How should i know nokia bluetooth dun supported ph...

before i buy any new nokia phone, how should i know if given nokia phone support Bluetooth dun profile.
i have installed bluevpn app on my samsung tab and it connects to my nokia n8 via bluetooth to access internet coz n8 support bt dun profile.
i also have nokia 114(nokia s40) but bluevpn never recognize it, maybe nokia 114 bluetooth does not support dun profile.
one more thing how does nokia 6700 has dun profile, its old s40 phone where as my nokia 114 is new s40 phone.
thanks.

well Abi99, 12year wait is over, always check official page for every detail.
between, when you check nokia 301 official global page it shows dun profile under bluetooth specification.
http://www.nokia.com/global/products/phone/301/specifications/#hardware
and now when you check nokia 301 india page it dont show dun profile support under bluetooth specification.
http://www.nokia.com/in-en/phones/phone/301-dual-sim/specifications/#hardware
i know  nokia 301 support dial up networking(DUN)
people are getting intellegent, they read each and every spec before they buy, nokia should not make mistakes like this.

  • How can i know if DAQ hw support "buffered task" and "Sample Timing Hw"?

    Hi,
    i'm choosing the corrent DAQ hw for my application. I read in the NI-DAQmx documenation that if would use the DAQmxRegisterEveryNSamplesEvent(..) function, the hw should support the "bufferd tasks". How Can i know what DAQ device support this feature? Then, I know not all the DAQ device support the "Sample timing hardware". How can i know what DAQ hw use this timing type? Does the NI PCI-6220/6221 support these features?
    Thanks in advace.
    PS: sorry .. but i'm new of "NI World".

    All of the Multifunction I/O (MIO) products, including the PCI-622x products, support hardware timing and buffered analog input tasks.
    In general, if a product's specifications include the analog input sample rate (e.g. "up to 200KS/s") then that means the product supports hardware timing and buffered analog input.

    It all depends. You don't NEED anything, Firefox runs just fine with it's default setup, and you don't need to install anything to fully experience the best of the web. But lets say you don't like ads. Install Adblock plus. Lets say you want to change themes, there are dozens of them. It's all personal preference.

  • How should I know if download was real?

    How should I know if the download I agreed to this morning was ligitimate? The message said version 10 with a 2 or something. But I see no changes in anything now. I am currently running version 9 (apparently). I find it annoying when asked and just went ahead and said YES (please go away). Clues?

    There is only an Adobe Reader 9 icon on the desktop, and there is only a version 9 program in my programs files. Like I said, no evidence of version 10. What downloaded did have numbers something like 10.0.2  There is an icon in the program files that reads after clicking that a version of  Adobe AIR is needed and not there. Again, everything is working fine otherwise. It's just that I did not ask for this at any time in the past, so I kinda resent Adobe having a program that pops up uncontrolled and unexpectedly, downloads something upon my clicking yes, and then disappears. Again, I'm not a computer-guy; everyone needs Reader for basic downloading of documents, but I'd prefer leaving it up to me and when I can't download documents any more, then I'd do something (an appropriate time for something to invite me to update). So when I'm invited (and not even on line) and I do something and get nothing, I just get slightly concerned. I should have kept responding "no" forever or until my version 9 stopped working. But in reality, if something toxic had gotten that far into my computer, would it have asked me to download something (with an Adobe face), or would it just go ahead and continue "infecting"? Thanks for your feedback. Anyone else know about these uninvited opportunities to update?

    NEXT SERVER IS DOWN! org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE:   vmcid: SUN  minor code: 201  completed: No when i am running a function on a remote object reference
    i have catched the exception and that is why the msg NEXT SERVER IS DOWN is printed..but how can i handle all the previous msgs?
    i searched a lot on the internet and i cannot find how to catch this error...
    all these msg seem to come from the java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect but i dont have any statement that i can include in a catch try block so that i can do sth with that..(maybe print a msg..)
    btw the line from my code that this msg is refering to is the following
    try{
         //call next server
            nextServerRef.translationService(objRef, buffer);
    //      catch(java.net.ConnectException e){
    catch(Exception e){
              System.out.println("NEXT SERVER IS DOWN! "+e);
               }and btw i cannot include this code to the ConnectException because it keeps complaining that this code cannot throw this exception....
    any advice????
    ps.i have posted a specific msg to the rmi subforum...but i am trying to undestand the general process ..to look the wood not the trees;-)

    If the runtime exception occurs in a method that doesn't either catch it or declare it as being thrown, and you can't change the method, then there's not much you can do except diverting the output to a non-visible location, or a null sink.
    If you can change the method, you can either catch the exception and substitute your message, or you can change it to throw the method, and then catch the exception in a higher enclosing method, as I show:
    public static void main(String[] args)
        try
            some_method();
        catch (ConnectException ce)
            System.out.println("NEXT SERVER IS DOWN");
    static void some_method() throws ConnectException
        throw new ConnectException(); // create the exception
    }

  • Nokia Bluetooth Passing Contacts Info

    I recently purchased an Xlink BT device to replace my home phone line. It works great in linking up my cell phone and my wife's so we can use our home phones.
    The problem is that the bluetooth connections is not passing my contacts info to the caller id display. My wife has a Motorola phone which passes hers just fine but my Nokia 6620 does not do so.
    The technical support people for the Xlink were helpful on another issue but said this one is related to Nokia's bluetooth link not passing contact information to their unit and there was nothing they could do about it.
    Does anyone know how to get the Nokia bluetooth connection to pass that information?
    Thanks... Mark

    Caller ID is actually a network function. Sounds like Caller ID is not activated on your account. You should contact your network and ask them to activate it for you.

  • How did you know your idevice will be activation lock ?

    I bought used iPad mini (only the body) at present it's work well I could use my Apple ID, buy some apps and update the FW via OTA. I heard from amny person If I restore and maybe it could not work unless I do not know the username and password of the previous owener (Activation Locked). My iPad mini will be a piece of junk only.
    My question is how did I know my current iPad mini will be Activation Locked if I do the restore ? Do we have the method to check ?

    And how should I know my device was enabled the Find my Phone already ?
    The way to know would be to look in the iCloud settings to see if Find My iPhone is set. If you can't set into those settings, then it's highly probable that it's set and hence Activation Lock will be in effect.
    Because If the previous was never enable it, it should be ok from Activation lock right ?
    If you are certain that the previous owner never set up Find My iPad, then Activation Lock would not be a concern.
    Regards.

    Yes, the BH-111 and like any other Nokia Bluetooth headsets supports mute function during active calls.
    To Mute or unmute the microphone just press the play/pause button on the device.

    Hi atulg9
    Unfortunately I don't know from which part of the world you are posting, but in the UK you can always check a phone's authenticity by visiting:
    http://www.recipero.com/recipero/products/checkmend/home.ikml
    This would tell you that a given IMEI should be a Nokia **** manufactured by Nokia corporation.
    Hope this might help you.
