I have heard a lot of guys complain about the screen ghosting
And buring on and lg or Samsung how can I tell
By the way this MacBook Pro manufacturer February 2013
Does it have the same problem with the screen or not
ThanksKind of depends on your budget. The Macbook Air can be configured to match a lower end Macbook Pro in RAM and HD. Up to 8GB Ram and 512GB HD but will be a little more expensive.
If you need the extra storage and RAM, 1TB storage and 16GB RAM is the top of the line for the Mac Book Pro, then you should go for the Macbook Pro.
If 8GB RAM and 512GB HD is o.k for you, then you'll benefit from the Air's portability as its lighter and smaller.
All in all, I would if portability is really important, go for the Air, and just increase its RAM to 8GB. A small portable external Hard drive will compensate for the lack of internal storage. -

How to properly take care of a MacBook air 11 inch late 2010 refurbished
How do you properly take care of a apple macbook air refurbished late 2010 11 inch? It's working well now since I got it from a trusted website (apple) but anything can break? How do I make it live long if I have to use it everyday?
hariiyer wrote:
1.If someone hacks it
don't visit any questionable websites (i.e. torrent, adult entertainment)
2.if it breaks because something hard bumps into it
That may happen, just do your best to prevent it from happening. As suggested, you can purchase a case for it, but there is only so much someone can do to prevent an accident that will cause damage.
3.if you lay something on it
Don't do that.
4.What'll happen if you drop it
no one can predict whay may happen if you drop it. It may be fine, or it could result in a costly repair.
5.Openings that allow crumbs/water into it
Don't eat/drink around your mac. -

Does a usb cab to 60 Watt L-Tip Power Adapter charger for Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Charger exist
does a usb cable
does a Usb cable to60 Watt L-Tip Power Adapter charger for Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Charger exist? i have an external battery pack i would like to use to charge my iphone and macbook pro.Not that I am aware of. An Internet search on your part will be required. If you should find something to that effect, note it will not be endorsed by Apple and the magnetic connector will probably be in violation of Apple patents.

I called vodafone to unlock my iphone 4 by IMEI, they told me that now they are waiting the password from Apple, how many days are necesary for it? thanks
You don't say where you are but process is
Carrier approves your request to unlock ?
they instruct Apple to update their servers to release the lock which is activated via iTunes
Depends on how fast Vodafone work and how fast Apple update their servers
For you to activate you need to insert a non Vodafone sim and connect to iTunes
When Apple have updated you will get a message
"congratulations your iPhone is now unlocked " -

How many watts/amps is SD-R2412 and other toshiba slimline drives ?
How many watts/amps is this CD/DVD drive - SD-R2412 , and other toshiba slimline drives ?
i'm not quite sure which forum to post that question in.
I did find this link on the american toshiba site (or maybe from googling with site:toshiba.com)
http://sdd.toshiba.com/main.aspx?Path=HardDrivesOpticalDrives/CDCombination/SD-R2412/SD-R2412Specifications
But it doesn't say how many Amps is on the 5V line. If I knew that, i'd know how many watts. I'm interested in that.
And also for others.> Just a question; Why do you really want to know it?

Not a problem, I bought it now, and it won't be too many watts anyway, that was just my curiousity.
But just for your curiousity
i'm using a low watt power supply (small, noiseless). One model is 120W but a cheaper one is 60W.
fact is, a slim Cd drive will be fine. But still, since i've got a low watt psu, i'd like to know how many watts things are using. So if I wanted to plug in a regular hard drive, i'd know whether or not there's enough watts spare.
I have a device from maplin to measure. it's fine for when i buy the drive!
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=38343&doy=6m9&C=SO&U=strat15
"plug-in mains power and electricity monitor"
You can't stick so strongly to the label on the drive. For example..
Although I've found that CD drives are labelled as effectively 30W but use 25W at their max.
I've found that hard drives use far more than their label says!
One hard drive labelled as effecitvely 7W, used about 18W at one point.
And another labelled as effectively 13W used 27W at one point.
When I say ' labelled as effectively '.. I mean it says how many amps on each rail e.g. [email protected] [email protected], and I figure out the watts by multiplying and adding. P=IV (power = current * voltage). power measured in watts, current in amps, voltage in volts. -
I am connecting an external USB HDD and I can see it on my Apple Macbook Air. BUT this drive is READ only. How can I write to it?
Drive Partition and Format
1.Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Steps 4-6 are optional but should be used on a drive that has never been formatted before, if the format type is not Mac OS Extended, if the partition scheme has been changed, or if a different operating system (not OS X) has been installed on the drive. -
How can I download the latest Microsoft Office for my Macbook Air through the App Store?
How can I download the latest Microsoft Office for my Macbook Air through the App Store?
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Microsoft Office is not available in the App Store. Instead, you can purchase it in the Microsoft site > http://www.microsoft.com/mac
Note that there are other apps that do the same, like Apple iWork (available in the Mac App Store) or LibreOffice, open-source and free. I recommend you to give LibreOffice a try.
If you are interested in Office for Windows, you can find it in the Microsoft Store or at shops -
