I know that in USA, for FICO consultants the rate per hour is in the range of 100 -150 dollars per hour. Will a GRC consultant get more than this or less?
There is a qualification called CISA. Is this GRC anyway realted to this?
Is a GRC consultant involved in SOC compliance?What does he exactly do?

Untill the administrator doesn't specify QUOTA or grant UNLIMITED TABLESPACE to user Oracle account doesn't have available space in any tablespace, event in default:
SQL> create user new_user identified by new_user

How to get asm diskgroups read/writes per hour or day

we have 2 production databases sitting on same server (2 node RAC) and using the same ASM disk groups.
we have been having issues since past 2 days where we see lot of I/O from one of the dabase .
I was asked to provide the disk I/O stats from past 1 week.
wondering how can I get this information either from v$asm_disk_iostat (which gives overall usage but no timestamp) or from grid control (like host disk I/O usage )

Try this :
ASMCMD> iostat -t -G diskgroup 5
In 11G release 2 ASMCMD has a iostat feature that allows you to list the reads and writes per disk (either as I/O operation or bytes)
iostat [-et][--io] [--suppressheader] [--region] [-G diskgroup] [interval]-e display error statistics (write/read)
-t display time statistics giving the total I/O time in hundredths of a second (requires TIMED_STATISTICS to be true)
-G diskgroup
interval – repeat the command every X seconds

Some useful info would be:
What generation is it?
How old is it?
If it's older than the 3rd generation, then the battery may have run its course (or iOS 4.3 is taking a toll on the battery).
If not, then you might have some issues leaving the wi-fi on and fetching data as well as running apps in the background that abuse location services and notification. Make sure those are off, or only running when necessary. If you see a small arrow in the top right corner (that isn't the music "Play" arrow), then you are currently running a location based service that can drain battery.
Also check your brightness settings, these can really pull battery life.

Apple's Maps app uses vector graphics, so it doesn't have to download data everytime your view changes, & also has an offline mode...you can download quite a large area over WiFi & then use this cache to navigate.
So, I really wouldn't worry too much about its data usage. Most tests I've read indicate it uses about 80% less data than Google Maps.

Hi, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I want to know how much work it is to get a Sharepoint developer to add a link to the callout above, e.g. at the top level near OPEN SHARE, or in the sub menu would also be fine. The link would open the selected document in our application which can open
TIFF / PDF and other image files. The link could say "Edit this document in MyApp", or "View this document in MyApp" as examples. We would need to provide this in a modular way, so that customers could optionally deploy it to their own
sharepoint site. A possibility, if the customization is not a big job would be to write a document with details on how to customize the Sharepoint site to achieve this. I'm not sure if Sharepoint has a more intuitive way of sharing this type of customization,
e.g. as an App package.
Any idea how much work is involved approximately in developer hours?
And is there any terminology I could have described better above?
My apologies, I don't have any experience with Sharepoint but we have a requirement to integrate our software with it.

How much bandwidth does iChat audio chat use?

I have a friend who has a broadband connection via a 3G/Edge cell phone connection in Europe. She has to pay for bandwidth in chunks of 500mb. Anyone have any idea how much bandwidth audio chat uses on an hourly basis.

It's complicated by how much data you can send in Video with Audio or Audio only or text chat and by what rate then can accept it.
iChat normally sends Audio chats at about 25kbps up to about 48kbps
After that is a question of ding the math.
This will give the rate that is th Max. What you will not know is how much of that is actually data measured as Download over the service.

What's the best way to see how much IO my disks are doing every hour / every day? I'm trying to get a sense of how much activity my SSD drives are actually doing.

You might also look into iostat. I just came across it on a blog post, so I don't really know much about it. It's part of the sysstat package.

Vendor Payment Analysis - How much is paid/ how much to pay ?

                        I am trying to work on Vendor payment analysis where i have to identify how much amount has been paid to a perticular vendor and how much is to be paid analyzing the PO information. I also know that for a perticular vendor the PO created will either hit a cost centre (hardware vendor) or a wbs ( service provider or consulting vendor) .
      If someone has worked on it and give me some suggestion it will be great help.
   I have identified that i can use 2LIS_02_ACC-Purchasing data account level for getting PO header and item detail but here how will i identify Open and closed POs.Is there a flag field please let me know
Similarly can i use New gl ledger 0FI_GL_14 to identify which are open PO and which are closed. I would also like to know if these 2 datasoruces be able to fulfill my needs.

                                     For the valuable information.One last question related to the scenario is about reporting based on Cost centre and WBS element for a vendor. A PO for a perticular vendor will either hit a cost centre(hardware vendor) or a wbs (consultants for a project) element based on product/ or services offered by the vendor.
I was thinking of using below mentioned extractors :
Cost Centre : 0CO_OM_CCA_9 ( Actual Costs Using Delta Extraction)
WBS element : 0CO_OM_WBS_6( Actual Costs Using Delta Extraction)
WBS Elements:0CO_OM_WBS_7( Commitment Line Items)
WBS Elements: 0CO_OM_WBS_8(Budget Line Items)
BUT Problem with these extractor is it has vendor information but no PO related to those vendors. How should i solve this issue ?

OK, serious answer: You've already answered that yourself.
You just need to do the formula:
(total annual take home pay you want or need + total annual
expenses) / #
billable hours you work a year = your hourly consultant rate
The two things to keep in mind:
1) List ALL expenses (tax liability, insurance, office, car,
software,
hardware, paperclips, etc, etc, etc)
2) don't think you'll be billable 40 hours a week as an
independent. You
have to account for marketing time, networking, office
management, vacation,
etc.
