Since Unlimited US and Canada subscription is not available anymore, and Unlimited World subscription is the only better choice for now. Would the price be the same if I pay for Unlimited World subscription for 12 months at once? The old price for Unlimited US and Canada 12 months was $30.48
If not, then how much is Unlimited World subscription 12 months?

Unable to sign up for unlimited world trial month

I was trying to sign up for the unlimited world trial account, but it says that it already expired or signed up on a different account. How can it expire if I didn't sign up yet, and I only have this account? I read that the offer is not available for some countries, including China. So is the problem because I signed up for Skype while I was in China? But I live in a different country now, which is not excluded from this offer, so I don't see why there is a problem.

Urgent HELP with Unlimited World subscription rene...

Hi Skype gurus,
Is there any way i can contact the Skype team to run the auto debit for Unlimited World subscription again ?
I guess when the auto debit happened last time there was not enough money on the account,
Now i transferred some one to the nominated accout to have my subscription renewed, and i really don't want my Unlimited World subscription to get cancelled i have been using it for years.

Failed to call Kenya number with Unlimited world subscription, ask for credit?!!

Hi, Anyone has the same situation?
I just opened an account and added Unlimited world subscription, with credit card information filled and so on.
Tried to call a Kenya (South Africa) land line number, but it failed me, and asking for credit to call the number.
HOW CAN IT BE?

Unlimited World 12 month subscription automatic re...

Last year I got a 15% discount for my 12-month Unlimited World subscription.
This year it was automatically renewed at the full price.
But when I look today, the 15% discount is still available if I manually buy a new subscription.
So why did Skype automatically renew me at the highest possible price?
It's ridiculous that the discount is not given in the automatic renewal, if the discount is available for manual renewal.
I inquired with Skype chat support and they said that during my automatic renewal there was no discount available. This is just criminal! Why would there be discount last year and today, but not during my renewal a few days earlier?
I asked to make a complaint and chat support said I have to write a physical letter to their office in Luxembourg. Which is even more ridiculous.

None of these prices reflect an exact 15% differential.

Hi i recently purchased the 'Unlimited World 1 month' package from Skype for $13.99 but I have been unable to make use of this subscription as it keeps telling me to put more 'credit' in my account. This has been a frustrating time as I do not understand why I need credit when I have a subscription??! As a result, I was unable to make a business call yesterday and trying to speak to someone is also like looking for Kryptonite because it seems as though it is not possible. I do not know how to activate this package or whether I have to do something differently, but I want the service that I paid for to work.. and NOW!! Please help me out ASAP!

First of all, you can verify that you have the subscription enabled on your account. Log into your Skype account from this web site (use the "Account" link at the top of this page). When you log in, you will see the subscription(s) that you have. If it is not there, you will want to contact Skype Support and see why you don't have what you paid for. Skype's apps on mobile phones and portable devices (i.e., tablets/iPads) don't normally show the subscriptions, so the web site is probably the best way to confirm that.
If you have the subscription, and Skype is still asking you for Skype Credit to place that call, you are calling a phone in a location not covered by the Unlimited World subscription. Even with that name, it only covers calling to phones in about 40 countries. Of those countries, it covers calling to landline and mobile phones in 8 of those. For the others, it only covers calls to landline phones. Also, calls to special numbers in many countries (like 0844/0845/0870 numbers in the UK, 13 or 1300 numbers in Australia, to name a couple) are never covered by Skype's subscriptions. Those always require Skype Credit.
Please click on "Subscriptions" below and look closely at the Unlimited World subscription listed there. You'll see a link that shows the countries - and the types of phones for those countries - that the subscription covers.

I have the solution you guys. After much fussing and huffing and puffing I figured it out.
For some reason, Skype on the Iphone recognizes numbers inputted into the 'Call Phones' section of the app as needing credits even when you have an active subscription for 'Unlimited World'. Here is the workaround.
Sign in to the Skype account with your subscription first.
1.Click on the 'People' Button on the bottom left corner of the app
2. You should now be at the 'Lists' screen. If not, go back by tapping the arrow on the top left.
3. Click on 'Saved Phone Numbers'
4. Click on the little person with a plus sign icon on the top right.
5. Click on 'Save a phone number' when the pop up tab shows up.
6. Type in the name and the FULL phone number with the country code in the designated areas.
7. Hit 'Save'
8. You are done! You can now tap this number and hit 'Voice Call' to call.
9. Repeat for other phone numbers you might need.
You should now be able to call these numbers with your Subscription from your Iphone with no hitch.

Hi thx for your suggestion, Frustratedskyp3, but how do we go about signing in our skype acct "under our subscription" ?? The only optioin i know how to sign up under my Skype acct the usual way: username and password. I'm using my iPhone and nexus 7 tablet. I'm getting to reach cell phones in Mexico, we which is supposed to be included with the Unlimited World plan.... I'm no on the plan as I did not want to keep spending the $15/mo when I couldn't figure out how to use it! It always forced me to add minutes ($4.99)... Can some one help???
PS - I have an iphone 4s.
