How reliable is the FICO Scores Estimator & Calculator?

I just did the Estimator and according to it, my FICO Scores are estimated to be between: 555 & 605.
My husbands is estimated to be between 545 &-595.
Should I believe this?  According to Credit Karma, my husbands is considerably less and mine is just about correct! LOL
Thanks

ThanksIt's close but the only way to know for sure is to actually pull the reports.  Also you can't compare the Fico scores here to what you see on CK. CK does not provide Fico scores at all so any closeness in scores is purely coincidental.

HOW to delete the saved score in a game downloaded from the app store to restart the game from the begining with fresh scores.
i am unable to do so. please help

In system preferences, create a new account again, using the short name of the "deleted" account. You may be prompted to re-use the old home folder. Log out and log in to test it worked. Then log in as your new admin, and do the delete process again. Don't choose to securely delete this time - just a regular delete.
When you have time to spare, go to Disk Utility, and use the Erase tab to securely erase free space on the drive. This will accomplish the same thing that your originally tried to do. Use the fastest method - anything more secure is a waste of time. You may need to run it overnight - it can take several hours.

  • How to calculate the switching score

    Dear Experts,
As per ISO 2859, the normal inspection can be changed to reduced Inspection if the production is steady, current value of switching score is 30, approved by responsible authority. My request is how to calculate the switching score?. I follow G-I inspections and AQLs 1.5.
    Regards,
    Krish

    Hi Sujit,
    Thanks for your reply.
I have find work arround for switching score. but my problem is we are applying switching rule to multiple sample,
for that as per ISO if the 4th sample is used score will be 0 but the batch is accpeted, as per dynamic modification set up this consider as OK lot but as per the ISO below30 score we will not go for next reduced inspection. if it is rejected then we will follow work arround. How to control in DMR? Is there any user exit is available .

  • How reliable is the Apple "check availability" web page?

I have a couple friends that checked the web site for availability of a 16gb black 3g. The web site stated " not available". They even called the store to confirm. However, when they stopped by the apple store at lunch they had plenty of 16gb black 3g. So how reliable is the web site? Has anyone else experienced this? I live over an hour away and I want to know for sure they have 3gs available before I drive that far.

The availability page reports shipments in transit to the selected Apple Store. Sometimes shipments do not match what's expected (they may get more of one type, less of another), sometimes weather delays prevent shipments from arriving as scheduled. It's an estimate, nothing more.
Unfortunately, the bottom line is that you can't +"know for sure"+. The only sure bet is to order one at an AT&T Store via Direct Fulfillment - then, when you are informed your phone has arrived, it will be there. But if you're in a hurry, a trip to the Apple Store would be quicker, if they do, in fact, have them when you arrive.
As of late last week in my area, there were still long lines prior to store opening (>30 people) - more people in line than phones in the shipment. So even though they are listed as available, they may not be by the time you get there.
    Hope this helps...

  • MBO/OSA - How to get the final score

    Hi,
Does someone here knows where or how I can find the final score to an appraisal?
Is there any table or function module that I can use to fetch the final score?
    Thanks.

    Hi Hagen ,
I have a scenerio where for a particular plan version, appraisal id, row_id ( constant '001' ) and column_id ( constant 'FAPP' ) , i'm not able to get any record from HRHAP_FINAL table.
I had also used FM 'HRHAP_DOCUMENT_GET_DETAIL' and by taking the column_id from internal table 't_body_columns' and row_id from 't_body_elements' , i was not able to find any record for that particular appraisal_id and plan version.
    1)  Can you tell what can be the case? Or am i missing any thing? Or is this a configuration issue ?
    2)  When is the appraisal rating gets saved? I mean, does it depend on the status of the appraisal document.
    Thanks ,
    Arnab

  • When does the FICO score update?

How do I get an updated score from myFICO? I used Credit Karma in the past, but I wanted daily score updates, and not weekly.  Someone was using myFICO and said they are able to see daily scores.  My myFICO score updated on my purchase date, the 4th. But I can't seem to find a way to update them.  Credit Karma finally updated mine.  Does myFICO work the same way? Updates the score weekly?   I purchased myFICO to avoid waiting.  One payment increased the score immensly -- I am excited, but now bummed because myFICO doesn't show the updated score.

    Hi,
    > Are the
    computer LastLogonTimestamp attribute and the
    user LastLogonTimestamp attribute always
    > updated at the same time by the same events and conditions?
No. The lastLogontimeStamp attribute is not updated every time a user or computer logs on to the domain. User logon may update user lastLogontimeStamp attribute, computer logon may logon computer lastLogontimeStamp attribute, there are irrelevant.
    > Possibly everybody else knows that a computer logon event and a user logon event are one in the same
    > thing
That’s different. For example, computer logon domain to apply computer policy, this action happens before user logon. Also computer password change is related nothing with user.
The lastLogonTimestamp attribute reflects simple bind operations and NTLM network-based logons. This behavior enables stale account cleanup in Active Directory without affecting LDAP client authentication that uses only simple bind operations.

  • How reliable is the HH3?

