How many Touchsmart users have had video / display problems?

I'm wondering if any other Touchsmart users that use the Nvidia chips have had video issues? Nvidia & HP have admitted issues with some products, though HP don't mention the Touchsmart as one of the affected models,despite the fact that some Touchsmarts (eg IQ770) have both the GeForce Go 7600 chip and AMD Turion processors. But many HP users are reporting problems with other models as well.
In my case my IQ770 completely failed with a sort of checker board pattern within the warranty period, and HP fixed it (eventually!). Now the warranty has expired I'm experiencing intermittent video issues whereby the screen colors go all weird for varying periods (minutes to days), as though the color depth has gone way down, or someone is using a bad chromakey effect. Anecdotally this appears to be heat related. I've ruled out software issues by clean booting from a boot CD. Unfortunately the intermittent nature means that even if I send it for repair, I won't immediately know if the problem has been succesfully fixed, or if in fact anything was done at all!!
So has anyone else experienced video problems?

Sourcing Drivers for dongles when upgrading OS is a nightmare whether its osx or windoze. It takes the likes of Huawei ages to produce new versions. I strongly recommend getting a portable wifi (mifi) which will work with any device and sits in your pocket not sticking out the usb port where it gets broken. Recommend Huawei E5756

EA6900 - How many wireless users do you have?

I have another post researching why my EA6900 keeps shutting down my wifi users while the router itself otherwise seems healthy. Currently, the support team is wondering if I'm maxing out my wifi connections. Is there anyone out there who has more than me? I would imagine that a corporate location should have a big number.
Currently, I have (at any one time) about ~11 wireless clients:
3 Kindles (andriod)
2 Windows Phones
2 DLink Wifi Cameras
1 Windows Laptop
1 Windows Tablet
1 Wireless Printer
1 Smart TV (sometimes used for streaming)
Physical Wired Connections:
1 PC
1 Storage Device (networked)
1 Xbox 360
1 Xbox One
No way 10 clients blow out the router, right? How many do you have?

Maybe you found out already. I stumbled upon the solution by chance. Select all your notes (Command + A), then look under 'Window' in the Menu: there's the number of Notes you got.

How to find out how many concurrent users using web application?

I have a web application deployed using 9iAS. I am trying to find out how to find out how many concurrent users are using this application at any one time. According to Oracle there is no way to see this information using the enterprise manager interface.
Does anybody out there know how I can find out this information in real time? Failing that, are there any good analysis tools out there that display usage to the minute (all the tools I have found show usage by hour which is not sufficent for my needs).
Any help would be much appreciated,

I know I haven't heard of any software to do this, but this also sounds like a really hard problem to try and really analyze well.
The trick is, you might "infer" how long a user is using an application based on when cookies are set and when they're set to expire. If that's a long time, though, that could count far more "concurrent" users than are actually there. A user could simply close the application at any time and stop using the application; you can't really detect that because the server isn't "told" when the user closes their browser or goes somewhere else.
A good perl script might be able to read the Apache access log and tell you how many unique IPs asked for a given directory in which various applications are stored in any 5 minute span of time... that could be something like an indicator of "concurrent" users.
If you don't know Perl, I'd suggest getting the O'Reilly & Associates book on Perl and learning it, because the more I think about this, the more this sounds like a textbook example for applying a Perl script.

i'm asking that because i use MaxDB in production systems, and i'm worried if i can continue to use MaxDB without any trouble, because now with versions 7.6 and above, we dont have the sources.

I'm not into the details very much, but I believe the contract guys are working on something for non-sap-customers.

Cocerning the use of MaxDB without a support contract in a production environment I understand that you want more safetiness than the forum response times can give you.
The question to me is: will that be something that source code access can give you?
Does sourcecode access reduces the time for the first reaction/workaround?
I believe the answer is likely to be: no.
In the wast majority of problems I had to deal with databases the problems had been solved without even knowing the source code or consulting with somebody who knew it. The whole idea of multilevel support is build on this. (First levels solve everything that is not a bug so that developers can do what they do best: develop and code).
Therefore I get the impression that having access to the code is more a psychological thing than a real benefit.
On the other side keeping the code open puts some restrictions on the development that probably won't pay off to SAP (think of licensed routines etc. that are not GPL).
See, I don't want to put your request down - I just like to understand, what the real benefit of source code access is for you (and the other users of course).

So, SAP serves the customers that actually pay for maintenance and service better than the ones that get the software for free. Looks fair to me.
And as I already wrote: there had hardly ever been any major bugfix from the opensource community. The community was not outpaced by prohibitive release politics.
To fix bugs like the one you mentioned in one of your earlier forum threads a thorough understanding of the inner workings of the database is necessary. This knowledge won't be gained 'on-the-fly' when you're looking to fix the bug. And who is going to invest a lot of time into understanding some coding that he perhabs never will have to change just to be "on the safe side"?
About the idea of "SAP-Customers testing newer DB versions": well, there surely are some of the SAP customers trying out new releases/build as they are available.

No, honestly, one of the things about MaxDB Installations is (in difference to e.g. oracle): they are handled as "install-and-forget" setups.
I cannot recall how many messages I worked on where the release in place wasn't even supported anymore.
So to me it does not look like many of them are totally eager to check what the newest version will bring.

I know that there are limits on "authorize" and "de-authorize" and how frequently those things can be done.
Recently I heard that for the life of an iOS device, it can only be associated with five Apple IDs. That is not good for a school giving iPads to students in a 1:1

We would like to now, At a time How many times user can login to the SAP system through ITS
Kindly letus know if any one have idea about parameter which can restrict the end users to u201CNu201D times/ sessions.
Transaction SITSPMON/SMICM are not working in R/3 system as it is 46D.
We found that parameter u201Clogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D works with SAPgui logons.
System logons using the Internet Transaction Server (ITS) or Remote Function Call (RFC) are not affected by this Parameter u201Clogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D
I need similar parameter u201Clogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D for the ITS users.

How many Liquid Indicators have to turn red/pink to loose the guarantee?

So my power button on my Iphone 4S is not working. I went to the official service point, and they said they cant change it even thou the guarantee is still on, because the jack Liquid Indicator it red/pink (while the dock connector one is white). So my question is: how many Liquid Indicators have to turn red/pink to loose the guarantee? Can i demand them to check all 4 sensors, and then give me a new phone?

And it's absolutely not true that all four indicatores have to be triggered. I don't work for Apple, but I used to work for a self-servicing account and had access to Apple's troubleshooting documentation for the iPhone and it clearly stated that any indicator being triggered was sufficient evidence for invalidating the warranty. And again, an Apple technician just has to see evidence of liquid infiltration; no indicator needs to be triggered at all, though such a trigger is considered absolute proof.

In ITunes, when I select "songs", it used to say at the bottom how many songs I had and how many Gb of space it used, now it doesn't. Is there a way to see how many songs I have without counting them all?
