How many versions of java console do I need in extensions?

In extensions I have java consoles from 6.0.11 to 6.0.24. Can I remove the old old ones? Mike

You do not need any of them. They are not needed to run Java applets.

  • Report workload by calculating how many versions of SharePoint list items created in a certain time period

I have a total of 66 SharePoint 2010 lists - yes, 66! - each lists contains between 1500 and 3200 list items.  My employees update these various list items throughout their workday.  Each update to a list item creates a new version of the list
item.  On average each list item will have anywhere from 5 to 10 versions before it is done.  I need to create a report that tells me how many list items they've updated in a certain time frame.  I have come close but still cannot arrive at
    the data I'm looking for.
This is what I have so far:
I've created a report using SQL Report Builder 2008 v3 where I've filtered it to show only items MODIFIED between, for example, Feb1 and Feb28.  Of those records, I want the report to tell me how many versions were created during that time
frame.  The result is one list item with 5 total versions.  Versions 1.0, 2.0, & 3.0 were created on 12/12/14.  The last two versions, 4.0 and 5.0, were created on 2/24/15.  Therefore, the answer I'm looking for is 2 because they
    created 2 versions between Feb1 and Feb28.
However I get the following results using these queries:
If I do a =Sum(Fields!owshiddenversion.Value) in the expression field I get the total versions which is 5
If I do a =Count(Fields!owshiddenversion.Value) in the expression field I get the instance which is 1
Is there a way to count ONLY the number of versions created in a time period?  Is there another hidden field in SharePoint that I can use in the expression that will give me results I'm looking for?

    Hi Rafael70,
Per my understanding that you have already get all the need fields and informaiton of the updated version of list items and now you want to calculate how many versions of SharePoint list items created in a certain time period, you can't get desired result
using sum and count function, right?
I have tried to tested on my local environment but because I am not clear what is value in the field "owshiddenversion", I assumed you have two datatype parameters (StartDate and EndDate) to help filter the report in a certain time period.
Generally, if you have add the filter correctly, it will filter the correct number's updated version in this time period, I would like you to provide details information as below to help better analysis the requirements:
Could you please provide sample data of the table.
Please provide snapshot of the report structure you have currently designed.
Please try to provide all the expression you have used.
If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

  • How many package in Java 1.1?

Do you know, How many package in Java 1.1?

Idiotic question, so here's an idiotic reply:
    jar tf /path/to/java/lib/rt.jar |\
       egrep -v '^(META-INF|com/sun|sun)' |\
       sed -e 's/\/[^/]*$//' |\
       sort -u |\
       sed -e 's;/;.;g' |\
wc -lAnd if you change the last wc -l to more, you'll see the actual package names.

  • I looked in addons manager and I seem to have 5 versions of java console installed,do I need them all or can I disable all but the latest?

You can manually remove those; they were not properly cleaned up by Java when updating. See:

  • Should I "disable" the older versions of Java Console prior to version 6.0.24?

While exploring the new features of Firefox v4.0 I discovered, in the Add-ons Manager, that all of the previous versions of Java Console, back to v6.0.05, were still enabled. Should I disable all versions prior to the most recent?

I'm quite sure that it is not possible to extricate Java from MacOSX. When installed, bits and pieces of it go everywhere and to locate individual items and remove them is next to impossible.
That said, I believe it has been attempted, but whether successfully, I can't say.
Reason I know this is because I ran into problem with latest version of JRE on MacOSX machine operating as FileMaker server. Latest version of JRE caused java-based administration console to break.

  • How many versions of Rdr for windows

i'm wondering how many versions of Adobe reader there are for windows computers?  I have a license to distribute and when I go to download the latest copy the system asks me for what os - XP, Win7, vista, x64, x32 etc.  If one version will work for all these OSes that is what I want.  There should be no reason to have to download one for each OS unless there truly are differences.  So what is different???