Will soon be on my 3rd HH2 as the replacement one now decides to restart itself when ever I look at the adsl stats so wanted to see here if it's worth while me buying or trying to get BT India to send out a HH3 instead.
So how reliable are you guys finding them?

I've only had the HH3 for 4 days (new to the HH and to BT). The HH3 doesn't have a modem built-in, so in that sense it is not a direct replacement for the HH2 which does I believe?
The wireless is pretty good - a wireless-N device - except that it's not simultaneous dual band (ok, I was hoping) - either 40Hz or 20Hz, not both it seems. I also had problems getting two smart(ish) phones to connect reliably (Nokia E65 and Nokia C3 - which just wouldn't connect). This may be partly the phones fault, but anyway, I actually got around this by connecting my old (US Robotics) router and enabling a 2nd wireless network!?
You can connect a USB mass storage device. Does the HH2 have USB?
There are no flashing lights indicating activity, just 3 steady blue ones - although that's not got much to do with reliability!

  • How reliable is the Mac Mini or iMac (2009) models?

Greetings to you all. I have a question directed at anyone who owns the 2009 Mac Mini or has recently bought a Mac Mini either last year 2009 or this year, 2010. My Acer Aspire L-100 finally died on 29th Dec 2009 as a result of USB failure caused by a windows auto update. Fed up with Microsoft, I am thinking about switching over to Mac and thought the Mac Mini or iMac would be a good start. I am however troubled by the numerous complaints I am reading on the Apple website posts regarding the 2009 model Mac Mini loosing sound after a month or two of use and some posts claim that the sound on their Mac Mini is distorted, crackling and some had broken systems out of the box. How many of you have had similar sound issues with the Mac Mini? Also, is it better to get the iMac 21.5 inch instead? Has anyone had hardware issues with the Mac Mini and or the 21.5 inch iMac in less than 2-6 months of use? If so please let me know so that I can make up my mind, whether to purchase Mac computer platform or just build my own customized machine. What I need to know is, how reliable or durable is the mac mini computer, especially the 2009 model and how does the mac mini, especially with its small size, handle temperatures? Does the mac mini overheat? Please help. All information will be highly appreciated.

Remember, Apple offers a 1 year hardware warranty and 90 days free software support, both of which can be extended to three years from date of computer's purchase. This means if you appear to have what is a technical issue with your machine off the bat, Apple will cover the lemon issue, if it is obvious it is not an issue you the user could have caused. Mind you, if issues appear much later during the ownership, it gets harder to justify that it is a manufacturer issue. As long as you don't upgrade the internal hardware, the hardware test CD that comes with the machine will be able to tell if there is a manufacturer issue with the machine. All bets are off, if you change the RAM, or hard drive beyond the specs of the machine. Apple publishes the specs of the machine on http://support.apple.com/
Your machine shouldn't overheat unless you excede the published specs.
The advantage of the Mac is that malware and viruses are practically a nonissue, and everything you usually could desire is already built-in to the machine. So while you could build your own machine, you can't really get the integrated hardware and software as you do with the Mac.
Yes, the 27" iMac has been hit hard with issues, more around the display than anything else. I for one, if were forced to get an iMac, would get the 21.5".
I've not seen any specific Mac Mini issues really come to the fore.
If sound is lost on a Mac Mini, it usually is due to the fact that minijack connectors themselves are fragile to begin with, and endusers tend to jiggle them a lot in the connector, causing the connectivity to get lost. If you are careful to follow these directions about cables*:
    http://www.macmaps.com/frayguide.html
You should avoid most of those issues. Thankfully there are 5 USB ports on Mac Minis, and USB audio is frequently better than the built-in audio, except when adding your own 5.1 speaker system with mini-Toslink connector speakers.
Don't forget the number of posters to this board, don't even amount to 1 tenth of a percent of all purchasers of iMacs, Mac Minis, or MacBooks any one quarter. Thus the remark you said was "rude" is not. It is factual. You are basing your information on what amounts to less odds of happening than a space program disaster with NASA. Mostly people who have problems are posting, and those who don't rarely do post.
I recently had a hard drive die after the three year warranty was spent, but hard drives I've seen die on Acers and Dells on the first day of ownership too, so that's nothing new. Backing up your data is the best way to deal with data loss*:

  • How reliable is the built-in weblog ?

I plan to create a small weblog about my hobby photography. For doing so, I want to use the built-in blogging feature of OS X Server 10.5.8. But since this OS X is a bit outdated (no way to upgrade - PPC XServe), I wonder how reliably and secure it is for the server enabling this feature ?
I also read an article about how to enable a more sophisticated admin console for the built-in weblog, which sounds quite interesting and easy to do (http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20060407155752996). Has anyone made an experience about doing so and security ?
Thank you very much for your help,

  • How reliable is the 2014 MacBook Air and its PCle Flash storage?

