Okay I was searching for this on Web and in Here and got multiple answers. Far as I can tell a 2 year contract termination fee is about $175.00 and I have 9 months left on my contract. I also read you they deduct a certain amount $5.00 ? for each month of your contract that you have paid. So I guessing it would be about $100.00 + anything I owe for the Billing Cycle?

Budone is correct in saying that the early termination fee is $350.00 for all Smartphones and it is decrease by $10.00 for every month you complete of the contract. The cancellation fee will deduct to a minimum of $240.00 for a 1 year contract and $120.00 for 2 year contracts. Without looking at your account I am unable to provide an exact amount for the early termination fee

Keep in mind it would have to be less than 2 months for it to be $130. If you have exactly 2 months left on your contract and you cancel your line, you would not yet have completed 22 full months which would bring your ETF up to $140. When you have completed 22 months of your contract, that means you are in the first day of the 23rd month, so you actually have LESS than 2 months left on your contract. It is not how much is LEFT on your contract before the end, but how much you have completed. If you have only completed 21 months and 29 days, Verizon still considers you to have 3 months left on your contract for ETF purposes.

Verizon usually has a 14-day return policy and a 14-day period for terminating service without an Early Termination Fee. But I see that Verizon has extended their return policy right now - according to http://www.verizonwireless.com/ReturnPolicy.shtml, it says:
"Purchases made between November 15 and December 28, 2011 may be returned or exchanged through January 15, 2012."
Does that mean the 14 day period for the Early Termination Fee got extended too? What if you bought an iPhone 4S on November 16 and want to return it on December 19? Will they refund the phone without charging the ETF? Or will they refund the phone but charge you the $350 ETF?

If without damage, you return your phone and you will pay your bill, a $35 restocking fee and be on your merry way.

We have a family plan and want to switch to sprint. I need to know the early termination fees. 1 phone is a samsung reality. The second phone use to be a samsung reality but was recently broke and switched to a motorola Razor (not sure if we would pay the smartphone termination fee or regular phone termination fee). both have served 16 months of their 24 month term. any info would help greatly. If you are still under contract the amount would depend on how much of the contract you have completed and the device you originally upgraded to when you renewed your contract. How much is the data overage cost for my account?

After spending a good half and hour trying to find an answer for something that should be apparent, please tell me how much a data overage of less than 1GB would cost on my plan, and if I can temporary extend my data for this bill cycle, because my use this month was not typical, and I would not need it long term.
Please answer as straight forwardly as possible.

Why am i being billed an early termination fee for a device returned within the 2 weeks?

Why am I being billed for a device I returned within the two week period plus another 105 fees on top of that? This is appalling. My husband got cancer and I couldn't afford the extra devices we got on Black Friday so returned them within the two week period and are now being billed $280 in extra fees plus tax? I think this is fraudulent charges and I can get no help calling - I was sent to a disconnected number after waiting over 20 minutes.

yes I did --- it was a PROMO and the reps lied to me. I've been a customer for over 10 years and am so disgusted I think I am going to have to change carriers. I run a PR firm and have NEVER been treated with such disregard and been subject to a bait and switch. It is no wonder Verizon is being taken to task for such unfair business practices.

If yo purchased a smartphone, the ETF is $350 less $10 for each month of completed contract. Eight months in would be $350 less $80, or $270, give or take $10 depending on the specific day you actually terminate. A basic phone purchase would be half that, or $175 less $40,or $135 give or take $5.

Trade early termination fee on tablet for addition phone on the account?

When I got my single line phone I got the free tablet deal with a cell plan for the tablet. I have absolutely no use for the tablet cell plan. If i add a second phone to the plan can I terminate the tablet plan without having to pay the early termination fee for that tablet plan?

You can try activating a old phone on the tablet line. That would change your bills according. That could in turn make everything cost more tho. What plan are you on?
