Hi there, how much is the max  for ram on my pavilion dv6000?  is the dv6308nr,  it has vista-32 bit, but I want to upgrade to 7-64 bit, thanks a lot. Hugo

...and make sure if you want to update the BIOS, do so BEFORE you install W7, or you will brick the notebook if you flash the BIOS afterward.
Everybody sees this release note after they install Windows 7, and they flash the BIOS.

    There are some legitimate, high quality repair centers that often can fix phones for less than replacement cost and offer at least 90 warranty...
    Or maybe the OP knows that the broken display is not covered under warranty, which is why he was asking for the cost, but he still may have a warranty that just wouldn't cover him in this case.
    The warranty is all or none.  If the phone were damaged so as to void warranty coverage on the display, there is no remaining warranty on the rest of the device.

    Yes, at least for your laptop and most others, they are industry standard hard drives. You do not need an "HP" hard drive and, in fact, HP does not make hard drives. You can use any drive at all that is 2.5 inches wide, 9.5 mm thick and is a SATA hard drive. This one would work fine:

    We are part of "everyone" so what makes you think we also aren't lying?
    If you log in the Apple Store Online and switch to the Education store you can price anything based on the discount. Since the discount varies there really is not set percentage. But it's not 15%. It's less than 10%.
    You may do better than the academic discount by purchasing a refurbished product.
