Oh, so this is how it works. Okay, Hi all.
Old sys: G5 w/ 10.5, etc.
New sys: Mac Book Pro w/ 10.9
Quest.: How may I get functionality out of my documents and spreadsheets that I created on the old system, in the new system?
I'm just getting everything setup, but so far none of my old Appleworks 6 creations are able to open in Mavericks. Didn't really expect that they would, but I would really like to not have to try and recreate them. I'm currently trying to save them as other formats, but with no luck so far. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, most of what we can tell you is already stated in the message you are getting. A phone can only sync with one library at a time. You have apparently synced your phone with a different iTunes library in the past, or changes have been made to this library so the phone no longer recognizes it as the library with which it was synced. To know which you will have to provide the information.
If you bought them using the AppleID you use with this phone it may simply be easier to re-download them directly to the phone rather than sync them, though you will want to resolve that issue at some point.

How can i get footage from Canon XM 1(tape only) to FCP I have a PC that has firewire that works have loaded footage to Movie Maker and put it on a USB flash Drive put that into mac but cant convert it with MPEG clip stream as planed. Any thoughts? I thought second hand mac mini may do the job. Repair firewire £653.14

Without firewire, you cannot capture from that camera in FCP. It only works via firewire. So you need another computer or fix that firewire.
Your other method...seems ugly. Ads layers of compression that might make it look ugly.
Borrow a friends machine with FCP if you can.

Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.

Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.

Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

If the content is on an external drive, but your library knows where to find it, then it should all work. Connect your device, make some selections for what to put on it, and sync. Since both computers are connected via the network, you could simply copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from one computer to another via the network.
If both computers are running Windows, use the Easy File Transfer Utility built into Windows to move iTunes and all other user media/data.

Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

It is important not to allow your iPod to sync with an empty library. If it is set to synchronise automatically you will get a message saying your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to sync – it is important to press cancel as syncing with an empty library erases all music from your iPod.
You can also prevent auto sync by holding down shift & ctrl as you plug in your iPod and keeping the keys held down until the iPod appears in iTunes.
