how much video record time do I have on iPhone 6

Your basic limitation is how much free storage space is left on the phone (found in Settings / General / Usage). How much time does each GB equate to depends on how you are shooting. The i6 shoots at 30 fps by default but can be set to do so at 60 fps. Plus you can shoot at regular speed or slow motion. Unfortunately, Apple does not publish exact specs on the device manual, so you'll have to do some test shots and see how much they take and extrapolate from that.
BTW, the iPhone 6/6+ manual is found here (or you can download it for free in the iBooks app)

  • How can I tell what video card and how much video memory does my iMac have?

How or where can I find out: which video card does my iMac have and how much video memory does it have? I've tried looking in System profiler, but I did not see it there. Thank you.

Once you open System Profiler there should be a line called "memory" which is the RAM (vs. hard drive size which is not what is called memory), e.g., Memory: 1.5 GB
For video click on the line Graphics/Displays and look at the chipset line, e.g., Chipset Model: GeForce2 TwinView
Kappy's instructions are handy for checking the original configuration of your computer, but that may have been changed at some time, especially if you bought it secondhand.

  • I am going to Challenge my 3rd Endurance World Record "Unstoppable BMW Challenge" utilizing both the New Ipad and Iphone 4s and I want to ask how much Video recording space is used per minute on both the iphone4s and Ipad2 ?

    Unstoppable BMW Challenge 2012
I dont yet own the Iphone 4s or the New Ipad hence the question. I would also like to ask what Iphone Apps would the community recommend as essential apps for a Herculeun Guinness World Record Challenge with a view to showcasing a video diary and picture diary whilst the challenge is underway.

Seems like you're just advertising and showing off rather than asking a question, but a 16 or 32 3GB iDevice would do for video recording.

  • I've just bought a new unlocked iPhone 5. I've not opened it because its going to be my Christmas present. The thing is that when I put the serial number that appears in the box to see how much apple care time left I have left this message appears

We're sorry, but this serial number is not valid. Please check your information and try again.

Does it have anything to do with not turning the iPhone on and registering it into the system??
    Thanks for the prompt answer!

  • Video recording time, 8GB vs. 32GB

    Hi all,
I'm planning to purchase an iPod Touch and need to pick which model. I don't need all my CDs on the thing and photos will cycle on & off, but it would be nice to shoot some video on vacation. Can anyone tell me how much HD video recording time capacity is available in an 8GB vs. 32GB iPod Touch? Another way of asking would be - How much memory is required for 1 minute of HD video?
Also, I can offload photos from my camera to my iPod Classic (5g). Can I offload photos or video from my (future) iPod Touch to my iPod Classic. Plenty of room on an iPod Classic, until you drop it.
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Rajesh
Open the slide to start the camera. Select Options; Video Mode.
The icon in the bottom right corner of the viewfinder shows what quality level is selected for video capture. It will either be MP4 or 3GP.
Select Options; Settings; Video Quality. The phone usually ships with High set as the default, which means MP4 format. Normal quality means 3GP, so you'll get much more recording time.
Sharing quality is 3GP but is limited in length so that the recorded file is small enough to be sent by MMS - this is an operator requirement. The capture resolution is also lower than High quality, so it won't reproduce as crisply.
Ultimately you have to select the right quality level to suit your needs. Do you want to play back on a pc, or do you want to be able to send the file as an MMS?
On my N70 with 30MB free memory, I can get the following recording times:
    High - 8mins 50 secs
    Normal - 35mins 13 secs
    Sharing - 0mins 35 secs
    Hope this helps.

  • Size limit for how much video can be included in an AIR file?

I'm making an AIR app to play a video locally.  It is on a PC with no internet connection, so the video (fv4) is  included with the air install file.  Is there a size limit for how much  video can be included in an AIR file? I seem to get the "...file is  damaged..." error when I include a video over 200mb. I use Flash CS4 to  create and AIR is v 1.53.

I'm authoring in CS4 on a MAC with the latest OS and 4GB ram.  It plays fine on the Mac.  On a WIN7 PC with all updates and 4GB ram I get the errors if the air file that contains a video file over 200mb.  I heard that AIR 2 should solve the issue and that it is just a PC issue.. Maybe...   I have not tried using ADT to package the file.

  • How Much Video Can Fit on a DVD Burned in Encore???

