How should a segment my servers into VLAN's in a datacenter design
I am designing a data center with over 200 servers and I am trying to decide how to segment my data center into VLAN's. I have thought about putting all servers in a different vlan to guard agaist broadcast storms and also a failure that might effect the vlan as a whole. I know I can use storm control to limit broadcast storms.
Another thought is to put all Windows servers into one Vlan and all UNIX into another.
Another thought is to group the servers into VLAN's by the applilcations they support.
Can anyone tell me how they do this in a large data center and if any the pros and cons to doing it that way.
As stated you're going to need at minimum two 4000s. Since there are 200+ servers in this you may want to go with the 6000s. Obviously you'll need to do layer 3 and have a couple GigE trunks between those two switches to handle any cross switch traffic. Since you have so much riding in this data center you're going to want some horsepower at your gateway. Maybe look into redundant 3700's and use HSRP. Is this a design for a colo type data center or is it all internal servers to your company? I guess if it was the former I would split it out by *NIX / Win, and keep each VLAN down to a /29 and put 4-5 servers in each. This way, if you do have a problem it is segmented relatively well. There are so many variables, it's hard to say with just a few lines to go off of.

You shot with one camera and you want to make a multiclip…so should I asume you had three separate takes of a performance? And the audio? Is it recorded music that you want the talent lip-syncing to? Or something else?

Could you also expand upon these statements? Why does the 24p need speeding up and why does the 60p need to be conformed?
With a typical multi-cam shoot, FCP does a great job of syncing different formats, including multiple frame rates. Those usually are synced by matching (automatically) the waveforms of the reference audio in the various cameras and any other sound sources. But yours does not sound like a typical shoot.

Then I have called the workflow kickoff program.

Saravanan GYou need to create a process variable of type IN if you want to be able to pass data to your process. Then the params parameter (HashMap) contains a list of all the IN variables with their content that you want to pass to your process. They key is the name of the variable and the value the content. That way you should get it in your process.
Now LiveCycle will create a column in the database for every process variable, so the content will be saved in the database just by creating that process variable.

Help! What's the quickest way to accomplish the following task in Illustrator CS6?:
My client has sent me a high resolution JPEG which is a monogram of his initial ("C") on top of a complex filigree. It's all one color. He wants the letter "C" to be a different color than the filigree pattern. The goal is to create a logo for his website and business cards.
How should I separate the C from the rest of the monogram? I've done an Image Trace which resulted in a perfect rendition of the entire artwork. But how to I separate the C? Any Illustrator experts out there? How would YOU do it?
Here's a lo-res version of the artwork he sent. I've already managed to eliminate the grays and turn this into a two-color (black and white) image. What next?

You may redraw the whole thing, or you may use the Pen Tool to redraw the C, making sure you cover the traced version, or you may use a combination of cutting, creating new segments, and (re)joining.
In any case, and to the highest degree if you choose to work on the traced artwork, you will have to deal with the way the C fuses with other parts, such as the roundings out of the straight part at the top right (and many other places), and with the part going through and in front -
I had a Wish List with about 7 or 8 songs on there and I purchased them today. They all downloaded fine, except for 2. These two songs completed the download from what the computer says, but it will only play the short sample avaliable from the Itunes store. How should I fix this?
Other people have been having similar problems with songs over the last few days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting them from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -

I have a DAQ Assistant configured to read 2 channels at the same
time. When I wire a graph indicator to the output, I see the 2
signals jumbled together. How do I split them up into seperate signals?
When I wire any type of indicator it is showing just one output of a single channel.
I want 2 indicators showing 2 different signals as expected from the 2 channels configured. How to do this?
I have tried using split signal but it end up showing only 1 output from 1 signal in both the indicators.

I just found the way. When we launch split signal, we should expand it (split signal icon) from above and not from below. It took me a while to figure out this.

Should be easy. Try this...
In Thumbnails view, click the little triangle (pointing downward) in the lower-right corner of the asset you want to share.
In the blue icon bar that appears, click the Share icon (the third icon from the left, just right of the trash icon). The Share dialog should pop up.
In the Share dialog, enter the email address of the person with whom you want to share the asset, then click the Send Email button - they'll receive an email with a link to your asset. OR
You can also copy a link to the asset and then paste that into your own email client if you prefer. To do that, click the Link icon (looks like a "chain", and is to the right of the email "envelope" icon) - then click the Copy Link button.
Note that the Share options won't be available if your asset is set to "Private" - you can control whether an asset can be viewed (or downloaded) by others by clicking the Public/Private control (green or red "lock" icon).
You can also access the same Share controls if you click on the file to see it one-up (you can do this from either Thumbnails view or List view); click the Share icon near the upper right corner of the browser window (to the right of the asset name).

After creating a new user account, how do I move my files into the new user?
I have an issue where my 'Desktop/Screensaver' prefs seem to be corrupt somehow. When I click on that icon in System Preferences, it stalls and I get the spinning ball, thus resulting in a force quit. After reading a Mac Format magazine where someone wrote in with a similar issue, they said to trash various prefs (did that and made no difference) and if that didn't work, try creating a New User account (therefore creating brand new system prefs) and move your stuff over.
Well, I've created the New User account, but I can't figure out how to move/copy my stuff into the user folders. After copying and attempting to move stuff in, I see folders with a red circle with a white line through it (like a 'no entry' sign).
Any clue as to how this can be done? All I'm trying to do is to reinstate the system prefs so they are not corrupt anymore on my log-in.No. Not the main Library folder. Make absolutely sure you are in the Home Library folder and not the main Library folder.
Your Home Library folder is hidden in Lion. To get to it, in the Finder menu, select GO and hold the option key down. Select Library in the submenu. The Finder window will open in your Home Library. This is where your user prefs are stored.
Once there, you will see the Preferences folder. Open it up, select all items within it and move them to the trash. You will need to restart in order for the new Finder preferences to be recreated.
Once you restart, then you will be back to the default preferences to the system and all applications. And yes, it will affect all settings including your Dock, just as logging into a new user. You will have to reset everything there also.
If you wish to do a selective method, instead of deleting all preferences, try deleting the one associated with your problem. Screen saver problems should be affected by the system preferences, so try deleting this:
com.apple.systempreferences.plist
com.apple.systempreferences.plist.lockfile
Note that when you delete system file preferences, a restart will be required. For applications, just quit the application before trashing preference files. -

I query a table and output using the following :

Since this is dynamic, the output gives me one column all the
way down to the end of the page/screen.
How do I dynamically output this into a table with two or

I can probably do individual queries and put each one into a
<td> but there has to be a better way to do this
dynamically.My current output, without table, list the first state, then
the first city under that state, then all zipcode for that city. It
then list the second city for that state and all zipcodes for that
city, When all the cities are exhausted for that state, it skips a
line and then lists the next state, city, etc., and starts the
process all over again. It gives me one column to the end of the
screen.
So for each td, I would like to have the state, the cities
and zipcode, then the next td would have the next state, all cites
and zipcodes, etc. I would not know how many states are in the
table, so each td should contain a state.