I'm planning on buying one from my local Best Buy, but I don't know how reliable it really is. I love the idea of having all day battery life, which is a huge plus for me, and the thinnest of it is simply amazing. I did heard that it has some sort of SSD, which I'm assuming it's PCle flash storage, that makes things so much faster. I don't know anything about them, so correct me if I'm wrong. But is the SSDs reliable? just don't want to get something that's going to be a paperweight in a year. I was expecting to keep mine for, let's say, 3 or more years, which is what I usually do with my notebooks.
Anyway, long story short, is the MacBook Air durable, and worth the investment?

That's good. So, in other words, the early-2014 MacBook Air model - with PCle flash storage and a Haswell processor - is a good notebook that should last me a very long time (with proper care)? I'm going to college soon, and I was planning on sticking with this notebook for 4-8 year - for college work, and every day (casual) use. I heard MacBook Airs, or any MacBook with a SSD, are extremely reliable, but I don't know if that's true.
I never bought a MacBook  so please forgive me if my questions are annoying.

  • How reliable is the ipod nano's?

I am currently a disgruntled Zune 30 user. I have to send my player into Microsoft for them to fix it. I'll be without my Zune for 15 days and it's going to kill me. I am not here to start a Zune vs. Ipod discussion. I only want to know how reliable the ipod nano is. I am looking at purchasing the 8GB. I really don't want to have to go through this with the ipod if I decide to purchase one.
Are they pretty reliable? What happens if something does happen to them? How long does it take for them to get it back to you?

I've had my 3rd gen Nano since they came out (9/07). I use it for running and have never had a problem with it. I've had iPods since the first 5 gig iPod (yes, children, full sized iPods used to be 5 gigs). My 60 gig iPod Photo is having some problems according to the person I passed it on to. All of the others, including the original are still working (okay, the hold button on my 5th gen doesn't work but that's because I dropped it onto a tile floor from a height of 3 feet). I did have to send one iPod in (forget which one) for a bad headset jack. Turn around time (my hand to Apple back to my hand) was 5 business days. I remember because I was amazed. As my iPod was over 6 months old and I didn't have Applecare, I had to pay $29.99 for shipping.
Your mileage may vary. You could get a lemon. It happens with any manufactured product. That's what warranties are for. My experience has been positive.
    Best of luck.

  • How reliable is the iPad?

Just wondering how reliable the iPad is

How reliable is it in terms of the system and the software? Does it crash easily? Does software always work?
It's difficult because I don't know what to compare it to, but in general:
    very
    no
    yes
The last depends on the software, but everything available for iOS has to be approved by Apple, who subject it to many stringent quality control tests before it is released for sale. Poorly written software or apps that are not a good value get poor reviews, so look for yourself before purchasing.
My iPads have exceeded my expectations. I have never experienced a crash or anything resembling instability. For such a versatile product, I can't believe they price them so inexpensively.
Don't drop them. If you must drop one don't let it fall onto anything harder than a carpet.

  • How to see the whole score ?

What setting is needed to be selected to see the whole score in page view ? I use to work for me in logic 8 ? I dont know what has changed in L9 ?

I don't know what "n" or CMD-3 do (I don't use stock Logic key commands). That aside, try this:
    • close all existing score editor windows
    • select the regions you want to see in a full score
    • open the score editor
That should give you a full score display of the instruments used for those regions. But if you don't see what you expected, chances are that the score editor is showing you a previously saved score set.

  • How Reliable Is The Macbook?

Ok, I'm just about to pull the trigger on purchasing my first mac product. However, I am still a bit hesitant due to my past experiences with Apple. I've had 4 ipods (different models) replaced by Apple over the last 3 years due to hardware failures that were in no way a fault of my own. I took excellent care of them and time and time again the wheels would lock up, the batteries would fail, the player would lock, etc. In short, every Apple product I've ever owned has been defective. However, since having the opportunity to play around with a Macbook over the holidays I have really fallen in love with them. I've read that they have better than average reliability, but I still have this small voice inside my head telling me that I'm making a mistake. Please be honest and tell me if the Macbook is a reliable machine. I can't afford to throw money away on something that is constantly going to give me grief. I understand that there are always going to be lemons but overall, what is your opinion on the reliability of the Macbook? Thanks!

Well Tex it's kind of hard to say. No one can really predict what's going to happen. I've been on these boards longer than most. I've seen people complain about a myriad of problems relating to various Apple products. Of course I guess I can expect that since this is where people with problems with said Apple products come when the have trouble.
I have an iMac G5 which when it was released had all sorts of trouble (if you looked on the discussion board) yet I haven't had any trouble what so ever even though I've had it almost 2 years. I bought my MacBook 4 days after they were released and have yet to have trouble. I bought a Shuffle and used it for over a year and it freaked out one day. That was taken care of with an update. I have a Nano now and use it everyday. It sometimes locks up and I have to reset it. Not that happy about it but it's not really a big deal.
I've owned about 15 Apple computers/products over the years and with the exception of a modem that went out I really haven't had a true problem. Maybe I've been lucky or maybe the few (yeah it looks like a lot) people that post here have be unlucky. I've seen people here that have not only had a problem but have had multiple problems repaired, replaced, etc.
I guess what I'm getting at is there's really no guarantee to say you're going to be happy but there's obviously something that's drawing you to the MacBook. Feel the Force Luke.
