I am trying to upload PM Work orders using tcode IW31 but unable to do so. I have tried LSMW and now I am trying for BDC but still can't upload. Can anyone let me know what procedure do I need to perform for uploading DATA through IW31.

Hey
You can upload the data for creating a work orders through IW31/IW34.
IW31 is for Work Orders with out a Notification(In general) and IW34 is for Orders with Notification(Must)
So if you want to load Orders With Notification Then first we need to create a Notification in IW24 and then Order in IW34 with the Notification created at that point.
If you want to create Order with out Notification then Goto IW31 and then create it through BDC method.
There might be a scenario in which you can create a Order w/o Notification and with Notfication sometimes in IW31 Only.
Then at that point you need to goto IW31 and create a Order First and then Display the Order in IW33 and Click on Change from the top of the menu. It wil allow you to create a Notification from there(IW31) beside the Euipment field I remember.
You can try it with BDC. if you still have a problem in doing so. i will send the code.

There is no stanndard tool to upload Work schedules , we created opur won LSMWs to upload the DWS, PWS & Work Schedule rules from Excel for around 12,000 WSR.

how do upload the javascript files for the html edge animate banner to work in my Content Management System module. At present, the html cannot function because the reference javascript files are missing.

I am not very sure how the CMS manage their content but basically the javascript files need to be in the same folder as the HTML file for Animate content to play.

If you're using the BlackBerry browser, you can't configure anything to bypass the RIM servers. I believe you may do so by using the Opera browser, but I haven't tried it myself so cannot comment with authority.

Hi ,
To creae the Target Group for that BPs . You need to make a selection with their common Attribute value .
For Example :
You have a requirement to Target the Indian Customers then you create a Target Group like this .
Attribute values :
BP Role : Customer
Country : India
Select Attribute List : GL-ORG Master and Relationship Data
Attributes : BP Role : Filter value 'Customer '
Country : Filter value 'India '.
Select : AND Across All Attribute as logical selection .
Press Cntrl Key and select both the Attribute Values and drag to the staging area then you get the Customers in India .
This way you find out the Common Attribute values to the BPs you need to Target and create a Target Group and Use the TG for the report .

Mass Upload doesn't work

Hi everybody,
i am trying to upload user photos via mass upload iview. Therefore i create a folder (c:\photos). In this folder i have two files
a) mapping.properties.txt with the line: Anton=1011
b) 1011.jpg
I use the iView for Massupload from content provided by sap -> collaboration -> demo role -> iviews. I create a task with the following properties:
Task name:           Mappupload
Upload from Folder:           c:\photos
Photo type:           NORMAL
Apply checked conditions:      (no checked)
Use Mapping:           (checked)
After starting the task the photo was not updated and there was nothing in the application log!?
What could be the problem? I can add the file manually but not through mass upload.
Has anybody use a mass upload?

How to upload mass text data (note) on Service for Object

There are 2 long text fields on this screen about equipment
is Description and Intern.note which I can import long text by using LSMW tools.
But I need more fields to upload 3 kinds of text (are long more than 500
character), so I decide to use note on Service for Object as the image
show.
There are more than 5000 notes to upload into system , can you suggest or
teach me any way to do this task.

More information: As I know, those text I want to import will store in table SOOD (SAPoffice: Object definition) and SRGBTBREL (Relationships in GOS Environment)

Above speaks about uploading images but you will need to modify to upload text files, etc. Also, you need to be aware that if you use 'Service for Object', you are eating into the SAP Database space and is not a highly recommended approach.

Mass upload of BP into CRM

Hello!
I peform mass upload of BPs into CRM. I use FM BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA to create BP itself and BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD to save BP addresses and call these FMs in the same turn for each BP.
So, if I do that for 1-2 BPs, it works perfectly. All BP are saved in CRM with there addresses on COMMIT. As soon as the number of uploaded BP increases(between two commits), for example, up to 100, there is an error happens: E831(AM) in ADDR_MEMORY_SAVE.
As well as I understood, it happens because of address saving peformed before BP saving on commit. I tried first to save BPs only (with commit) and then their addresses, and it worked on mass upload without any error.
So, is there any idea about how to upload each BP with his address simultaneously without any error by mass upload?

You can upload millions of records using these function modules.Infact I am doing the same.
Make sure that the data structures,tables which are passed to the Function modules are cleared for each time and FM's should be in the below mentioned order.
BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA
BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD
BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.

Hi!
try using Purchasing Inforecord for this. in here you maintain master data linkage for Material Master and Vendor Master. You will just have to input the Material Number, the Vendor Account, and the Purchasing Org. In here you can maintain the PO text defaulted per Material Number. After the maintenance of Inforecord, the PO text will be reflected on the PO document.
Here is the ff Transaction Code:
- ME11 (Create Inforecord)
- ME12 (Change Inforecord)
- ME13 (Display Inforecord)