    Hi there,
I'm hoping the always helpful adobe community can help me with a question I've had for a while. I am using Adobe Production Suite CS4 and frequently making DVDs in Encore. I am filming with a Canon XH-A1 camera, capturing with HDV Split, and importing the footage into premiere where it is recognized as being .M2T files and 1440x1080.
I am wondering how much video I can dynamic link into Encore (how long a dvd can be), while maintaining 100% quality? Is there someway to tell within Encore, or is there a rule of thumb on which to go by? How about for Blu-Rays?
Also, given the answer to the question above, is there a way to make longer DVDs while maintaining the same high quality - such as with Dual-Layers? I don't know much about Dual Layers or much on this topic in general, so any info would be greatly appreaciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Aaron

    >Encore (how long a dvd can be), while maintaining 100% quality?
There is no such thing as 100% quality when you go from HD to the SD that is on a DVD
Read the Tutorial HD to SD w/CS4 http://bellunevideo.com/tutorials/CS4_HD2SD/CS4_HD2SD.html for ideas
As to how much you may fit at "high" quality... that all depends on the subject matter
A soccer game with a lot of fast action will require a higher bitrate setting and take more space than a speaker standing still at a podium
    There is no one answer
Yes, you may fit more on a dual layer DVD... I think that is discussed in the user guide
The individual CS5 pages also have links to the CS4 user guide pages

  • How much video footage can be in movie for Best Quality

I made an IMovie with about 1 hour of video and exported it to IDVD.  I added a slideshow with about 150 photos and music - about 15 minutes long.  When I went to burn it to a DVD - it would not allow best quality.  Why?
Is there a limit to how much video can be procesed as Best Quality?

    iDVD encoding settings:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/11417.html
    Short version:
Best Performance is for videos of up to 60 minutes
Best Quality is for videos of up to 120 minutes
Professional Quality is also for up to 120 minutes but even higher quality (and takes much longer)
That was for single-layer DVDs. Double these numbers for dual-layer DVDs.
Professional Quality: The Professional Quality option uses advanced technology to encode your video, resulting in the best quality of video possible on your burned DVD. You can select this option regardless of your project’s duration (up to 2 hours of video for a single-layer disc and 4 hours for a double-layer disc). Because Professional Quality encoding is time-consuming (requiring about twice as much time to encode a project as the High Quality option, for example) choose it only if you are not concerned abo
In both cases the maximum length includes titles, transitions and effects etc. Allow about 15 minutes for these.
You can use the amount of video in your project as a rough determination of which method to choose. If your project has an hour or less of video (for a single-layer disc), choose Best Performance. If it has between 1 and 2 hours of video (for a single-layer disc), choose High Quality. If you want the best possible encoding quality for projects that are up to 2 hours (for a single-layer disc), choose Professional Quality. This option takes about twice as long as the High Quality option, so select it only if time is not an issue for you.
Use the Capacity meter in the Project Info window (choose Project > Project Info) to determine how many minutes of video your project contains.
NOTE: With the Best Performance setting, you can turn background encoding off by choosing Advanced > “Encode in Background.” The checkmark is removed to show it’s no longer selected. Turning off background encoding can help performance if your system seems sluggish.
And whilst checking these settings in iDVD Preferences, make sure that the settings for NTSC/PAL and DV/DV Widescreen are also what you want.

  • How much value would a 3rd generation have if you traded it in?

If I wanted to get a 5th generation, and I traded a 3rd Generation for it. How much value would the 3rd generation have in discounting the 5th generation iPod touch.

    You cannot trade it in.
Apple will give you 10% off of a new ipod when you bring in an old ipod for recycling

  • How much video on a finished DVD total?

I'm authoring my first DVD and I don't know how much video each DVD can hold. I'm putting together a seminar that is 18 hours of total video.
How much compressed video can each DVD hold?
On one of the DVD's I plan a slideshow of some 40 pics. The rest of the DVD's will contain video only.
    thanks!
    G4 Dual 1.25   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

Depends on how you compress the footage.
http://dvdstepbystep.com/faqs_7.php discusses how to calculate the rates
The rates also depends on the type of footage, talking head type video can still look good with lower rates, while race cars will usually be better with higher rates.
Kind of broad stroke - in general 2 to 2 1/2 hours or so can usually look good on a single sided DVD-R but it varies. 2 Should usually be easy to do
There were some threads awhile back discussing all possible ways to squeeze the most onto a disc
One was here and Hal has some good info

  • How much video (time) should fit on standard DVD?

Importing from VHS to iMovieDVD then "sharing" to iDVD to Burn to Disc.
What should my expectations be regarding amount of video on one DVD? It looks like 1 hour of video will fit on the DVD (4.2gb).
The specs on the DVD says I can record 2hrs at SP but didn't seem to have an option to select prior to iDVD burning to disc.
Would like to get at least 2 hours on one disc since I'm only archiving video and highest quality is not a requirement.

Question 9: How much material can a single DVD disc hold?
Answer: A DVD-R disc can hold about 4.7 GB. This allows up to 120 minutes of high-quality video to fit on a DVD.
