How to retrieve my deleted TXT messages

If you have deleted text messages since the last time you backed up the device, you cannot. You can restore to a backup, but you don't have one. You can select an old backup and try to recover them via a 3rd party software solution. However, you don't have that backup to work with. I'm sorry, but you are out of luck. There is no way for you to recover them.
I find it interesting that you have not backed the phone up since October 1st. If these messages and other data are that important, then you need to be backing up more often than that.

    Just delete them. Or, do you mean beyond just deleting them? Then, you'd need to wipe the phone - select Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. That's a secure wipe of the iPhone contents, takes several hours (connect to AC power). You'll need to set your phone up from scratch (and erase the old backup(s) from your computer, since your SMS history is part of the backup).

    If the backup is made after the messages were deleted, then you won't be able to get them back via an iTunes restore. However, you may be able to use a third-party program to look at the backup made after the messages were deleted and see what information about those messages is recoverable.
    One program, the one I work on, is called Decipher TextMessage. Our software will scan the text-message database and show you what information (whole and incomplete) was found that has been previously deleted. We've had a lot of success helping folks recover their deleted text messages -- it doesn't always work 100% since we're at the mercy of how the database works but it's worth a shot to see what you can find!

    Yes, you can restore the iPhone with the iCloud's backup or your computer backup.
    If is not synchronized you will recover your SMS and everything but you will lose all your chats from the backup to now. (For example: WhatsApp's chats from the last backup until now)

    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    If there are multiple backups of the iPhone, you should be able to browse the previous backups in order to restore from an older version with the text messages on it.  The available backups will appear to choose from when you are beginning the restore process.

    Myself and my girlfriend use the decipher textmessage program. She's on windows and I use the version for my macbook pro. It works cool and lets you save your text messages from your iphone to your computer. I've actually recovered a few deleted messages with it too which was helpful since I'm a laywer and needed them for work. Their site is:

    You can not recover that which has been deleted and was never backed up.