If you have a license to distribute, you better go to the direct download location (without the download manager) http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.4.0/en_US/AdbeRdr940_en_US.exe
Or you can go to the FTP site ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.4.0/ and select the language version you want, as well as the installer type (EXE or MSI).
Flash Player comes in two flavors: ActiveX for Internet Explorer, and a plugin for all other browsers.  Find the appropriate downloads at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

  • How many Licenses of Acrobat Professional do I need for Adobe LC PDF Generator

    Hi,
At our customer site we have purchased 6 licenses of Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator and have recieved a license file with the keys for Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator and Adobe Acrobat Professional. We bought the license from a reseller of the product. We understand that the Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator is a server based software and needs 1 license per CPU. Each of our server (Dev, Val & Prod) have 2 CPU's so we have sufficient licenses (6). We are under the impression that this would suffice. How ever we are not sure on how many licenses we need for Acrobat Professional.
Here is a brief description of the way we would use Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator. We are deploying a PLM system and one of the requirement is to render Word documents to PDF so we are using PDF Generator for this capability. On our Adobe servers we will install Microsoft Word, Acrobat Professional V9 Extended and the Adobe Livecycle PDF Generator. We will have around 150 users for the PLM system being deployed. The PLM system is a Web based system which means the PLM application server will be running on a Solaris server in our case. As part of the workflows in the PLM system, at the end of the workflow process, the PLM server would trigger a request to the Adobe server to convert the word document to PDF. The Adobe server processess the request and returns the PDF file that gets generated.
Based on the above usage of the system how many licenses of Acrobat Professional do we need? We will be installing Acrobat only on the server where we install the Livecycle PDF Generator. We had a call with our purchasing person today and she cautioned us that for Adobe Acrobat Professional we might need 1 license per user of the PLM system. She has asked us to check this with the Vendor of the product. Somehow I don't think it makes sense to purchase so many Acrobat Professional licenses even though we install only once.
So can someone tell me How does the licensing for Adobe Livecycle PDF Generator work? How many Acrobat Professional licenses we actually need? Is it based on the number of users in the system that is triggering the request? Appreciate your response on this.
    Regards,
    Ragha

You really should talk to your Adobe Sales Rep about this.  There are all kinds of special deals, licenses and such for customers using LiveCycle.  (For instance the license for PDFG may include Acrobat licenses for certain uses).

  • How many components in Java

Hi, this is just a simple theory question. Is there one out there could tell me the answer. How many components are there in Java ?
    Thanks,
    choongteck

    grins
As many as are derived from the Component-Class plus 1 (for the Component-Class itself)?
Would you like to know the total number of classes or the number of instances of the classes? :)
    greetings Marsian

  • How many classes in Java?

    I'm new to Java.
Does anyone have a link or know the exact number of classes and methods in the java programming language that we use and their classifications (e.g. how many number of classes are used only for drawing rectangular objects on a form and the names of those classes)
I need to see ALL the possible classes and categories they apply to.
Is there a source I can access to view such information?
    Appreciated.

wow.... now about that zipped file with so many class definitions, maybe an extra strap and a java programmer to sit on the thing to prevent it from exploding.
    thanx for your help people.

  • How many versions do I need?

    Hi, please help.
I am a regular Windows XP user without any technical knowledge.
My computer has a number of Java versions under C:\Program Files\Java\ which, in total, use almost 0,50 GB.
I wonder if I need all of them. If not, do I keep only the last one? How do I know which one(s) I need?
And then, if I can uninstall any of them, how is it done? I can't see any uninstall file.
    Thank you. Appreciate your help,
    spj
    Just in case, the versions are jre1.5.0_01, _03, _04, _06, _09, _10, _11, plus
    j2re1.4.1_02 and 1.4.2_04

Some programs are written so that they require a certain Java version, most will work with the most current version. Only you will be able to make this determination for the programs that you have.
Unless you require older versions, the last one is adequate. Versions can be uninstalled using Windows' Add/Remove Programs applet. It's a good idea to remove in reverse order of the install order. If you uninstall all Java versions first, then it's safe to manually delete any leftover files or directories; then reinstall the newest Java.
