How should I do so my ipad could be detected on iTunes?

My ipad is still no life. the screen is off. and i have pressed the power key and the home button at the same time but still off. i charged my ipad and no indicator of the battery on ipad screen.
now, i need to restore my ipad. the ipad's already connected to the laptop by usb. but the laptop couldn't find my ipad absolutely with the iTunes too. Help pls. thanks.

Fix the powering-on problem first. (This might require hardware repair or replacement.)
Your iPad must be powered on before it can be recognized or restored.

I bought a bluetooth earpiece for my ipad but my ipad could not detect the earpiece. Can somebody explain why that is so? I used the piece on my friend's tablet and it could detect the earpiece meaning that it is working. Why my ipad could'n? I want to use it to listen to music or video. I could use the normal wire type earpiece but it is very cumbersome.

  • IPad does not detected by iTunes on Updated Windows 7

    Hi All,
Since i updated my MS Windows 7 with the latest patches, my iPad can not detected by iTunes on my PC.
The USB ports on my PC were fine, the peripheral (eksternal HDD; USB Flash disk; Printer) still working fine.
The USB sinc cable data is also working fine when i charge the iPad directly from wall mounth port.
Do you have a same experience?
    Please advise....
    Thanks and regards

    Folks,
I had this problem with my PC (windows 7, 64-bit) and my iPad. After messing with it for a long time, I finally found the answer (bad USB driver). The following two step process should help resolve these kinds of problems more quickly.
The first step is to verify that the iPad (or iPhone) is really connected to your computer. This can be (really) checked using a program called USBDeview. You can get this (very small) program from http://download.cnet.com/USBDeview/3000-2094_4-10614190.html or http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html. Don't worry, it's not Spyware or Malware.
Just run the program and sort on the 'Connected' column. If your iPad or iPhone doesn't show up as Yes (under 'Connected') then your iDevice is not properly connected to your computer. Could be a cable problem. Could be an iDevice problem. Could be a USB hub problem. Note that your iDevice might be listed as what it is (iPad or iPhone) or it might be listed as 'Apple Mobile Device USB Driver' in the 'Description' column.
Apple has a number of ideas to resolve this sort of basic connectivity issue, including switching USB ports, resetting your iDevice, rebooting your iDevice, rebooting your computer, etc. You will need to try them until your iDevice shows up in USBDeview as 'Yes' under Connected.
If you iDevice shows up as 'Yes' under connected, it should also be visible in the Device Manager (found in the Windows 7 Control Panel under Hardware and Sound). You might find it under Portable Devices or it might be under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
The iDevice may or may not show up in the Windows Explorer. On some machines it does, on others it does not. Why is not clear.
If the Idevice is properly known to Windows and iTunes can't see it, then any number of other things could be wrong. Apple has a list. See the very useful page over at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538. Testing shows that the Apple Mobile Device service must be running. Check this using Task Manager (started by right clicking the taskbar). Note that the iPod service and the iphlpsvc service must also be running. These services have different names under the Processes table versus the Services tab of Task Manager.
    AppleMobileDeviceService.exe - Apple Mobile Device
    iPodService.exe                     - iPod Service
    ItunesHelper.exe                    - iphlpsvc
Step 4 of http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 checks if the Apple Mobile Device USB is installed. This is essential and a common source of problems. In at least some cases, Windows will install the 'MTP USB' driver. Indeed, Windows will reinstall this driver if you uninstall it. The MTP USB driver is essentially a Windows bug (possibly caused by Microsoft). You MUST replace the MTP USB driver with the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver. Step 4 explains how to do this. Note that you MUST use the 'Have Disk' approach. Otherwise, Windows will just reinstall the invalid MTP driver.
The Apple doc indicates that you can find the correct driver at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. Perhaps this is correct on some systems. You may find the correct driver in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
iTunes could make this a lot easier by checking if the iDevice is known to Windows (what USBDevier does) and if the Apple Mobile Device USB driver is properly installed for the iDevice. Sadly it doesn't perform either check. Note that iTunes does if some of the related services (see above) are actually running.

