How much bandwith does SBO need

I need to know how much bandwith the SBO clients needs ? Is there a document or table in SAP where it tells me these information ? Mostly these is for branch office and need these information (MS Terminal Server is not an option)

Hi
One of our client is using 1mbps dedicated tunnul, but the performance is not out standing. ofcourse there is other traffic flows in that band mainly the user signIN authentication required for domine
I would say citrix would do well in comparision

  • How much space does iTunes need?

    Hi!
When I drag my movies and TV-series into iTunes, the free space on my hard drive gets smaller. I understand that when I upload a movie on iTunes it makes a copy of the file. Is that correct? Can it be shut off so that iTunes will just stream the file or something instead of duplicating it? Otherwise I can't upload so many things
    /Jonas

iTunes lets you delete 'database entries' for media easily but will ask if yiou want to delete the media files too.
If the media files have copied to itunes and they still exist elsewhere delete them safe to let itunes delete the copies to free up space, then re-add from the external drive or wherever they reside after changing the setting as advised by Sgt. Pinback.
Ensure you have backups and depending on system don't rush to empty Trash or Recycle Bin until you're happy.
So in essence you need to delete the copies from itunes, the re-add the files by reference (rather than copying).

  • HT2736 how much time does it need to arrive to the email?

i sent my brother an album as a gift on iTunes.
is it possible to make it arrive now? i put today's date as the arrival date.
so, is there a certain hour that the gift arrives to the email?

    Hello,
Any sales-person (or any person for that matter) that provided metrics of such things should not be trusted.
You can not take something and apply a static/fixed measurement to something that has varying values.
Maybe the Network is Slow and running at 128kbs versus 1GB .... How are we to know how fast your network is?
Maybe the database has 10 instances running on it at 95% utilization .... How are we to know that?
Maybe you have a 10k SCSI drive, versus a 15k SCSI drive for data .... How are we to know that?
Too many variables that can function at different speeds to respond.
    Thank you,

  • How much UNDO does a query need?

It seems that due to a gigantic delete, I am running out of UNDO. How can I see exactly how much undo a query needs?
Searching on the web, I found this:
    select sq.sql_text sql_text, t.USED_UREC Records, t.USED_UBLK Blocks, (t.USED_UBLK*8192/1024) KBytes from v$transaction t,
    v$session s,
    v$sql sq
    where t.addr = s.taddr
    and s.sql_id = sq.sql_id
    and s.username = 'blah'
, which is fine, but it seems to be returning results for only running queries. In other words, when the delete query I am investigating is executed, the above select returns no rows. Is there a way to modify it to return also queries that have been executed?
    Any help is welcome.

    Hi,
It seems that you need to make an outer join between v$sql and v$session views [s.sql_id = sq.sql_id(+)] ... For more information is if this [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=1756927&#1756927]thread can help you.

  • How much sound does a RMBP make

I'm planning on getting my first Mac. The $2,799 MacBook Pro with retina display 15". I have a student discount so it will be $2,599 instead.
I am going to wait for the next generation of MacBooks to be released, also I have a question about its sounds. Will it make a lot of sound like fan noises? It needs to be COMPLETELY silent. Because I will be using this next year in class when I'm a sophomore. And does the keyboard make any noise either? Thanks!
Also, if I get something like "it depends on what you are doing" here are some examples.
5-7 tabs open and a text editor for notes, some system settings and misc things. No gaming.                   How much sound does this make?
    Thanks in advance!

I have one and it is totally silent, unless I am mirroring video to my tv, then the fans kick on.
For example, I routinely have ten or more tabs open and it is silent. Video or video editing may make the fans be audible. The keyboard is quiet.
I am a low income person who loves the retina display. It makes ordinary photos seem professional. The extra size from the 13" is useful.
Best to play with the choices at an Apple Store to check out your preferences, if possible.
Text on the retina kind of spoils me for any other computer.

  • How much electricity does an Airport Express use (approximately)?

How much electricity does an Airport Express 802.11n use (approximately)?
Is turning it off at night to save money a good idea or a bad idea?

That's exactly the data I needed to know.  Thank you very much!
I was concerned because the Express is always quite warm, which sometimes can mean big energy bills.......
    tronchaviones wrote:
I've just measured it using a digital wattmeter, and it draws 4 watts when idle. This means about 3 kWh/month, or 0.60 €/month (at my current 0.20 € / kWh), so it is not the culprit of my huge energy bill...
Surely it is not worth the hassle of unplugging it everyday, with the accelerated ageing it causes to the device.

  • How much time does a single transmission take?

