How many wifi networks can an iPhone 4 remember?

As the title really, how many at one time can an iPhone 4 remember, and is there anyway of seeing a list of what it is remembering and then editing that list to delete wifi networks it remembers that no longer exist?

Settings App > General > Auto-Lock > set to time you want including Never Lock.

Since upgrading my 4s iPhone to the latest iOS , I now can not see many wi-fi locations beyond my home network. Friends can find and connect to many wifi networks yet my iPhone does not even see them. He just restored my mobile and asked me to leave. Again from last night i am experiencing the same issues in my phone.

If what you are saying is accurate that you are only using the iPhone for 2-2.5 hours a day, that doesn't seem to fall in line with "heavy use." I use my iPhone almost constantly throughout the day for email, browsing, phone calls, texting, games, etc. With my previous iPhone 5 I had problems with constantly having to reboot it and I went to the Apple Store, the genius ran a diagnostic app on it and said there would be no problem replacing it just based on app crashes. So really the big question will be is your iPhone still covered under a full warranty and are you able to reproduce any of the problems at a genius bar appointment?

I assume there is a limit based on the number of IPs available but is there a limit to how many times a WiFi network can be extended or is there a limit to how many Airport Extremes can talk to each other?

A remote WDS node is connected to a main or base WDS node wirelessly.
A base WDS node is connected by wire to the interenet.
A relay WDS node relays or passes the wireless signal from a base WDS node to a remote WDS node.
Clients connect to either the base or remote nodes. A relay node can be configured to accept connections from clients as well.
Also This reduction in half is this a limitation be design? Is this caused by the limit in channels or is there some sort or mechanism in place? just curious.
Think about how the remote WDS node needs to communicate with both the base station and the wireless client at the same time, so the available bandwidth is effectively halved as half is used by the remote to connect with the client and the other half is used to connect with the base node.
It's not quite the same as two wireless clients on an individual base station as they would rarely be using the full bandwidth at the same time.

If I am reading your question correctly, yes if there is no wifi
you can use 3G IF you have a contract with a wireless provider
and the appropriate SIM card if required. Being unlocked does not
give you access to 3G for free; you still have to pay for it. Same
for locked iPhone. Difference is that you would have to get contract
with whatever provider the iPhone is locked to if you have locked
iPhone; if iPhone is unlocked, you will have to make a choice from
your local providers.

Here's my set up now I have an airport extreme and one airport express that I use to carry audio to one room.

FWIW. I have used up to four AirPort Express Base Stations (AX) for streaming sucessfully in pretty much the way you have described. I didn't have a need to try more so I can't attest that more would or would not work.

...for some reason i can not get a wifi network on my iphone...we do have wifi at home my brother uses it for his ipad my sister uses it for her ipod touch and her iphone 4s my partner uses it for his ipod touch as well as for his playstation and i use it for my ipod touch but i can't use it for my iphone ...i took it telstra they said to do a backup and then a restore done that but still nothing happens..i think it might be a phone problem...

Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release the buttons...

If I have an Airport Extreme setup as a router and feeding internet from a modem/ I wire an express (A1392) and "create a wireless network" the airport utility puts the express into bridge mode automatically.

Generally two weeks for return but if this is a warranty issue you are covered for one year.
I'm not sure what you mean by "totters" but if you are not happy return it for a replacement.
