How may I clear iCloud tabs? Somehow a webpage from several days ago got stuck in iCloud tabs and it won't leave.

Removing Tabs from the Tab list
To remove a tab from the list of iCloud Tabs, you must close that tab in Safari on the supported device that you used to browse that website. Quitting Safari, putting your Mac to sleep, or shutting it down will not remove the tab from the list. If you no longer have access to the device that that you used to browse that tab, the tab will automatically be cleared from the list after 7 days, if not updated.

You can't, Safari on iOS 5 on the iPad uses tabbed browsing. You can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe in a future update we'll get the choice of tabs or thumbnail/paged browsing : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
In the meantime I think that the (free) Opera browser and the iCab Mobile browser in the app store offer thumbnail browsing to some degree.

ICloud tabs for Safari work between Mac and iPhone 5 but not iPad 3

All my devices are signed in with my same ID account. My Mac and Iphone 5 are communicating just fine but my iPad 3 is not receving or sending its iCloud tabs. Safari is enabled in the iCloud setting on the iPad and private browsing is not enabled on any device. Whats wrong?

Try going to Settings>iCloud on your iPad and turning Safari Off, then back On.

I don't own any apple devices other than an iPad and I don't see anyway to back up open tabs on Safari other than iCloud. I can't figure out how to access these back ups on my PC laptop. I have lost all tabs from errors twice now and it really hurts so I need the best solution.

it's unclear what it is you want to accomplish
vpn mean virtuel private network which is a program/ protocol which tunnel across the internet providing what seems to the computer that it's present on another Local area network (such as works lan)
so it's unclear if you wish to access your mac from your pc while being connected to the VPN to your works network
or if you wish to connect your mac to your works lan using a vpn client on the mac
if the former then you can't access your home lan from your works lan that you connect to over vpn unless you setup a vpn on your local lan
but a quick search in google or app store for osx should give you some vpn clients for osx so you can connect your mac to your works lan if that is what you want

Recently I had to restore my iPad on iTunes and used a fresh iCloud backup.
At that moment, there were 4 tabs opened in Safari.
After restoring, my iPad has shown those tabs in iCloud Tabs without any opened tab on any device.

Well, are you sure? Accord to the new issue of MacLife, iCloud tabs should be working with Mountain Lion. Why would they say that if it is not true. When does ML X come out?