    Hello,
I was wondering what is the time taken to transmit one sample takes. For example, if the sample interval is 5 seconds, does the actual transmission take 10ms? What does it do for the rest of the time?
Also, how much energy does a 3202 node take to transmit a single sample?
    Thanks,
    Sravan

    Hey Sravan,
I wanted to provide some additional details to Kyle's post above.
This is on average what we have seen with a 3212 node sampling at a 60 second sample interval:
    Sleep Duration: 58.774 seconds
    Sleep Power: 7.41 mJ
Acquisition Duration (All 4 channels): 1150 ms
    Acquisition Energy: 2.84 mJ
    Transmit Duration: 55 ms
    Transmit Energy: 9.17 mJ
    Receive Duration: 21 ms
    Receive Energy: 1.83 mJ
Additionally, if your sample rate is above 61 seconds, then you will run into the Heartbeat Interval which fires after every 61 seconds of inactivity.  Below are average power measurements for the heartbeat interval:
    Transmit Heartbeat Duration: 55ms
    Transmit Heartbeat Energy: 7.79 mJ
Note: Each heartbeat will then also need to account for receiving that a response from the gateway (Receive information from above).
Taking all that into account, the graph below shows estimated battery life for sample intervals up to 300 seconds.  The dips in the graph represent a sample interval that is just larger than the heartbeat interval, which essentially means you are transmitting twice in a very short period.
Hopefully you find this information helpful.  Please let me know if I can clarify anything for you.

  • Buying a new iMac... how much power do I need to run GarageBand well?

    Hi All
I am about to get a 27" iMac but am weighing up the options for the processor and memory (and maybe hard drive too). Neither my wife nor I are into gaming or high end graphics stuff, so we do not need an i7 with 16GB ram... but is the bassline 27" iMac powerful enough to run GarageBand with no problems?
I have not really used it much before as our laptop is about 6 years old and it really struggles running GB, hence I have not been keen. However as I am a musician and am about to get a new computer... I am keen to find out just how much power I'll need.
At this stage, I want to play around with GB and dop some aranging, not sure how many tracks this will end up equating to as my experience grows... but unless I really get into it, I am unlikely to progress to Logic or similar... but if I did, would I need more than the baseline?
So in short... do you guys think the 27" iMac i3 with 4GB RAM will cut it for someone who is getting started but wants to spend a reasonable amount of time in GB? Why/why not?
    Thanks

In order to fully understand what you just said to me... I had better find out what an 'Addictive Drum AU' is. I am quite teh newbie when it comes to digitally recording, either from a real instrument or a virtual one.
I am assuming that the Addictive Drum is fairly intense when it comes to the CPU? Are there many other virtual instruments that are hard on the CPU? For an average user I am assuming this will not pop up to often, correct?
Garageband is not a 'closed system' in that you are stuck with what it offers. You have the option to use 3rd party software to enhance your productions. AU stands for Audio Unit, a coding standard around which many 3rd party developers use to integrate with Mac products. As you develop your own habits and tastes with your productions, you might decide that the options GB offers you are not to your liking. This is where these sorts of products come in. They are very easy to use with GB. Addictive Drums is a Drum program that is actually lightweight on your system compared to others. The only reason I had 8 instances (one loaded on 8 individual MIDI tracks) was because of a limitation GB has. It suited my workflow to do it this way.
There is a huge range of AU's available, Native Instruments being a company that does a very good set of products. Some are indeed very CPU intensive, others are not. You have to do your research by asking questions on various forums and seeking reviews etc.
The term 'Average User' really means nothing in my honest opinion. Depending on your preferred genre of music and how you go about hooking into this slippery slope of hobby home recording, you may bump into a variety of limitations either in GB itself or limitations because of your machine. Because RAM is easily replaced by the owner and hard drives are easily obtained for extra storage, CPU is the thing your are stuck with from day one. Programs are getting bigger and they are relying on lots of number crunching. Amp simulations are a good example of CPU intensive software. It is easy to find yourself spending $60 here and $99 there on all sorts of cool Software, and before you know it you have quite the quiver full. I am not a heavy GB user, in that I don't run 30+ tracks on my projects. I am a 12-16 track average user most of the time. However, the reason I upgraded to my iMac recently was because I had one piano AU, yes just one, that stopped my 2 year old macbook in its tracks when using another recording program. I had all the RAM that GB could use, an excellent hard drive and a very good sound card, but the computers lack of grunt made working with it tedious and sometimes frustrating. You more than likely have a budget to work with when getting your machine. The advice I would give any personal friend who was getting their first computer for recording is to get the most CPU you can for your budget. You could be staring at this machine for the next 4-6 years. Typically RAM and hard drives get cheaper over time should you need them, relatively small prices to pay in the long run.

  • How much ram does the iPhone 6 Plus have?

How much ram does the iPhone 6 Plus have?

This is what I got on the info....
IPhone’s RAM has been very little, even pitiful compared to other flagships. Now 1GB RAM is still the standard configuration for the current iPhone 5 / 5s and iPhone 6.
Is Apple’s system optimization can really never need to increase the memory capacity? Obviously the answer is no. Recently, GSMArena published a sheet of iPhone 6 Plus detailed specifications, we can clearly see the “2GB RAM” in the memory list.
GSMArena also posted the benchmark score for iPhone 6 yesterday, but we seen that A8 GPU not seem to improve a lot in the processing capability compared to A7 – only increased 4.65%.
Apple usually not declare the detailed hardware parameters of their products, because those indicators not have too many advantages compared to other similar products, and even looks a bit shabby. But for Apple, these are not the most important, the company always focusing on the overall performance and user experience of the product. iPhone 6 Plus is the largest ever. Apple has said the iPhone 6 Plus screen reached 1080P in the event, as a larger screen means more resource consumption, and the processor needs to handle higher pixel image, so increasing RAM is the best choice to enhance stability and performance.
So based on the above evidence and our speculate, iPhone 6 is indeed possible with 2GB RAM. If in doubt, all we could wait is finding out the truth after dismantling the device. Course this just may be a beginning, we also expect Apple can give more memory for the upcoming next-generation iPad and iPad Mini.