  • My iPhone and iPad aren't detected by iTunes but iPod classic syncs

My iPhone and iPad aren't detected by iTunes but iPod classic syncs. I have re-installed iTunes, reset devices etc. The iPad and iPhone charges through the computer and Windows 8 recognises them.

  • How to setup my wife's iPad to share our joint iTunes account

I have an ipad2.  I have an apple ID.  My wife and I have always shared my iTunes account on our 1 home pc.  My wife just got herself an ipad2.  I need help setting up her iPad so that we can share iTunes, but keep everything else separate.  Do I need to get her a separate apple ID or use mine?  We would like to be able to video chat, and I can't figure out how we would do that with the same apple id.  I have already logged into her iPad with my ID, so if I need to change it, how do I do that?

If you connect her iPad to your computer's iTunes and select it on the left-hand side, then on the right-hand side you can use the various tabs (Music, Apps etc) to control which of the iTunes content to sync to it - and that selection should be remembered each time you connect it, so you can control what goes onto each iPad. That way you can share iTunes content and you only need to have the one iTunes account
In terms of FaceTime and Messages then you can assign your own email address (you don't need separate iTunes accounts) to those apps on your own iPads : Settings > Messages > Receive At and similarly Settings > FaceTime

  • HT1414 How do you even get the iPad to show up in iTunes if it is locked?  It keeps saying that it can't open the device without the passcode... I don't understand how I am suppose to get into iTunes to fix it when the problem is that I don't know the pas

Can anyone please help?  Thank you!

You need to use recovery mode and this explains how to do it. You will lose everything on the iPad and will have to either sync with iTunes to get all of your content back or download it all again using the purchased tabs in the iStores on the iPad.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4097
Or you can follow these Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
    Use iTunes to restore iPad.

  • How do you convert mp4 for ipad (.m4v) in the latest itunes?

I used to be able to do it in the old itunes under advanced tab. But can't find anywhere on the new itunes?

, but after I added a new track to accompany the MP4 track, GB will not record on the new track...?
Thi should work. At least it does in my GB version '11. What is your version?
Just to be sure - some basic things to check :
Is your new track a software instrument track or a real instrument track? It the type of the track does not match the type of instrument you are using (software or real) you will not be able to record.
Is the track ensabled for recording and the correct track selected?

  • IPad Not Being Detected by iTunes

All of a sudden, iTunes has stopped recognizing my iPad when it's connected. This wasn't a problem a couple of days ago and now it is.
iTunes may have been updated recently, so that may be it.
The only way I can get iTunes to recognize my iPad is to restart to Apple device detection service or to restart my computer, both of which are a PITA.
How do I revert to the old version of iTunes? I think that is the problem.
P.S. Now, and this is new, whenever I connect my iPad to my computer I am asked on the iPad to trust this computer. I keep replying yes, but that doesn't do any good. Every time I replug in the iPad, I am asked that question again.
P.P.S. Up to date Pre-Air iPad and Windows 8.1

So now none of my work-arounds are working and I am unable to sync anything to my iPad.
P.S. Now it looks like the issue was the stupid "Trust this computer" pop-up on the iPad, which I didn't think to check for (because I've clicked "Trust" at least 20 times before).

  • My iPad is not detected in itunes

I just got the newest version of itunes in my computer. I have windows 8 64-bits installed.  I can't get my ipad 1 or my iphone 4 to get connected to itunes  but they show up in the explorer. I don´t have ios7 in eather and before the upload everything worked fine.

Try to update to IOS 7 on both devices and then try connect to computer and see if ITunes recognizes them.  The newest Itunes just may not be able to read older versioned Iphones and Ipads.  Also try maybe unistalling itunes then installing a new copy and see if it will read devices then.

  • How can i get my iphone 4 to be detected by iTunes

Ok, so i've got windows xp on a laptop and have installed itunes 11. I have attached my iphone via the white usb/serial cable and it appears as a camera in "my computer", but when i open itunes, it doesn't appear.
I've trolled the internet for solutions and i've also seen the KB article on apple stating that i need to update the driver. I've done this several times.
I have rebooted the device whilst attached to the laptop several times.
I have moved the device to another USB port several times.
i have deleted and re-installed itunes a few times too.
How can i get itunes to detect the phone.
Your time and patience and a working solution are greatly required and are greatly appreciated.
