How must i put a small cd in a macbook pro

how must i put a small cd in a macbook pro

You don't.
You must get an external optical drive that opens so that a support for the smaller CDs can be used.

  • Small dvd stuck on macbook pro

I accidently put a small dvd inside my macbook pro not realizing that it wasnt supported by my computer. I've tried everything to get it out, pressing eject, restarting the computer and even shaking it but the dvd wont come out.

Try some tape folded over a tongue depressor or something similar.
    Ciao.

How to load software from a small sized CD on MacBook Pro?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The disc drive of the MacBook Pro does not support mini CDs, so you need to get an external DVD drive that supports mini CDs. After connecting it, insert the mini CD and install the application you want.
If you have got another PC with a DVD drive, you can use Remote Disc > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5287?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Assuming you still have the CD's and they are still readable:
Delete everything "jumbled" from your iTunes Library.
Insert the CD, and do not read them into iTunes, but copy them instead  into a folder with the name you want in your iTunes Library afterwards, insert the next CD and copy it into a second folder (different name), etc.
Then put the first folder into Yourname/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Automatically Add To iTunes folder.
Start iTunes and see it appear in the iTunes Library. Close iTunes, do the same with the next folder, etcetera
That was excessively complicated, and NOT how you import CD's into iTunes.  I have imported nearly 1000 CD's into iTunes and never once, not once, have I fulled around with folders.  That is done in preferences.  That's not how iTunes works.  William needs to post his question to the iTunes for Mac forum, where much easier solutions will be provided.

  • How do I download Windows 7 into my new MacBook Pro

How do I install windows 7 to my new MacBook Pro?

I won't speak to how to obtain Windows 7, which you'll need to purchase or you must have a Key that you've purchased or own.
You have two choices to use Windows 7.  First, are the virtual Windows emulator, using Parallels or Fusion (I think those are the only 2 but there might be others).  I never liked them much (nor do I like Windows, but sometimes you've got to use them).  They are slow and memory hogs, so you need a ton of memory to use them (8GB good, 16GB better).  But you can use Windows and easily move over to OSX because Windows is in an OSX window.  Easy.
We're not going to tell you how to install Windows 7 with those emulators, there are forums for them at the company website.  It's not easy, but it's not terribly difficult.
VMware Fusion: Run Windows on Mac for Desktop Virtualization
    Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac
Your other choice, which is better and free, is Boot Camp.  Boot Camp runs Windows natively, no emulator.  But, you don't have access to Mac OSX unless you log out of Boot Camp.  Again, this isn't the place to learn about it, go to the Boot Camp forum for more details.

  • How can I erase the data on my 2009 macbook pro that won't turn on because of a faulty motherboard? Do I just remove the hard drive, install it in a working mac, and erase it that way?

How can I erase the data on my 2009 macbook pro that won't turn on because of a faulty motherboard? Do I just remove the hard drive, install it in a working mac, and erase it that way? Thanks.

You put the internal drive in an enclosure. If you choose to keep the drive, you don't need to erase it.

How do I take a screen shot on my macbook pro?

Press the Shift, Command, and 3 keys to capture the whole screen.
Press the Shift, Command, and 4 keys to capture a draggable part of the screen, or follow it with the spacebar to capture a window.
Open the PNG on the desktop. Alternatively, combine either of the above with the Control key to put the screenshot onto the clipboard instead of the desktop.

  • How do I know if my webcam on my Macbook Pro is hacked?

how do I know if my webcam on my Macbook Pro is hacked?
I am a little worried, because sometime the green light "lights" when I don't use the webcam.
Does that mean the camera is hacked?

Not normally.  However, certain Adobe Flash pages can be configured to use the video camera, and if you are visiting an Adobe Flash page that is, and you had setup the camera before on another page, it is possible the software is making a call on the camera again.  Photobooth, Quicktime, iChat, Skype all speak to the camera in varying degrees.  Additionally there is a built-in microphone next to the camera which may be called by any audio-input software.  If you want to be secure, just put a sticky on top of the camera.  I would though upgrade to 10.7.3 if you are worried about being hacked.  There has been a malware that affects 10.7 through 10.7.2, and 10.6 through 10.6.7, and 10.5.7 and earlier: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3261

  • How to type Pashto in Microsoft Office Word in Macbook Pro?

How to type Pashto in Microsoft Office Word in Macbook Pro? Though I have added Pashto Language, but when typing Pashto, It types something non-sense. Please guide me, if you know. The writing method of Pashto is the same like Arabic. I mean from Right to Left.

No version of MS Word for OS X has ever supported Arabic script.  Instead you must use another app.  Mellel is best, but TextEdit, Nisus Writer, or OpenOffice should also work OK.

  • 2 small bulges on my macbook pro just above the speaker on the top right

"from right to left I'm looking at usb, hdmi, and sd card reader?"
    Yes.
"Looks like there's nothing in the area to heat up."
Yup, so they're probably right, it was a mechanical pressure. I could see how that would happen if you had a USB plugged in and a cinder block fell on it.
"Apple is going to ridiculous lengths to promote thinner, lighter products over build quality."
Yes, the first time I saw these new MBPs I thought it was an Air!
Maybe if Steve was still around they would be making the tops out of a more rigid aluminum.
I had a friend out of college, a mechanical engineer. He was working for a major American auto manufacturer. He said his whole job was to design the stampings for the throttle linkage to use the minimum and to waste the minimum amount of material. Later he called me and said that they were going crazy with a recall and a redesign. The linkages got so thin that they were fracturing in normal driving and the cars would go immediately to full throttle.
    Yah that would be bad.
So you could probably gently push that dimple back, being careful not to mar the surface. Then pray that one of those elements that comprise the top case fails!!

How do I burn imovie to dvd on my macbook pro that can be read by dvd player to watch on my TV.

Purchase iLife 11  (includes iDVD) on disk.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.

Yes, there are programs that will put a movie on a DVD.   I have tried most of the other substitutes including Toast, Burn, DVD Creator, Wondershare, and others.  None of them come anywhere near the ease-of-use and power of iDVD. IDVD is specifically designed to work with iMovie.

  • How long does it take to back up my macbook pro?

How long does it take to back up my macbook pro?

How long TimeMachine will take is a function of: 1) how frequently you back up, 2) how much free space the backup drive has, and 3) how the drive is connected to the computer.
    1) the longer you wait between backups increases the data that has to be backed up and it also increases the preparation time. Letting more than a couple days between backups elapse isn't a good idea to begin with - who wants to try and redo 3 days of work - but it also seems to take longer than three daily backups.
    2) when your backup drive becomes too full, TimeMachine must 'look through' the oldest files and delete enough to make room for the newer files. This can take a very long time.
    3) backing up over WiFi to a networked drive or TimeCapsule is the slowest backup method and when you have lots to back up it can take a very long time. If your connection speed isn't good it gets worse. For all the advantages that a TimeCapsule appears to have, this alone was enough to make me rethink the idea.
With a 17 day estimate I'm guessing you must be using a TimeCapsule.
