life on ipad mini?

Well the spec page. http://www.apple.com/ipad-mini/specs/, for the iPad Mini says it gets up to 10 hours battery life given a set of usage characteristics. So do the math for 1% and convert to minutes.
Keep in mind that the specs are for a specific theoretical situation. Your actual experience may vary. And as the battery loses charge the rate of lose is not linear. So your lose between 10% and 1% may not be the same lose as between 100% and 90%. Do some experimentation and let us know.

  • How many minutes are in voice memo

Does anyone know how many minutes can be recorded on the voice memo aspect of the 3g Iphone?

Thanks for responding. I hate to sound like an idiot as I am not very technically literate, what does that mean - something about megabites? Is there a way to tell on the phone, something that I can access?

  • How many minutes without loss in quality?

I started using iDVD in 2003. Back then, I was told that you can put up to about 80 minutes on a DVD without any noticeable loss in quality. Based on my experiences, that seemed to be a good rule of thumb.
Have there been sufficient improvements in the encoder to allow significantly more minutes at high quality? I use iDVD for archiving and don't want to come back years later and realize that the quality was compromised. On the other hand, I don't want to waste discs with over-kill (some misguided individuals think that 60 minutes is the limit).

    iDVD encoding settings:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/11417.html
    Short version:
Best Performance is for videos of up to 60 minutes
Best Quality is for videos of up to 120 minutes
Professional Quality is also for up to 120 minutes but even higher quality (and takes much longer)
Professional Quality: The Professional Quality option uses advanced technology to encode your video, resulting in the best quality of video possible on your burned DVD. You can select this option regardless of your project’s duration (up to 2 hours of video for a single-layer disc and 4 hours for a double-layer disc). Because Professional Quality encoding is time-consuming (requiring about twice as much time to encode a project as the High Quality option, for example) choose it only if you are not concerned abo
In both cases the maximum length includes titles, transitions and effects etc. Allow about 15 minutes for these.
You can use the amount of video in your project as a rough determination of which method to choose. If your project has an hour or less of video (for a single-layer disc), choose Best Performance. If it has between 1 and 2 hours of video (for a single-layer disc), choose High Quality. If you want the best possible encoding quality for projects that are up to 2 hours (for a single-layer disc), choose Professional Quality. This option takes about twice as long as the High Quality option, so select it only if time is not an issue for you.
Use the Capacity meter in the Project Info window (choose Project > Project Info) to determine how many minutes of video your project contains.
NOTE: With the Best Performance setting, you can turn background encoding off by choosing Advanced > “Encode in Background.” The checkmark is removed to show it’s no longer selected. Turning off background encoding can help performance if your system seems sluggish.
And whilst checking these settings in iDVD Preferences, make sure that the settings for NTSC/PAL and DV/DV Widescreen are also what you want.

  • How many minutes can fit on a red laser "high def" dvd?

using the share feature in FCP7 and making the "bluray" (avchd) dvd but on a standard 4.7 dvd, how many minutes of footage can I burn?
What about a double layer 8.5gb DVD??

check out this video - I think Bruce might say how much you can fit.

  • How many minutes of video can you fit on a bluray (avchd) dvd-5?

so im trying to burn a bluray (avchd) video on a dvd-5 and it doesnt say anywhere how many minutes this new feature supports... anyone?
    thanks!

It depends upon your encoding bitrate. If I'm using Toast 10 to do the encoding and use its' "best quality" encode (avg 8mbps, max 16 mbps) I can get about 40 minutes on a DVD-5. Higher bitrates should give you a better end product (I think the default in Compressor is 16 & 25)but will then fit only about 20-25 minutes on a dvd-5. Some blu-ray players (like my Sony) have problems playing these discs for some reason. They play fine on others.

  • I want to know how many minutes were used last billing cycle for calling

my daughter has been calling out of state a lot recently.  i want to know previous statement minutes and it also mentioned that out of area calls may not show up on bill right away. so how many minutes has she actually used this billing cycle?

