hey i was on itunes and i purchased two movies one is downloading fine but the other im not sure
the second movie is showing normal progress but the
time remaining bar isnt turning blue at all and it wont say how much time is left

Sorry I dont get it - Im downloading but can only see it in Apps - No idea How I see remaining download ??

It is possible, but you have to know 'time' is bit different, depending if you are talking about the 'editors' time or the real time spent by the the trainee. Have a look at this old blog post, that tries to explain:

Time can show on the TOC (editors time), and if you have a playbar with a progress bar that gives some indication as well, but both for pure linear projects.

How many times can I download a movie from iTunes?

I recently purchased some of the movies offered in the bundled sales and am curious how many times I can download them. Will they always be in the cloud, or do I exceed a limited number of views or downloads at a certain point? I suppose if I did exceed a limited number of views from my Apple TV, or downloads from iTunes to my computer, I should then back them up.

If you are in a country where you can re-download films, and if the studio allows re-downloading, then you will be able to re-download them as many times as you like - but there is no guarantee that they will remain in the store (studios occasionally remove them), so you are better off keeping your own backup copy of them (and similarly with your other downloads) rather than relying on them remaining in the store

Is there a way to see how much time's left to render?

I was wonder if Final cut pro x have the ability to show how much time is remaining in the rendering process...like premiere or final cut 7 use to, if I remember correctly...Same thing with Compressor 4.1.3

The big problem with estimating time remaining is the app cannot see into the future on the timeline. there might be a very complicated section coming up that requires rendering effects, graphics, or complicated Motion files but only after lots of heavy duty decompression or transcoding.
After using FCP for many years we sort of got a feeling for how much horsepower and time were going to sucked up with any given project or settings but today's monster CPUs and graphics cards have required me to rethink all of that previous experience.

In general, no.
You can try looking at v$session_longops using your session_id to see if something shows up there.
Certain long operations will have an entry in that view with an estimate of the completion time.

hey i just got this mac and i'm downloading a software that weights 11,06 GB and i was wondering how much time can i leave it on...or do i have to turn it of and let it rest for a bit...i been going 3 days straight without any problems but im concern about overheating and so...thanks

I leave mine on all the time day/night and only sleep the display. I restart once in a while when installing updates. Yes the backside can get hot to the touch and that's normal. How much time on Internet is 3G?

I'm thinking of getting an iPad with 3G to 5G for the Internet. Does anyone here have a ballpark idea of how much time one can spend on the Internet per day if they have...say...3G or 5G? (I spend lots of hours a day on the Internet.) Also, is Verizon or AT&T better (consistent up-time, etc)?

Think of it like walking. 3G is like walking at 3 mph, 4G is like walking at 4 mph. This isn't saying how much you can carry, just how fast. Yes, in 10 hours walking at 4 mph you can make more tripsand end up moving more stuff than at 3 mph, but in the end you pay for how much you transport, not how fast you transport it. This is referred to how much data you use and the "G" plans are referred to as data plans. When we got an iPhone with AT&T we had the option of the base package with 0.2 GB data/month, the 2 GB package, and the unlimited. We got the 2 GB package and never come close to it. If we downloaded movies we'd exceed it with 4 movies easily.
Yes, it allows Internet access when you don't have wireless. However, the access may be limited to some items. Netflix would gobble up data. I don't know if you could even use it over a data plan. They restrict some of that heavy duty use to proper wi-fi. For example, you cannot Facetime with 3G, you have to do that with standard wi-fi. Data plans are a convenience but not a true replacement for WiFi. (In case somebody reads this, I am not going to go into hotspot use right now.)
There's also cost considerations. I haven't calculated it but I bet if I started downloading at the maximum rate for which we pay I could probably download over 100 GB per month. We pay $14 for our Internet service with 100 GB potential. We pay $20 (I think) for the 2 GB data plan with AT&T.

MacBook Warranty - How much time is left

Is there some place where I can track how much time is left on my warranty? When I initially bought the Mac, I know I had 90 days telephone service and a warranty on the macbook itself for one year. I think I have some in store assistance as well. Where can I find this location and is there a place where I can see how much time is remaining on my warranty (I can't remember when I purchased my macbook). Thank you.

Determining how much time is left for HttpSession expiration

What i want to do is, if there is no activity on some page for a long time, then according to the remaining session expiration time, i want to popup a message to the user that 'so much' time is left for his session to expire. If the user wish we can reset the session expired time to its initial value and the session continues.

Well, see, how are you going to do this even if there was a method (which there is sorta... you need to use getMaxInactiveInterval() and getLastAccessedTime() from session to figure it out yourself). What I mean is, how are you going to tell the user. The JSP can't call the browser to tell it anything, and when the user goes to another page, the timer is reset, so it'll never be below that limit after that request.
Actually, I can think of only one way, and that is to have a JavaScript code on the page and use setTimeout function to show an alert after the needed time expires.

When the active CTI Manager Service or PG software fails, the PG JTAPI Gateway/PIM detects an OUT_OF_SERVICE event and induces a failover to the redundant (duplex) PG. Lost the ability to see how much ink remains in cartridges

I have the Officejet 6500A printer. Used to be able to go to Control Panel, printers & devices, and when I clicked on my printer, I had the ability to open a window that showed how much ink remained in the cartridges. That option has disappeared. Any ideas what happened and how to get it back? Thanks.

I cannot fix Windows 8.1 so you like it -- that is not possible.
You can, to a large extent control the Charms and even ignore them for the most part. You can "switch off" live tiles that you do not use but want to keep around (Right Click), you can remove those tiles you just do not want on the Start Screen, and you can add programs that make sense for your setup.
You can set your TaskBar properties (under Navigation) so the charms do not "pop", if you like.
You can set your Taskbar properties (under Navigation) so the Desktop shows on Start (and bypasses the Start Screen).
You can set the Apps category view (explained below) in your Taskbar properties, too. This changes the view of the Start Screen to a List-like setup, although it is true that the view still contains icons.
For Windowds 8.1 after the recent 8.1 Update has been applied:
The "start" menu may be in the corner of your TaskBar as a little white "window pane" >
Right-Click on the Window Pane to see a modified List format.
If your setup lacks that Window Pane start, then the following will work regardless:
Click the Windows key (opens the Start Screen)
Type anywhere on the screen > a word, a piece of the word, whatever you are looking for >
Click on the selection to open it
From the Start Screen you might see a "Down Arrow" in the lower left of the Start Screen >
Click on the "down arrow" to see a list of your Applications and Programs installed on the computer >
When that list has been displayed, up next to the word "Apps", see by category >
Right-Click on by category to change the list format
Windows key + w (opens Search)

HP Envy 15 Note Book Recovery How much time required?

I am trying to recover my notebook through F11 option at start up. The recovery starts and the percentage stops moving after 30%. Its around 7 hours now the percentage is still there and estimated time remaining has reached from 15 minutes to 832 minutes. Can any one tell me how much time it should take to recover?

Great. Then it is on. Most HP laptops do exactly the opposite. For most HP/Compaq notebooks, no led on meant the wireless NIC was disabled.
