How put rdf file in database?

Hi,
I'm using java jena and i create simple rdf file calles first.rdf
h5. <rdf:RDF

h5. xmlns:vcard="http://www.w3.org/2001/vcard-rdf/3.0#" >

After that I use SPARQL to execute data from that file. And that is simple easy. But problem is when I want this rdf's file put in database and then execute it. How can I do that?

I'm deploying Mozilla Firefox 31ESR on thousands of computers. I'm looking for a way to pre-configure how firefox handle the mimetypes. For instance, to open pdf with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
To achieve this, I put a mimetypes.rdf file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\defaults\profile".
When the profile is created, this file is copied, then modified.
The lines:
<RDF:Description RDF:about="urn:mimetype:handler:application/pdf"
NC:useSystemDefault="true"
NC:alwaysAsk="false" />
Becomes:
<RDF:Description RDF:about="urn:mimetype:handler:application/pdf"
NC:handleInternal="true"

-If I replace manually the file "mimeTypes.rdf" in the newly created profile, it works perfectly.

Why is the mimetypes.rdf file modified? How can I set a mimetype policy?

How do I put recovery files back into ASM?

I'm trying to recover a database for testing. I have all the backup files in a directory. I've restored the controlfile.
When I run the restore, the error is:
RMAN-03002: failure of restore command at 10/21/2009 19:24:52
RMAN-06026: some targets not found - aborting restore
RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 4 found to restore
RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 3 found to restore
RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 2 found to restore
RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 1 found to restore
I'm guessing that I either need to tell rman where to find the files or put the files back into the ASM +FLASHBACK.
So 1) How do I tell rman that the files are now in a directory
or 2) How do I put the files back into ASM?

I restored the control file with the rman "RESTORE CONTROLFILE FROM 'filenamegoeshere'; It was the control file backup from the corresponding DB backup.
I couldn't use the RESTORE CONTROLFILE FROM AUTOBACKUP because it was expecting the backup files to be in the ASM +FLASHBACK.
The catalog lists all the files that I have, but it thinks they are in ASM.

I used a third party programme called Mackeeper UGHHH,it moved loads of files to the trash now i do not know where they originally came from or belong!! the put back option is in grey??how can i manually put these files back where they belong?SO upset!!

hello there thank u so much for ur reply!! ok i uninstalled mackeeper now and the put back option is still in grey im so confused...i tried restarting my computer like u said and put back still in grey??!! the files that are in my trash are everything from Accounts,address book plug-ins,address book,adobe,aim.........then stuff like apple,Audio,....to caches color pickers,colors,com.apple.TCC,to DVD player to facebook,google to ilifemedia browser to itunes to keychains to movie effects,preferences printers to skype...my Native instruments files BUT not all of them my garage band but not all of it...it seriously looks like my whole library is in the trash i tried to put things back where i THINK they belong and it just added the item or folder under where i thought it went and didnt restore functionality to for instance google chrome and all my book marks are there....they seem to be only certain things from my library that would have added some functionality to apps and programmes like my garageband is missing stuff photobooth wont work so on.......kinda looks a bit like this thats only the half of it!! How to use FTP_COMMAND to put a file in the target system

I have the requirement to put an excel file from apllication server to another remote system for this i am using the function modules
1) FTP_CONNECT to connect to the sourece as well as the destination systems --- Here i am able to hit the both systems.
2) for sending the data to the target system i am using FTP_COMMAND by passing the 'put' statement along with the soruce and destinations for the command parameter.
See the bellow code

Try holding down the Command key and dragging the file well off the sidebar.

How to save pdf file in database

my application is forms 6i and database is 8i,requirement is that how to save pdf file in database and users can view through forms

I'll apologize up front for the length of this post. I have a few database procedures I created that write a file to a BLOB column in a table as well as retrieve the BLOB from the column after it stored there. I have successfully stored many different types of binary file to the database using these procedures - including PDF files. I have not used these procedures in a Form so I can confirm that they will work, but theoretically they should work. I'm including the code for each procedure in this posting - hence the apology for the long post! :-)
Also, since these procedures reside on the database you will need to use Forms TEXT_IO built-in package to write your file to the server before you can use these procedures to store and retrieve the file from the database.
These procedures reads and writes a binary file to a table called "LOB_TABLE." You will need to modify the procedure to write to your table.

How can i recover my database after losing system data file.

hi everyone,
how can i recover my database in the following scenario.
1. offline complete backup taken 2 days ago. database was in archive mode.
2. today i lost my system data file, and also lost my all archived files.
3. i started up the database but, the following error was generated.
SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Database mounted.
ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery

4. i copied the system data file from backup and wrote the following statement, to recover the database.
SQL> recover datafile 1;
ORA-00279: change 2234434 generated at 07/15/2009 10:52:10 needed for thread 1
ORA-00289: suggestion : C:\B\ARC00051.001
ORA-00280: change 2234434 for thread 1 is in sequence #51
Specify log: {<RET>=suggested | filename | AUTO | CANCEL}
now i don't have any archive file. is there any chance to recover the database ?
