How many simultaneous SSID ?

How many simultaneous SSID can I configure on Cisco AIR-BR1310G ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Roberto,
You can configure up to 16 SSIDs on your access point/bridge and assign different configuration settings to each SSID. All the SSIDs are active at the same time; that is, client devices can associate to the access point/bridge using any of the SSIDs. These are the settings you can assign to each SSID:
•VLAN
•Client authentication method
Note For detailed information on client authentication types, see "Configuring Authentication Types."
•Maximum number of client associations using the SSID
•RADIUS accounting for traffic using the SSID
•Guest mode
•Repeater mode, including authentication username and password
•Redirection of packets received from client devices

Hope this helps!

Is there a restriction on how many simultaneous wireless iPads can watch movies from one iTunes account or AppleTV generation 2 or later?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
I find it hard to believe that this information isn't clearly available somewhere, but it isn't and I don't think I've seen anyone here who is 100% sure. However, I believe you can have up to 10 associated devices, which include authorised computers (of which you can have up to 5), I suspect the Apple TV might become a temporary associated device while it's in use, but I'm not entirely sure myself.

  • How many simultaneous sessions

    Hi All,
Is there a parameter on the app server that limits the number of simultaneous SAPGUI sessions to 5?  If so, is there a "real" limit and what might that be?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Randy,
Try look at profile parameter "rdisp/max_alt_modes" and it's description.
This parameter controls how many sessions are possible for one logon (2=>10).
To control multiple logon you can use profile parameter "login/disable_multi_gui_login", again try read it's documentation (Yes/no).
The combination of this two parameters is your "real" limit.
    (Also consider parameter "login/disable_multi_rfc_login").

    Rolf

  • How many simultaneous https conections ... ?

    Hello all,
Could you tell me how SSL modules are needed for handling twenty thousand HTTPS simultaneous connections (for e-invoices services)? I read that one ssl module can handling eight hundred transactions per second and twenty thousand simultaneous SSL sessions per module, but I can not understand the difference.
At the moment I have two CSS11503 devices without ssl modules.
    Thanks !

an open connection, even inactive requires some memory.
    That's the 20k limit.
An active connection will require CPU.
    That's the 800 transactions limit.
So, you can have 20k connection alive, but if they are all very active, the users may experience delay.
I think 2 modules would be better but 1 could be enough.
    Gilles.

  • How many multiple SSID can i use with AIR-WLC2112-K9 ?

    Hi.
    Im thinking of using either
    AIR-WLC2112-K9
    or
    AIR-WLC2125-K9
Im wondering whats the big differens is between these two besides the supported number of Accesspoints.
I want every Accesspoint to broadcast the same 10-20 SSID. So that the same 10-20 SSID have coverage all over the building.
Some insight would be much appreciated.
    Regards Tommy Svensson

    Extract from the configuration guide
    Refer line in bold
"The Cisco UWN solution can control up to 512 WLANs for lightweight access points. Each WLAN has a separate WLAN ID (1 through 512), a separate profile name, and a WLAN SSID. All controllers publish up to 16 WLANs to each connected access point, but you can create up to 512 WLANs and then selectively publish these WLANs (using access point groups) to different access points to better manage your wireless network.
Note: Cisco 2106, 2112, and 2125 Controllers support only up to 16 WLANs."
Why you'd be trying to push so many WLANs with a 2100 controller is beyond me, it's not exactly an enterprise device

  • How many simultaneous clients are supported by the LMS 4.0?

I am working on a bid that needs to support
at least 30 operators accessing the LMS 4.0 at the same time.
I could not find this information on the documentations.
    Thanks for any help

LMS does impose a simultaneous client limit.  LMS can handle up to 20 concurrent users on the system.  This is documented in the LMS 4.0 installation guide at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/4.0/install/guide/prep.html#wpmkr1373140 .

  • How many simultaneous users can a CAP3503E AP accomodate

    Hello,
I am doing right now a site survey using CAP3502E (downgrade to autonomous).  I have a certain section with 12 users and the client wants 5 users per AP.  Can the CAP3502E accomodaet 12 users at a time?
    Thanks,

    Thanks for the ratings.
Just want to say a few things:
    1.  You can never go wrong if you get a wireless site survey done prior to installtion of APs.
    2.  If you have budget for MORE APs than what the wireless site survey states, be thankful.  Not everyone is as lucky as you.
    3.  If you do happen to get a wireless site survey done, please set your settings for wireless voice application in mind.

  • How many users on one T1

Hello, this is likely a simple question for anyone but
me...but I haven't seen a clear answer after an hour of searching
    documentation.
I am looking to set up a FMS that will be connected to a T1
line. If during a live webcast the media encoder is set to upload
the stream at about 450kbps, how many simultaneous users can we
expect to serve at the maximum?
    Thank you so much!
    Rob

QoS means Quality of Service.  Basically it reorders or delays packets depending on priority, so that time-sensitive packets always go first, and unimportant packets like bittorrent can be delayed until there is no other traffic being sent.  What I specifally was suggesting here is that your use it to lower the priority of bittorrent traffic, so that you can run it all the time but it only uses spare bandwidth that isn't being used by any other service.
The only catch most routers can only do QoS on inbound connections which is mainly helps latency and not download speeds.  However, if your router is running linux it may have that ability.  Also look for the 'tc' utility or maybe you can install trickle.
This thread has little bit more info.

