How many PTS PGW2200 support ?

Hi,
We plain to make some inteconections, but the server provider can't offer only one PTS for all 10 POP's.
I need to have 10 PTS in all POP's.
So, one pgw2200 support how many PTS ??
We use AS54000 in this interconnection.
Thanks.

If by PT you mean point codes, then you can have six OPCs by default, and I'm not sure what the limit is on DPCs, but I have seen many more than ten. If you need more than six OPCs there are some ways to accomplish this.
I configured one for a client with five as5400s hooked to four switches with bearer and data links all over the place. Very versatile and redundant, but rather a headache.
as5400 is fine, but there are some limits on the number of F/A (data) links you can have if you are going to need a separate F link for each switch. Again, there are ways to work around it, but 'it depends'.

  • How many users are supported on a Cisco Aironet 1141N? 30?

I have a client that wants to upgrade his Aironet 1131 APs with 1141N.  How many users are supported on a Cisco Aironet 1141N?

Yes, you could have 30 clients on the AP.
Client density all depends on what the client is doing, really.
So if you have clients that are just web surfing and pulling email 30+ isn't a problem.  If they are all streaming video, then you want to plan for less clients per AP, and more APs.

  • How many CPUs are supported buying software via MacApp Store?

I am not sure how many CPUs are supported when I buy a software via MacApp Store.  Who makes the rule?
The MacApp Store or the developer/software company?
i.e. when it comes out I like to buy Final Cut Pro X but I have no clue on how many computers I can use it.
    Greetings from Germnay

A notable thing of the Mac App Store is that it is built on trust, there seems to be no check on how many machines you have installed an app, so they trust you to install it only on your computers.
True. And the license says computers that you own or control, so one can also use the apps on a Mac that was issued for use from an employer or educational institution, but that one may not actually own.

  • Portege M300 - How many bit are supported by LBA

    Hello,
Does someone know how many bit are supported by LBA? Has it 48 bit?
I need to know if I can mount a 120GB Hdd against a 160GB for an important upgrade.
I can't find this information on toshiba site: are there changelog BIOS somewhere?
    Thank you

Did you mean the general LBA specification or the ATA interface equipped in M300?
There are two different spec; 28bit and 48bit.
I think your M300 supports the original design specifications and it provides only 28bit logical block addressing.
Therefore in my opinion you will be not able to use bigger then 137GB HDDs

  • 881 Router - How many Vlans are supported (Dhcp scopes)

    Dear All!
After calling Cisco three times without response, I need to ask this most likely simple question right here.
How many vlans does a 881 router support? Will this be the same number for dhcp scopes?
    Thanks for your time...
..hopefully you guys can sort it for me ;)

    Hi,
On every Cisco router platform each interface, sub interface & VLAN
uses a system reference point referred to as an Interface Desciptor Block.
    IDB
Depending on processing power of each platform determines the number
of IDBs the router platform can support.
On all IOS version referred to in the documentation a Cisco 881
can support up to 300 IDBs
    The router has physically 5 interfaces (4 x LAN + 1 x WAN)
    300 - 5 = 295
So you shouldin theory be able to build
    295/2 = 147 VLANs & 147 SVIs
Remember a VLAN uses 1 IDB & an SVI uses 1 IDB
See this link for more info.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks
    Karim

    Hi
If you are looking for max number of clients these AP could support,  for most of indoor AP model, general answer is 200 which is documented here. (some models max100 or 128)
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/wireless/buyers-guide.html#~indoor
For the outdoor AP model it is not listed, but I would assume max value should be similar to indoor.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/wireless/buyers-guide.html#~outdoor
As others pointed out when designing, you should keep it to low number (20-30) to give the required throughput/performance  for each user.

  • Cores,  how many are supported by After FX CS3 on win vista?

    Hi folks,
do you know how many cores are supported by after fx CS3?
I am able to use a dual xeon quadcore workstation with 8 cores and 24 GB Ram for my diploma, but I don't know if this hardware is supported by CS3?
It is the Xeon 5355 Quad Core 2,67 Ghz on dual 771 socket mainboard from Tyan. The OS is Win Vista Premium 64bit.
Does anyone of you have further information if this is doable?
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Roman

Each instance of AE can only access a maximum of 4 GB of RAM (on Vista64). With the "Render multiple frames simultaneously" option in the preferences, AE CS3 and later can start several hidden copies of itself in the background, which can each address that maxmium amount of RAM, so your machine would ideally use 5 processor cores (5 x 4 = 20 GB and leave 4 GB for the OS.)
In CS4 you can set the number of cores to use, in CS3 you have to do it via a text file, detailed in this post:
    i http://generalspecialist.com/2007/02/troubleshooting-after-effects-7.asp (look for "MaxNumberOfProcesses")
PS. On OS X, each instance can address 3.5 GB and on Windows XP and Windows Vista 2 GB (or 3 GB if you are adventurous:

  • How many Multi-Touch points can an iPhone/iPod touch have at the same time?

How many Multi-Touch points can an iPhone/iPod touch/iPad have at the same time?
I am curious as IIRC (but forgot where the article is on the Internet),
if a touch surface is wanted to be able to detect more than 1 touch point at the same time,
then that touch surface needs adding 1 more conductive(?) layer.
    (e.g. 2 points -> 2 layers, and so on)
So I wonder how many these layers are on the iPhone / iPod touch / iPad or even the trackpad on every MacBook (Pro).
    (correct me if I'm wrong)
    Just curious, thanks in advance!

I believe it can only support 2. This article explains how the touch screen works but doesn't explicitly say how many points is supports.

  • How to setup to support more user support

We plan to migrate our database from SQL Server to Oracle 10g to improve application system cocurrency. Our application system is C/S architecture. But,after my migration,I tested and found connection number is not as much as before. So,I want to know how to setup my initial parameter to support more cocurrent connection.
    Very thanks.

I tested and found connection number is not as much as beforeCan you explain what issues you are having in a bit more detail?
Are you getting any Oracle errors while trying to connect?
How many simultanious connections are you expecting?
How many are currently supported in your setup?
How is the application using the connection? How long is the connection held by the client before releasing it?
