I have the 2nd generation ipod touch (i think) and i was wondering how much it costs to upgrade it to the new one?

You would have to pay the full cost of the new one.  There is no "upgrade".
Is there an upgrade for any oter music player/computer/device?
Apple will recycle your old ipod for you and give you a 10% discount on a new one.

    The performance bottleneck for your MBP is the hard drive.
    You will see significant improvements in overal performance by upgrading the HD to a SSD.
    Btw, Apple is not in the business of upgrading your existing MBP. Apple rather you buy a new MacBook Pro.
    In all fairness to Apple, the 2011 MBP quad-core is almost twice as fast as the 2010 MBP dual-core for multi-core aware applications.

    I think it's just a little over $200 if you don't have an older version to upgrade. Around $100 if you do.

    Hi, in my opinion it's best to use that laptop as is and upgrade next year. On top of that the cpu is running at 1.6Ghz which isn't very fast.
    Nonetheless, there are a few 4GB sticks for laptops. Not all laptops dimm slots support 4GB in each but yours does and that's a good thing. Only downside to this ram stick is the price. Very expensive.

    Oh yes, I have done that all ready, even tried to do the safe mode.
