I am looking to create a form for RFP use and have added a section that allows them to upload documents. How is this information encrypted or secured?

apparently, you are concerned that no one can execute a successful right-click, or is that a misunderstanding?

When a form is created using livecycle ES2 - are the responses submitted over email then secure?
Ie. when both submitted or attached (as required with yahoo & hotmail accounts)

Does anyone have any tips on how to resolve this? My LiveCycle form is a dynamic form. It seems like livecycle Designer ES2 has corrupted it or designer ES2 has a bug that makes reader and acrobat print engine not recognize the pages.

Unfortunately I have not activated the Search my iPad function.
The iPad is locked with the code.
How secure are my data ? Is it possible, that someone get into my data ?

Anything is possible, but having it locked is good. You need to change your Apple password. The finder may reset to factory settings which will delete all your data.

How secure is the DocumentRevisions-V100 data for versions? Im concerned that if I open and work on a Numbers or Pages document from an encrypted disk image, Versions would save an unencrypted version within the database, making the encryption useless. Does anyone know if this is a problem or not? If so, is it fixed with Mountain Lion?

IPhone Security: How secure is the iPhone?

We just purchased iPhones for our family. However, I have a question regarding cyber security on these devices.
Specifically, we have the phones set up to access our MobileMe accounts, and thus the MobileMe password is part of our iPhones. This leads to two questions:
1) If someone acquires our phones, can they easily reverse engineer the phone to determine our MobileMe passwords?
2) When we use various free wireless services (for example, while travelling at airports), how secure is the password data as it is passed from our iPhones to MobileMe over the RF spectrum? Could someone easily “listen in” to the communication and sniff out the passwords?
It’s not that crucial now since it is just our MobileMe account, but I would like to use my iPhone for work e-mail and am not sure if this is safe or not.
In addition to these questions, any advice, comments, or other sources on iPhone security would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what the website does, and the rules are the same as using a wifi laptop:
A) If a site uses regular HTTP with no encryption, any text data can be intercepted.
B) Using HTTPS encryption like banks do, data can be sniffed but cannot be read unless a sophisticated hacker can unencrypt the sniffed data.
C) Using a secure VPN for your iPhone (like HotSpot Shield), you can encrypt traffic between the iPhone and the VPN service so that all your communications are secured regardless of what the website does.
I don't have a MobileMe account, so I don't know whether they layer any encryption over the login, but if they're like many sites, they probably do. As for what happens after login, this article is not very encouraging if the info is still current. That is why I use a VPN.

I need to sign a document that was sent via email and i dont know to much about computers so i dont know what to do or how t do it. I do know that i need to sign it There is a place for my signature. It came from another country and i am having a hard time comtacting them. I downloaded alot of the adobe products in hopes that i downloaded the right one to help whith what i need done. How to run the form that is only installed on a PC and not using a server?

I am new to Oracle and have taken the forms class. But I do not understand how to run the form from my PC using XP windows. (Do not have access to a server).
I have started the OC4J, made sure the listener was started, compiled the form and then when I run it, it automatically goes to the HTTP:
ERROR: res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,http://kevin:8889/forms/frmservle
I connected to the database correctly. I can process a report and it does nor try to access the internet. My only issue is running the form. I verified it compiled.
Sorry for a basic question. Could someone please help, I tried reviewing other questions, but not sure if they are connecting to a server or not.
I see webutil but is it required if I don't have a server? Thank you in advance.

Regardless of the version, it appears that you may not have configured the Builder. Do the following:
1. Open the Builder
2. From the menu, select Edit > Preferences > Runtime
3. In the box labeled "Application Server URL:", enter a local URL needed to run a form OR click the button labeled "Reset to Default". If you decide to manually enter a value, it would looks something like this:
http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet
4. In the field labeled "Web Browser Location:", enter the path and executable to your preferred browser. So for example if IE is your browser of choice the entry would most likely look like this:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
5. Click on OK and retest.
By the way, you can manually enter a URL in the browser. Clicking the RunForm button from the Builder is strictly optional. To run the "test" form directly from the browser enter the following into the browser's address field:

If this is what you want,then go to the T-code NACE and select the option K1Sales activities and click on the Output Types button on the top.The new window has all the types of Output types listed.Select the most appropriate and double click on the Processing routines button in the left side screen.
The new window lists the program names and the forms associated with that output type.

Through processFormSubmission(), I got the submitted form data as Document obj.
Then I have called the workflow kickoff program.

You need to create a process variable of type IN if you want to be able to pass data to your process. Then the params parameter (HashMap) contains a list of all the IN variables with their content that you want to pass to your process. They key is the name of the variable and the value the content. That way you should get it in your process.
Now LiveCycle will create a column in the database for every process variable, so the content will be saved in the database just by creating that process variable.

How to get the form printed through the transaction ME42.
For example :
In t.code vf03 . In the main menu there is an option billing document , when we click on that we get a drop down menu which shows issue output to. If a print program call has the code to get the value from the t.code , immdiately when we click issue output to it call the form.

Here go to ME42 put in your RFC no, in the menu Header -- Messages, go there and see if a message has been inserted, else you can insert one.
when you save this, it will call the form.

QUERY mode? Did you mean, that you can only QUERY without changing data.
This is the QUERY-ONLY-mode, which can be started e.g. call_form
