None. If there is a good charge in the battery when you get it go ahead and use your pad. I use my iPad during the day and leave it to charge overnight. If I use too much battery during the day I'll charge it again.

I have apps as small as 7MB and some well over 300MB, and I'm sure those are by no means the largest apps that exist. My family has 5 iPad Minis and 3 iPhones (2x 4s and 1x 4), and I have been looking for a better way to manage these devices. I have a solution for everything but the USB hub. My computer only charges the first two plugged in, although it will allow me to sync all at one time. I'm looking for a way to charge and sync them all at once. I've been looking for a powered usb hub that will accomplish this, but so far, I'm not having much success. Everything under $500 I've come across says they won't charge iPads (or more than 2). However, I noticed somewhere that iPad mini only requires 1.0 A vs the 2.1A for the iPad. Is this true? If so, does anyone have any experience with powering and syncing multiple iPads, and if so, what device did you use?

If you synced it many times, you have to have a backup. It's just a question of how old that backup is now. When did you last sync?
First of all launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. Do you see any backups for you iPad in that window? If so, how new is the newest backup? That will be the backup that you will want to use. But remember that if you use that backup and it is one month old, you can only restore from that date back in time. Anything that you did on the iPad in the past month will not be in that backup.
Turn on the new iPad Minin and start activating OTA via WiFi. You will get to a certain point in the process where you will be given the choice to Set up as new, Restore from iCloud - or Restore from iTunes. You will want to select Restore from iTunes.
That is the short and sweet version. There are step by step instructions in this article. This applies to the mini as well as the iPad 4 or the iPad 3 for that matter.

Either one will work just fine. Circuitry in the iPad controls how much actual current is going to the battery. The 2A port will take less time to fully charge the battery.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

It doesn't seem to cover your specific issue, but have you tried using a different network (either a different wi-fi network, or switching from wi-fi to cellular or vice-versa if you have a wi-fi+cellular iPad)?
For GMail, iCloud and Yahoo, copies of messages are stored on their respective servers, so you could try deleting the account on your iPad, then re-adding each account one at a time to see if that resolves the issue.

Kindle charger on Ipad Mini

I have chargers for a Kindle and an iPad Mini. In both cases the transformers are built in to the mains plug and both have identical usb outlet ports to connect via a lead to the devices.
The mains plug of the Kindle charger delivers 5 volts 0.85amp = 4.25watts. The iPad mini equivalent delivers an output of 5 volts 1.0 amp = 5 watts.
If I put the iPad Mini usb charger lead in the Kindle mains plug and tried to charge my iPad mini with it at 5 volts 0.85amp = 4.25watts, would this cause any problems to the iPad Mini?
Likewise, could I use the iPad mains plug and the kindle lead to charge the Kindle at 5 volts 1.0 amp = 5 watts, would this cause any problem to the kindle?

Either will charge either. All compliant USB chargers should be interchangeable to the extent that they'll work to charge things. It's just a question of how long they take. I'm not sure about Minis, but the charger that comes with an iPad is 12W, which will charge it faster, but a 5W one will work. too.

I'm worry about this because my application is already online (It's a mail server -SMTP and POP3 server using ORACLE for the users database- ) and some other user post in the "multi-tread forum" that almost any JVM can only have 700 threads created at the same time, and I've never heard or read anything about this.