If you are the account owner, you can go online and view the usage for each line on your account.  For calls, you can go back 12 months and see the history.
If she made the calls from your home area, then there should be no delay in them showing up on the bill. The delay comes if the phone is out of the home area and roaming; sometimes the information from the roaming towers takes more time to reach Verizon  computers.  Your question wasn't clear if she was simply calling an out of state number, or if she was out of state and making calls.

  • Where can I find out how many minutes I have used?

I have tried going through the phone, I have called #MIN, I have checked online, all it says is I have $10. I don't want my $ balance, I want to know how many minutes I have used, so I don't go over. I have the Gusto. Any help would be appreciated; the FAQ on here is useless.

Not that it solves the problem, or will necessarily make you feel any better, but I have the same phone, and had the same problem while I was on the $35/month plan, but I'm on the $45 one now, so the minutes don't matter. When I was on the other one, there was a short period of time it gave me the total amount of minutes I had (including after allowance minutes), with every outgoing call (except 911 or other free calls), but they suddenly stopped that. I really don't think it's fair, it's just a way for those who use over 500 minutes (I don't, but that's not the point) to get fleeced with the 25c after allowance unknowingly, since they have no idea how many minutes they've used in the 30 day period...NOT A FAIR POLICY, VERIZON!

  • How many minutes of video can my iPhone 4S record?

I have about 2.5GB free on my iPhone 4S, and I was wondering, about how many minutes of video would I be able to record with that?

Here's a discussion that says one hour = one gigabyte:

  • How many minutes of video can I record on my ipad mini 16gb?

How many minutes of video can I record on my ipad mini 16gb?

It all depends on how much room you have available.
    I shot a 12 second video that's about 25 megs.
so guestimate 60 seconds = 150 megs or so.

  • How many minutes to back icloud

how many minutes to back up icloud? my iphone 4 is ios 6.1

Depends on your internet speed. I've heard everything from 10 minutes to 40+ hours.
If you have a fast wifi connection and it's not a huge backup, it won't take too long.

  • How many minutes of video will the 64 gb hold

i was wondering how many minutes of video and or how many pictures the 64 gb iPad 2 will hold?

depending on what else you have on the iPad, up to about 63gb's worth.
how many depends entirely on the size of the files

  • How many Minutes of HD from a Standard DVD?

I was wondering how many HD minutes +/- a few can I get from a standard DVD if I buy Roxio Toast 10 Titanium w/HD plugin? Will the program tell me if I exceed the time amount? I want to squeeze in as much as I can.
And I'm currently running 10.4.11 on a Power PC, so is Roxio 9 w/HD plugin as good as 10 for burning HD on standard DVD? Or should I move up to OS x10.5 and get Roxio Toast 10. Is is worth the upgrade? I'll probably only use the HD part with a standard DVD at first, then get an external Blu-Ray unit.
    Thanks,
    Rod

Toast will tell you. The 20 minute estimate was based on 'normal' content with movement. Note that if you are taking pictures of a black cat in a coal bin, you can probably fit a lot more on a disc.
If you want HD quality, it makes absolutely no sense to drop the bit-rate to low values to fit more content on a disc. You might just as well create an anamorphically squeezed widescreen SD DVD; that will give you about 2 hours on a DVD.

  • How many minutes do an iPod to take to die

How much minutes does an iPod to take to die from a full charge?

It really depends on what you are trying to achieve.
If you simply want to know how long it will play between charges, consider what JEM has told you.
    If you want to know how long before an frozen iPod will run down the battery so that it will reset when you charge it up again;
    a.) if the display is on, then anything from a few hours to a day;
b.) if the display is not on and the iPod is unresponsive, it may take a few days to drain the battery.
If we have not yet solved the issue that brought you here, please explain what it is that you are trying to achieve.
