How or where can I get iWeb?

I just bought a new mac book pro - and there is no iweb installed on it... the very reason to buy a mac.. (ps first time user..) What shall I do?

iWeb used to be part of iLife. Now it is not, and had apparently been discontinued... probably because many of its features rely on being used with MobileMe, which is also being discontinued in favor of iCloud.
If you really want a copy of iWeb, you'll need to find an older copy of iLife with iWeb. I'm not actually sure what version last included iWeb.
A better alternative, though, would be to use one of the other web design apps that are available. I've heard very good things about RapidWeaver, for example.

I´m new here so I don´t know if theese questions are reacheing the Apples staff or only for the community useres..
But I put my frustration out here anyway.. :-) (and sry for my norwegian/eng)
I have like 12 differerent wen sites that I manage, very simple made, but working, thats why I like iweb cos it´s simple and it works.
I have now finnaly taken the step away for PC laptop also, so I went buying a brand new macbook pro weith Lion the other day.
Wanted to work on the websites while and travelling, so I copied all the domain info from myc stationary mac to a USB, ready to put into my new friend..
What????
No iweb in the programs..
So there goes that plan into pieces... How to I fix that case? Buying an old ilife and try to intall it?
Then I wanted to upgrad my stationary mac... but reading forums before I do so... DO NOT UPGRADE IF YOU ARE USING IWEB!!!!

That will work. The latest version of iWeb does run on Lion (with a couple of quirks).
But be aware that iWeb is clearly a dead end; fixes/updates/improvements are highly unlikely, and it may quit working with new versions of OSX (possibly even future updates to Lion).
If you're using MobileMe as a host, that will stop in June of 2011, so you'll have to move your site elsewhere. You can still use iWeb with it; a few changes are required on the Site Publishing Settings page, of course, but they're pretty simple. And a few features won't work, but there are workarounds for them.
I recently moved my iWeb site from MobileMe to GoDaddy, and it was relatively painless.

How or where can I get information on what data and/or sites my data is downloaded from?

My monthly cycle just turned over on 10/19. On 10/25 I got notice that I had already downloaded 75% of my monthly allowance. I am having a hard time believing I have already downloaded 3GB of data. I want to see what was downloaded and where it came from. How can I get that information? Thanks to any and all who can enlighten me.

I no the discs that come with the computer are made just for this computer so how do I go about getting a replacement for a lost disc? can I down load it and copy it to disc or do I have to have it send to me? I already started the instalation process with disc one and thought I had disc 2 but couldn' find it.

How long ago did you purchase your MacBookPro? Recently and did it come with Lion or Snow Leopard? If it came with Lion, then although it says that iLife 11 is pre-installed, the only part of iLife 11 that it will have will be iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand. iWeb and iDVD will not be part of it. This is because the latest and newest version of the Mac OS OS 10.7 Lion was and is only available as an upgrade by going to the Mac App Store. The only part of iLife 11 that is available for purcahse and download via the Mac App Store is iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand, NOT iWeb or iDVD. So this is the reason why you don't have iWeb on your Mac.
If you have a new Mac with Lion, then it is likely that you won't have iWeb on it - if you did it will be in the Applications folder or on the dock at the bottom.
If you don't have it and you want it, then your only option is to go to the Apple Retail store online and purchase the boxed set of iLife 11 that does contain iWeb 09 and iDVD. This is the photo that Alancito linked to in his post to take you to the Apple store directly so that you can purchase the boxed set of iLife 11.
Your other option is of course to go to Amazon and purchase either a boxed set of iLife 11 or iLife 09, both of which contain the most up-to-date copy of iWeb which is iWeb 09.
You could also try E-bay, but ultimately, if you don't have iWeb, then you'll have to purcahse it from the boxed set.

You purchase the OS, then clone it to the flash drive like here. If we knew what OS you were planning to use, then we could be more specific about what to do.
Make Your Own Mavericks, Mountain/Lion Installer
After downloading the installer you must first save the Install Mac OS X application. After the installer downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing.
2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your flash drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the leftside list. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list.
Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to an hour depending upon the flash drive size.
3. Use DiskMaker X to put your installer clone onto the USB flash drive.
Make your own Mavericks flash drive installer using the Mavericks tool:
You can also create a Mavericks flash drive installer via the Terminal. Mavericks has its own built-in installer maker you use via the Terminal:
You will need a freshly partitioned and formatted USB flash drive with at least 8GBs. Leave the name of the flash drive at the system default, "Untitled." Do not change this name. Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy this command line after the prompt in the Terminal's window:
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --nointeraction
Press RETURN. Enter your admin password when prompted. It will not be echoed to the screen so be careful to enter it correctly. Press RETURN, again.
Wait for the process to complete which will take quite some time.

Do you have a older Mac that had iDVD on it? If you do you can try copying the application and the iDVD folder (located in the ~Library/Application Support folder) from the older Mac to the same locations on the new MBP.
Otherwise you'll have to purchase a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailer and install it from there. Why 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.

1. If you are this unhappy with that phone, and the lost earbuds is the only thing stopping you from taking it back, why do not just buy some earbuds. That way you can get rid of that phone. It all depend upon how much you want to get rid of that phone.

As per my knowledge there is not one complete tutorial for how to configure wireless settings in the router .....
But one thing you can do is to log in to http://linksys.com/kb ...... it provides all the information related to all products of Linksys ......
Just type the Model number of the router you want to know about ....& it shows different answers .....
