How not to receive a certain MobileMe calendar on iPhone

I just updated from version 3.0.1 of the iPhone OS to version 3.1.3, and the handling of subscribed calendars is quite different. My wife authors a calendar on my MobileMe account, but because it is over 1 MB in size, I only subscribed to it on my Mac, not my iPhone. However, since upgrading to 3.1.3, all of my subscribed MobileMe calendars appear on my iPhone, and my iPhone has slowed to a crawl, presumably because of my wife's huge calendar (she doesn't automatically delete old entries).
Is there some way for me to unsubscribe from this particular MobileMe calendar on my iPhone?

If you are using structures.. then you need to do the below setting otherwise the result will display Zero Rows...
1. Select the Structure and go to properties..
2. Go to Display Tab
3. Select the check box Apply Zero Row Supression to this Structure...
otherwise.. the result will diplay zero rows also...

How to sync 2 computers with MobileMe Calendar on web...

Hello.
I have recently realized that when I update my iCal calendar on my mac air(running snow leopard), my other computer (G5 power pc running leopard) does not update, and neither does the MobileMe calendar on the web(me.com/calendar).
I believe I used to have them all synced up. How can I check that all my settings are correct.
For me, it is a little confusing. I do remember a lot of trial and error with lots of apple discussions help to get these all synced originally.

ICal event file attachment does not show in mobileMe calendar or iPhone

I am new to iCal. I setup events in the iCal application. Under the edit option I added files to the events. I can open the files on my iMac. The files do not appear on the mobilMe website or my iPhone calendar.
Any ideas?

iBooks appear in the separate iBooks app in OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
Audible handles only audiobooks. They can't help with any issue with an iBook.

Remove MobileMe Calendar on iPhone

I've upgraded to iOS5 on my iPhone 4 and have turned my Apple Store ID into my new iCloud account. All my contacts, mail, calendars etc that I previously synced with MobileMe are now syncing perfectly (after some gentle persuasion) in iCloud.
For some reason though even though i've deleted all traces of MobileMe on my iPhone, there is a MobileMe calendar still hanging around in my phone like a bad smell and it won't let me delete it for some reason.
any suggestions?

I also think this is awful, and it means I can never truly delete an entry from my address book.

How NOT to save iCloud Mail messages sent from iPhone?

Using iCloud Mail on a MacBook / Safari, e-mail messages are NOT saved - the relevant box in Preferences is unchecked. However they are saved in the Sent folder when sent from an iPhone. Is there any way they are NOT saved either way?

Again, ON MY IPHONE only has Sent option. There's no way you can set the Sent mailbox to any Trash anywhere.

I just want to receive the text. I can't believe it's not possible
If I put maximum mail size to, let's say 2kb, it still downloads the larger attachments...
Headers only doesn't work too.

There are other e-mail progs like Profimail and Emoze whitch can be customized much better. I prefere Profimail. There is a trial version for 28 days on the net. Emoze is free.

How to solve sync problem between Outlook calendar and iPhone when reminder is set to _some_ non-standard values?

I am having a sync problem between my iPhone/iPad and Outlook calendar events (Outlook 2010).
Here is the description of the problem:
1. In Outlook - please create a new event/appointment (e.g. "Test").
2. Reminder is set by default to 15 minutes. You can change it by using a dropdown menu - please select: "0,5 days".
3. Click on "0,5 days" and change it manually to "14,5 days".
4. Click on "Save & Close".
5. (Do not snooze or dismiss the reminder.)
6. Sync with your iPhone/iPad.
7. Open this new event on iPhone/iPad - you can see that alert is set to "15 minutes before" instead to a correct value that was set in Outlook.
The same problem can be seen if you set the reminder to e.g. "3 weeks" (standard value is "2 weeks").
However, it is interesting that non-standard values like "1,5 days" (and all other until "13,5 days") are synced without any problem.
Does anyone have a solution how to solve this problem (different than the trivial solution of not using those strange values)?

Thanks to another post (https://discussions.apple.com/message/17501071#17501071) I reset the sync history, here is what to do:
Launch iTunes.
Before you hook up your iPhone to the PC and iTunes do this: Go to iTunes Edit menu > Preferences… > select the iPhone > click the Reset Synch History button > click OK.
Connect the iPhone to the PC and let iTunes recognize it.
In the top right corner is the iPhone icon, click on the left side of the iPhone icon > the iPhone menu launches.
In the menu along the top click on Info > make your selections > click Sync button > it gives you a dialog at the top with the steps it’s going through during the sync.
In the top left of the iTunes app > click Exit.

How can I receive a text message from an iPhone to my iPad instead of my android phone?

my friend has an iphone6 plus, I have an iPad Air. I cannot receive messages from his iPhone to my iPad but he can send to my android phone. I do receive iMessages from other iphone 5 and 6plus users to my iPad.

If you are sending an iMessage rather than an SMS (normal text message) it uses your Data Plan not your Text Message allowance.

The Blue iMessages use your Internet connection.
If you are away from a Wifi network it will use your Cellular Data Plan for the internet connection.

How to sync from google email/contacts/calendar to iphone 4s?

I'm concerned about android security and my company has more apps on the iphone(including corporate vpn) so i'm leaning on going to an iphone from a blackberry.
However, I love google mail/calendar/apps and use yahoo calendar too(occasionally). I even use voice.google.com.
Can i use the iphone to sync(if not 2 ways, then at least one way between the google "cloud" to the iphone 4s.
I believe if one sets up the iphone as an "exchange device" this should work?
I just don't want my iphone to wipe out my google contacts/calendar or override them. This happened once with my blackberry.
I don't plan on using the iphone to edit/add/contacts --- with the small keyboard and screen --- my fingers are too big for the keyboard.

How to overwrite iCal on MAC with Calendar on iPhone...?

Since the last update, it appears that changes made to Calendar ON my iPhone are NOT syncing and updating my iCal on my MAC. But, I did a test and changes made to my iCal on my MAC ARE syncing and updating my iPhone. It took me awhile to notice this....but since I make all of my calendar entries on the iPhone, it has the most current version of my appointments. I have read other threads herein but the fixes appear to call for overwriting the iPhone with the iCal data that is on the MAC. I need to do it the other way around...! Is this possible? Thanks!

Not possible and BTW, it is a Mac and not MAC in all caps. MAC in all caps is the abbreviation for Media Access Control.
Try resetting the sync history on your Mac which is done with iSync preferences with the iSync application located in your applications folder.
Restart your Mac after doing so.

Can not add entries to iCloud synced calendar on iphone

I can not add new entried to my iPhone Calandar that is suposed to sync up to iCloud. (Adding via iCal on MacBook Pro is OK)
I am also stil not able to just completely delete my iCould account from my iPhone.
Realy frustrating. Any help appreciated. (Suggestions for a reset are NOT, as I have been reset my phone at least 50 times over the last few days already)
Is there a way to completely reset/clear an iCloud account?
Why does the iPhone insist on trying to contact iCould if I want to remove the account from my phone?

the bug seems to be in the handshake between the phone and icloud - i cloud needs to know the phone is off the cloud, but you can't connect to icloud from the phone to tell it, because there is a bug. it appears some people have been able to get decent tech support from apple - I have not.
