How many tracks do u think i can run b4 my computer starts not being able to handle it? I have 768 Megs of ram and a dual 1GHz, and a 80 gig HD. And Im talking vocals, music and efx all seperated on there own tracks?

Yea I can get 24 tracks easy with no problems I was just hoping I could get another 24 tracks with no problems, but that might be wishful thinking...Do u think if I blow my memory out to 2 gigs Ill have and easier time? I plan on doing so anyway. My 80 gig HD turns at 7200 rpm , my memory is at 768 right now, I havent tested it yet but I hope it works..lol Would it be easier on my computer to run logic on a seperate hard drive?

I have one and yeah, as others have mentioned, it depends what apps you're putting on it. However, I have found myself extremely restricted by the 8GB limit. I can only put about a single home screen's worth of new apps on my iPod without it running out of space, and that was after deleting all music, photos, and videos. So... Your frlend can always update the latest version supported by their device, which is iOS 6.1.3. What they can't do is update to anything before that.
The same is true of your iPad. You will always be able to update to the latest version (currently iOS 7.0.3) but not anything before that. What that means is that your choice is to stay with iOS 6.1.3 or update to the current version.

Hi, I'm trying to play over a 190 tracks simultaneously, but SP will only let me open 126. Is there a way around this, maybe create two files: one with 126 and the rest on another?? Any help would be appreciated.

They don't list a number in the [product specs|http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/specs/#soundtrackpro], probably because it would be somewhat system dependent. I can for instance add more than 126 tracks on an Intel iMac, although I'm not trying to playback that many.
I would think that for instance, an 8 core Intel Mac Pro is going to run a lot more than your dual G5.

As said you prolly want to post this in iPod section, but to my knowledge I don't think there's a limit as to how many devices you can register to a computer's iTunes account.
There is, however, a limit (think 5) to the number of computers you can authenticate an iTunes account to. But that won't affect the scenario you mention.

I'm happy w/ my Emu 0404 soundcard as of now, but i'd really like to be able to record more than two tracks simultaneously. I'm running my mackie 1604 VLZ Pro into the 1/4" inputs from bus 1 & bus 2. What i'm wondering is if there's a way to connect up to the digital or optical inputs via my mixer (or some adapter to do so) so i could utilize those in PatchMix for more simultaneous tracking. This would be great when there's more than two folks playing at my place. I really only need 4 since i personally would bus a drum set - don't really like messing w/ 8 tracks of drums...yet
The I/O config. going into the 0404 is:
Two 1/4" Analog Inputs and Outputs - already used sub 1 & 2 going in, coming out goes to channel 15 & 16
Optical 24-bit/96kHz S/PDIF In/Out (switchable to AES/EBU) - may get used for the PS2
Coaxial 24-bit/96kHz S/PDIF In/Out (switchable to AES/EBU) - what i would think could be tracked w/ a converter
MIDI In/Out - not gonna happen from what i've learned

I was thinking something like the Art DIO to just take my other two buses in and put them out of the DIO as digital outs?

4 x I/O (like the model number says 0404) which of 2 is analog I/O's and 2 digital I/O's.
This means --> 2 analog ins with that Mackie.
To input via SPDIF into 0404 --> you need a A/D Converter [Mixer -> A/D -> 0404]. The A/D can cost about the same another 0404 would cost.
My suggestion is to get a device with enough of I/O's so you get drums recorded properly as well (like you mentioned).
There are couple of low priced systems available with good amount of I/O's --> like

How many copies should I get before needing to replace printhead on a HP Officejet Pro 8500A??

My printer has started printing the first page of a document but the 2nd and subsequent pages are either only partially inked or blank. If I wait a few minutes between pages then I have a better chance of getting a good printed document. What could be wrong? I purchased new printheads less than a year ago and I would imagine I average maybe 75 printed sheets per month tops. I've tried cleaning the printheads a couple of times but that doesn't seem to make any difference. Any ideas?

I had a trial version that expired. Mine questions are;

There is a reason for trial versions. It is for you to try the software and to see if it works. It is NOT for you to finish your project. No second trials, sorry. Buy it!
