Perpetual products which use serial numbers are platform specific. You will not be able to use the same serial on a windows machine.
In order to use Photoshop on both Windows and Mac you will have to go for a creative cloud subscription.

Tools Panel missing in Photoshop CS6 for Mac

I have been using Photoshop CS6 for Mac for about 6 mths. now. When I opened it yesterday to work on some photos, I noticed that my tools panel that is always located on the left side of my screen had disappeared. I have been unable to locate it anywhere. Also, the top of my photoshop page looks different. Any assistance that I could get would be greatly appreciated.

I Want to Buy Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Mac - NOT Creative Cloud

I just bought a new iMac and I would like to buy Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. I am NOT interested in the monthly subscription for Creative Cloud, so please don't even try and sell that to me. I was told by the place I bought my new iMac that Adobe would still sell me Photoshop CS6 if I contacted them. Since I was unable to find a phone number to call, I thought I would try my luck on this forum. Again, I was told that Adobe would send me a link or something like that where I can buy and download Photoshop CS6. Since my new iMac does NOT have a CD/DVD-ROM drive, I would only be able to download the software. I understand that the monthly subscription for Creative Cloud is the newest way of using Photoshop, but I am not interested in that at all. I would greatly appreciate any and all assistance with this matter. Thank you for your time and I anxiously await a response.

Apple issued a new product iMac with Retina 5k display on 18 Oct, 2014 on market . This display has a high resolution of 5120*2880. I want to know:

Can Canon full size photo that is 5760*3840 show at this 5120*2880 screen ? If yes, That means more detail can be seen than any monitors used before.

CS6 is not going to be discontinued, as a result of the revolt caused by the Cash Cow subscription mode.
Questions are asked—and answered—everyday on this forum. Do a forum search and you'll find out how to download older trial versions. They are no longer sold by Adobe of course. Resellers may still have them and sell them legitimately.

Can I upgrade from Photoshop CS5 on a PC to Photoshop CS6 for the Mac. I have purchesed an iMac and am awaiting delivery.

In theory you should be able to just pick your PC version during the purchase process and indicate that you want a Mac upgrade, but in teh mess surrounding the CC release and CS6 becoming second classed, it may indeed be necessary to order by phone.

Hi all, I am running Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leapard) on a Mac Pro Dual Core Intel Xeon with 2.66 GHz and 3 GB RAM.
I have tried to install Photoshop CS6 from the purchased disc and again from a downloaded trial version from Adobe. Both having the exact same install errors issue. I still have CS4 loaded since I wish to run with this suite for a while before I fully switch to CS6