  • How much space does iOS takes?

    Dear Apple Support Community,
I want to know how much space does the iOS takes (installed) on a default iPhone 4 for all it's versions (eg. latest iOS 3, latest iOS 4 and iOS 5).
Watching the 2011 WWDC keynote on iOS 5, you will see a handful of new functionalities being added that will take the user experience even further, which is great!
But if you have minimum technical background, you know that more features means more lines of code, and this WILL take some extra space on your device. Also, iOS is an ever-changing product distributed over the web, but the iPhones have always the same hard-fixed ammount of storage space (only changes if you buy a new device).
This is what I'm looking for:
    iOS 3.5.1 -> 1,2 Gb
    iOS 4.3.3 -> 2,1 Gb
    iOS 5.0.0 -> 2,9 Gb
** those are fictitious values, most probably not the actual ones **
Important: I'm just curious about it, I don't find this being a big issue as 16 or 32 gb of space is pretty much. Even if the OS takes 2~3 gigs out of it, there's still plenty space for everything you need on the go.
    Thank you very much!!

    Something like 660MB, apparently:

  • How much space does MacBook Air OS and software take up?

    Greetings,
I am looking to replace my aging 2008 MacBook with a new MacBook Air.  I want to get the 11 inch model most likely with the 128GB of storage.   I will use it mostly for email, web surfing and other light duty work.
While I don't intend to load it up with various software, I will probably put a half dozen peices of software on it, over and above the Apple software it comes with. But, no biggies like PhotoShop.    My question is this:
About how much space does the Apple OS and the assorted Apple software that comes standard take up?
I cannot spend a lot and would like to avoid buying the bigger drive if possible.
    Thanks.

new from box it will have 121 GB available.
I cannot spend a lot and would like to avoid buying the bigger drive if possible.
Thats a bad working premise, no computer is a data storage device.  You dont need a huge SSD, just an external HD for data backups and for putting tons of big media files on.
128GB is plenty for almost everyone,  IF they know very very simple rules of drive management.

  • How do I know how much iCloud storage I need?

How do I know how much iCloud storage I need?  I bought 10 GB and it said not enough, I bought 25 GB and it still says not enough.  I'm only backing up Contacts, Calendars, Photo Stream & Find my iPhone.

Are you sure it's storage on icloud that you're getting messages about, and not your device.  If your device's memory is getting full, try deleting video, photos (after syncing them to a computer - but you should always be doing that), and any other large files and try doing whatever you were doing that led to those errors/warnings.
It would also help if you told us exactly what operation(s) led to the warnings.

  • G4 - how much power does it use?

How does the computer use power? It's not like a heavy duty motor in a refrigerator, a shop vac., heater or power tools...
How much power does a powermac G4 consume, on average...in terms of dollars added to a monthly bill? I see on the back of the Mac that it's rated at 6 to 8 amps, but I can't understand how it can suck up that much electricity when all I hear is the fan, basically.
I use it for video editing, so if remove internet, and most other programs that might use power, except for apps needed for video, photoshop and text edit, would I save at all?
    thanks!
    k

...so if remove internet, and most other programs that might use power, except for apps needed for video, photoshop and text edit, would I save at all?
Hardware, not software, uses power. One heavy-duty program may demand more of the hardware than another but most--pro audio/video editing and some 3D games excepted--never force the hardware to work up a sweat on modern machines.
There is a current tester that clamps around the main power cord of anything electrical to read power consumption. I can't find the link to it right but it is standard piece of kit for electricians. My appliance guy's tool bag has sported one as long as I've known him. If you REALLY need to find out hard numbers, that's the way to go; be aware that the tester I saw on the 'net was US$100--you could run a G4 a long time for $100.

  • How much Ram do I need in a MacBook Pro for Software Engineering?

I plan to buy a new MacBook Pro in the next month for school and hopefully for work. I would like this computer to get me at least 4 years of use. I will be majoring in software engineering. My question is how much ram would I need in a Macbook Pro for software engineering? I am currenty looking at the 15" 2.3ghz base model with 8gb of ram as well as the 15" 2.4ghz base model retina. I really like the retina but its at my max budget. Will the 8gb of ram be enough since it is not upgradable? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am currenty looking at the 15" 2.3ghz base model with 8gb of ram
The MB Pro 15" 2.3Ghz with 8GB of RAM should do the trick.
Save your $$$ on the retina and stick to your budget