  • MaxActive?? how many connections should be made available

Can anyone recommend what I should set the maxActive="" property of my database resource connection for a medium to large scale ecommerce application.
How many simultaneous database connections might I expect?
I know this is dependant on the volume of traffic on the site, but I just need a general Idea, I currently have maxActive="100", but I'm a little worried that this may be insufficent for a site that may have up to 5000 concurrent users.
    Thanks in advance.

Do you have a formula for the above, to give an
    estimated requirement for maxActive connection
    settings?
Sorry! there is no real formula but since you are working on a web application the number of connections used will be close to the number of requests at a time on your web application.
And the number of concurrent users dosent give much idear about the number of concurrent requests becouse users dont keep clicking all the time. Most of the time they will be reading somthing on the browser.
Here is a simple calculation but only accurate if you assume that server takes 1sec to process each request.
If the number of concurrent users is 5000 and each user makes a click once in every 60secs, then there will be aproximatly 5000/60 requests/sec. That is 83.333... requests
I assume the only warning sign I will get when
maxActive is reached will be browsers 'hanging' until
it either times out or a connection is released to
the pool?Browsers normally times out and display an error if the server do not respond within a predefined interval (Normaly 90secs) thats what you should watch out for.
By the way if what you want is to make sure the maximum is never reached just set it to a negative value.(Assuming that you are using apache commons pool. negative means infinity)
And set reasonable numbers to MaxIdle, MinEvictableIdleTimeMillis, and TimeBetweenEvictionRunsMillis. Please read the documentation of the setter methods of above attributes if you dont know what above attributes are for.
you can also add a back end page to your web application to display the staticstics of the pool.
such as the number of current idle connections, current active connection and ect...

  • How many Management agents can you have running simultaneously on a host?

    Hi all,
I've scoured the Oracle documentation and not been able to find a definitive answer to this question, how many Oracle management agents can you have on a single managed host target? Can you for example run an 11g agent and a 12c agent simultaneously (whilst migrating to 12c without upgrading the present OEM instance) If so can you run two 12c agents, each pointing to a different OMS? I’ve seen examples of an agent for each database instance on a host managed target, so a host with three Oracle database instances has three Oracle Management agents all pointing to the same OMS with each agent is monitoring just one of the database instances. There must be resource considerations here for memory, cpu and network traffic etc? I’ve always understood it to be one Oracle Management Agent per managed host
    Thanks

I don't think there's any data on impact or performance since it's not a recommended configuration. If you have host/configuration monitoring enabled on both agents, they will be running the same queries/scripts against the host/inventory, etc. so they will likely have contention at some point. If you monitor the same databases, you will definitely see contention and increased overhead as there will be multiple agents running the same queries. You might also see problems w/ any of the server generated alerts (tablespace, etc) if you change thresholds as the agents send that to the database, and then the database will be out of sync with the other agents.
What exactly is the goal for having multiple agents? Is it short term or long term?

  • How long can you share a folio file for and how many people simultaneously

    Hi There,
Questions per above title, can you share a folio file via the content viewer for an unlimited time?  How many people could you share it with simultaneously?
As well I am trying to understand do you have to pay for DPS (and if so can it just be the single version) to be able to share a .folio file through the content viewer.  Can you just have in design 5.5+.
In addition, if the .folio file is set up for Ipad distribution when shared will it be formatted and fully usable/interactive through the content viewer by the person you are showing it to on the ipad?
    Any help is appreciated.

You do not need to pay to share a folio file via the content viewer.
I'm not aware of any limits on how long a folio can be shared to, or how many e-mails a folio can be shared to.
And yes, on the interactivity question.

  • How many vpn can be used simultaneously in Azure?

I need to add multiple locations to my azure platform approximately 90 branches , I need to know if I should set up a vpn for each branch , or as I should. thank you very much .
I am from Colombia , if they can write in Spanish would be better

    Hi,
It seems that you have asked this question before:
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/azure/en-US/c533ff85-c155-4a19-8156-67901da66ee4/how-many-vpn-can-be-used-simultaneously-in-azure?forum=WAVirtualMachinesVirtualNetwork#c533ff85-c155-4a19-8156-67901da66ee4
Based on my experience, the maximum limitation for virtual networks and local networks is 100 per subscription and the limitation for local network
sites is 10 per virtual network in Azure. If you connect each on-premise branch with an Azure virtual network, it would be possible to do that. However, the default limitation for virtual networks and local networks is 10 per subscription, you can request
an increase limitation by following the article below:
    http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2014/06/04/azure-limits-quotas-increase-requests/
If you have anything unclear, please feel free to let me know.
    Best regards,
    Susie

  • How many people can simultaneously share airport express network?

How many people can simultaneously share airport express network?  I want to set up a wireless network in my classroom and need to accommodate about 25 devices.

The AirPort Express will only handle 10 wireless connections.
You will need to consider an AirPort Extreme....which will handle up to 50 wireless connections.

  • HT204291 Is there a limit to how many AppeTVs I can stream to simultaneously?

Is there a limit to how many AppeTVs I can stream to simultaneously?

Stream what? If you mean airplay then you can only send 1 video stream, audio cannot be separated. Music can be sent to different airplay enabled speakers (including those connected to ATV) within iTunes or by using remote app.
