I have unlimited 3G access on my iPhone.
Using FaceTime, will it cost like a normal phone call or will no additional costs apply?
Either way, when connected to wifi, it is for free?

Currenty, FaceTime only works over WiFi, so it has no impact on the plan from your carrier, and thus is "free", if your WiFi connection is free. When iOS 6.0 is introduced, FaceTime will be able to be done over 3G. This will use your carrier data plan. Note: carrier support for FaceTime, over 3G, is required in order to be able to FaceTime over 3G. In other words, even though you have "unlimited data", you carrier still must support FaceTime over 3G.

Here's the deal.
Wifi is in and of itself, only an extension of an existing service.
So, if you have DSL/Cable at home, you hookup a wireless router to make your existing service wireless.
Now...some coffee shops/malls/airports, etc. have free wireless.
In that case, you pay nothing at all.
In the case of the first example, you're already paying for internet.
You don't have an EXTRA cost when using wifi, but the cost of the internet already exists.
So...maybe more confusing, but the bottom line is that if you already have internet at home, you only need a wireless router, and there's no extra cost for using it wirelessly.
Wifi is not generally free and available like a cell phone network (yet)

If you have v12.0.013 software on N95 there is cents cost each time A-GPS feature is used (1-3kb upstream and 2-5kb downstream). Also for a full search to address level an active connection either WLAN or Network is needed with possible download data costs involved.

Labview isn't cheap, but it would certainly allow you to build a program (set of vi's - virtual instruments) that would do what you describe. Where would the timecode information come from? Your vi, or program, would: Start up, initialize the serial port, loop until a trigger happened, read the timecode (from where?), output that timecode out the serial port in a loop until you pressed the stop button. There is a free evaluation of Labview software available from NI - the base product itself runs about $995.

What MichelPM suggested is the SAFEST solution. Firefox is a better browser than Safari, and you will not be faced with any potentially crippling consequences of a full OS update.
You will presumably have to update your system at some point, and you should prepare for that by maintaining a full, up-to-date backup of your current main system on an external hard drive. You can use SuperDuper ($25) or Carbon Copy Cloner (the legacy version, 3.5.7) to clone your current system to an external drive. This drive will be bootable and will provide you will a safety net if you decide to install Yosemite at some point.

ePrint is a free feature include on most of our wireless printers that are e-all-in-one enabled. It allows you to register your printer on HP's website http://www.eprintcenter.com and create an account. Once an account has been created you can enable the web services feature, after connecting to a valid network with internet access, which will print off a registration code you can use to add the printer to your account and customize an email address for the printer. This allows you to print to the printer from virtually anywhere simply by sending an email to the printers email address and when it is received it will print.
Most of these printers are also Airprint enabled meaning you can print locally from the same network on the iPad, iPod, and iPhone (version 4.3.2 and higher) by using the built in "Print" command in the idevices.

Hi, in my opinion it's best to use that laptop as is and upgrade next year. On top of that the cpu is running at 1.6Ghz which isn't very fast.
Nonetheless, there are a few 4GB sticks for laptops. Not all laptops dimm slots support 4GB in each but yours does and that's a good thing. Only downside to this ram stick is the price. Very expensive.

You have to be the judge of whether it is cost effective to you. You can backup all of your app data with iTunes or iCloud and restore from the backup if you get a new iPad - and then all of your data and game saves should be restored. You should not lose your in-app purchases either as they are stored in the backup.
If you have had an iPad for almost 3 years, I would hope that you have been backing up all along. If you sync with iTunes all of you apps and other media are stored in there, and iTunes has been backing up your iPad when you sync. Paid content can be downloaded again for free (in most cases) as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought it with.
