How Put Movie Clips On Touch?

Moved my Touch to my MBP from PC. Music is fine, pics from Iphoto are fine. Apps are fine. How do I put movie clips on the Touch. On my PC I had been using Videora. Now that I am on a Mac, what do I use or what do I do?

Found a complicated way. I still have Itunes on my PC. I put an SD card in the PC and dragged the clips from Itunes to SD card. Put the SD card in the Mac and dragged the clips into Itunes. It worked but might be more trouble than it is worth. Easier way????

Putting movie clips in AS3 package into movie clip on stage

Hi - I am a as2/flash animator and am working on an AS3
project. The AS is in a separate file, inside a package. I am
modifying existing code.
The script adds movie clips in a function via addchild.
What I am hoping to do, is have the movieclips added to a
clip that already exists on the stage.
I put a clip on the stage named holder, with the instance
name holder_mc - and I tried to add the clip with
holder_mc.addchild in the AS3 file - it seemed to work, but
manipulating the holder_mc - it looks like the added clips are not
affected?
Any help is appreciated.

Child_array is a property of the Parent class.
It's only added to in one point, in a function that creates a
Child and adds it to the array.
I think I might have found out the problem with my code after
adding a trace to the function, think I'm creating twice the number
of clips I'm removing, and the deletion part of my code is fine!
Turns out AS3 is maybe not so bad after all :P

Close iMovie '08. At the "Finder" level, open the "iMovie Events" folder where you want to store your "new" event and create an new, empty folder with the name you wish to call the event. When finished, re-open iMovie '08. After it scans your drives, the new event folder name show up in your "Event Library" list as an empty event. At this time select the source "Event" so you can see the clips you wish to move. Simply drag these files from the source event and drop them on the name if the event to which you wish to move them. Using this process, iMovie '08 should internally update all required pointers as needed.

How to move clip one frame at a time or nudge

Tried searching this, as I'm sure it's basic and in the owner's manual, but I can't find it:
I can't control how far I'm dragging something across the timeline. Can I grab and nudge rather than grab and drag? I'd like to be able to move a clip one frame over.

If there's nothing in the way you can use the [ and ] keys or comma and period. Shift-bracket will move five frames.

How to move clip frame wise in Final Cut Pro X 10.1?

in the old Version (10.08 I believe) I have been able to move a clip framewise in the timeline with the arrow key. In the new version (10.1) however, the arrow keys move the cursor, not the clip. So, how can I move the clip framewise? I don't want to use the mouse for that.

How to move clips in mode like ProTools "shuffle" mode

How do I grab something in the timeline, move it elsewhere, and have the surrounding clips snap the leaving space shut and make space for where it's going, leaving the timings after the move untouched? The closest I can get is option dragging, which leaves a copy behind, which then can be ripple deleted. Any way to to this without leaving the copy in the original location?
In other words, if I just want to reorder some clips I want to just toss them into new locations, with the clips moving to accomodate. RTFMd over and over! : )

There are couple of different ways. But you're working with multiple tracks and different types of media in those tracks so the results are completely unpredictable unless you either do it manually or understand how ripple delete and close gap work. That is, if you lift a pice of video with linked audio tracks and then close the gap they left without carefully looking at it, all of the tracks will drop to the left and that can cause tons of items to suddenly lose their temporal relationships.

Great, but you didn't know what to look for. Try looking up close gap and ripple delete.

Is is possible to move apps from the Itouch TO Itunes? I download my apps directly onto my Ipod, but syncing seems to wipe out what is on the Ipod and replace with what is in Itunes, which does not reflect what is on the Ipod.

Update variables in Movie Clip

Hi!
Is there anybody who can help me with a simple (?) problem:
I have loded a movieclip into a movie:
var mcl:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
mcl.loadClip("Legend_movie.swf",legend_mc);
In the main movie a variable is changed by on EnterFrame:
figure_mc.onEnterFrame = function() {
size = circle_map_mc._width;
The variable "size" is also used by the movie clip.
Can anybody tell me how the movie clip can be updated for
each "onEnterFrame"?
At the moment the movie Clip only reads the variable "size"
at the first frame...

Actually it is circle_map_mc that is declared on the main
timeline and changes in a motion tween....
In my movie clip I have tried:
shadow_mc._width = _level0.circle_map_mc._width;
and
shadow_mc._width = _root.size;
Both updates the movie clip once, but I need a continous
updating as long the variable is changing (along the time line) in
the main movie... Any cloue?

I have Imovie so if I use it, will I lose video quality? I've been told that Imovie 08' only imports every other line of resolution when I capture Digital Video. Does it do the same for Iphone videos?

I have had some luck doing the following: Export each clip from imovie as a quicktime clip. Open iDVD and create a new project. Import a few stills into iDVD and then click on the button that gets created to get into the screen where the individual slides appear. Drag each quicktime into that screen and arrange in the order you want. You can then delete the stills. The button that appeared when you dropped in the stills will launch a complete show.

Bringing Movie Clips into ipod Touch

I know there is a really simple answer to this, I'm just not seeing it (:
I'd like to bring some .avi movie clips into the ipod but I don't seem to see how to do this. I've tried doing a drag and drop of the clip into the box under the 'Movie' tab in itunes, but that didn't work. Is there a place to put the clips where itunes sees them?

You have to use itunes. Open the file in itunes and it will be added to the library and can be synced to your ipod if you select it in the movie pane.
You can add videos other than those purchased from the iTunes Store to iPod touch,
such as videos you create in iMovie on a Mac or videos you download from the
Internet and then add to iTunes.
If you try to add a video from iTunes to iPod touch and a message says the video can’t
play on iPod touch, you can convert the video.
Convert a video to work with iPod touch: Select the video in your iTunes library and
choose Advanced > “Create iPod or iPhone Version.” Then add the converted video to
iPod touch.
