I'm a Nokia's user who lived in China...
I used the Nokia N72 to connection with a mac so it can be work (using a Nokia Muultimedia Transfer)
I bought a N78 yesterday.It's so cool in the FP2 OS.but it can't be work on Mac(Nokia Multimedia Transfer).I changed the N73 to N78 from iSync,it can be work.
How soon can Nokia Multimedia Transfer support the nokia N78

Hi,
I think Nokia has updated NMT. If you are running NMT 1.3, you can check for updates from within the application which will bring the latest version of the application down but Still NMT 1.3 Beta.
But the web site has NOT been updated yet(Still no support for N78).
Check now...........

    You can logout of the currently logged in account by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and you can then log in with a different account (you can't transfer content from one account to another account).  But if you turn on automatic downloads for an account, use iTunes match or re-download its past purchases then you risk tying your iPhone (and the same principle applies to computers) to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
    If you want past purchases from an account, then do you have all of your content from both accounts on your computer's iTunes so that you can sync them over ?

    Download Nokia Multimedia Transfer
    Connect the device and select PC suite mode in the device
    Then click the icon on the menu bar, and go to tools and settings
    Then select check for updates now with the device connected.
    The device profile will be downloaded.
    Restart Nokia Multimediate Transfer and lauch again

    Just a note for people who are as non observant as I was and who might find this useful...
    My Nokia 6700 slide wouldn't sync, no matter what I did and even when I installed:

    or wrote my own plugins...
    For some reason, by default, my Nokia came with Sync settings disabled on the phone.
    So to remedy this, go to:
    Settings > Connectivity > Sync >
    And select all the things you want to sync before you run iSync.  I missed this in the manual, I spent about 8 hours trying to fix it and all to no avail until I found this simple ommission.
    Also, if you need to uninstall the nokia isync plugin, just go to:
    /Library/PhonePlugins
    and delete the relevant files.

    Books ordered from your areas are shipped from Elk Grove. The iPhoto Book ordering window offers 2 shipping options--standard and express. The cost for the express was about twice that of standard, but the 'ships in 2-3 business days' statement was the same for both choices.
    I have always used the standard shipping, and from the time I placed the order until receipt of the books has been about 5 days.
    I think you are overly optimistic (and quite a bit unrealistic) to think that you can order a book on a Thursday night and have it to turn in for your assignment by Monday!
    You CAN save the book as a PDF file and print the pages yourself so you can have something to turn in prior to getting the book:
    Select 'Print' under the File menu bar. After the automatic 'Assembling book' you will see a print screen that has an option for PDF on the lower left. It is a dropdown bar, so you choose 'Save as PDF' and the location for the file. You can then print the file.

    Thanks for your suggestion. I have already sent a message, using your link address, to Meg Whitman. It was polite and professional. I simply asked why HP would not support their good customers when their products failed in such a dangerous and obvious manner. That was almost two weeks ago. I believe that no response from anyone at HP is an indication of their corporate philosophy.....don't acknowledge a problem until it becomes a "universal" problem. Apparently I'm the only one to have this experience.

    If you mean the language of use then you can find it in settings-phone settings- language settings.
    If you want it in writing a message then menu-messages-create message- options-writing language- Hindi.
    If it is not present as option then you may first need to set the phone language to Hindi & try again.
    If even by that you do not get an option then you need to get the language pack installed at an authorised Nokia Care centre. Please note that if you format the phone or reinstall the firmware the language pack will be removed & you will need to get it installed again.

    I've just signed up to a new infinity broadband package which includes this BTwifi business. My services are being put in until the 8th of Feb (Too long to wait without the internet ) but when can I actually start using the BT wifi service?
    Do I have to wait until my services are actually installed or can I use the BT wifi service straight away?

    Is this for a BT Residential Infinity product or a BT Business Infinity product?
    I know that if it's a BT Residential broadband product then your @btinternet username and password will not become active till your broadband activation day, therefore you will not be able to use your free BTWifi access till the username has become active.
    You can though, pay for BTWifi access in the mean time.
    The above applies for BT Retail Residential Broadband products, not quite sure about BT Business products.

    If you like MixRadio, you have to go for a streaming subscription now (MixRadio+) which does not involve any vouchers anymore, but requires a credit-card, at least in my country. Did that help?

  • How soon will IOS 7 be upgraded?

    I've tried everything in order to downgrade IOS 7 back to IOS 6.1.4 for my Iphone 5 but apparently this is just not an option for a public user. (It seems that beta testers were able to restore IOS 6 until IOS 7 was released to the public but not now???.)
    I'm sure there are many useful new features of the IOS 7 but visually everything is extremely disturbing. The bright colors on bright white backgrounds are very stark and garish and the icons are like ugly little square balloons with ugly little images on them.
    Even text messages are awful. My husband sends me just a smilely face  : ) throughout the day and I've always loved how the shape of the text bubble looked like a little face. Don't gag on that, I know it sounds sugary and dumb but it's always been very important to me.
    Furthermore, the buttons and fonts for the apps I use the most such as my contacts list, the calendar, my text messages and even my music have had everything changed and moved around and it's incredibly difficult for me to read the screen now. All the text seems to blend together. For example: the alphabet headers in the contacts list; they are the same size and color as the names on my list so nothing seems to be seperated and I have to concentrate in order to pick a name where before I could just glance at the phone and choose a name with a swipe of my thumb. The calendar is especially awful with the whole thing being a grey and white grid with nothing standing out such as scheduled appointments. Bear with me on this muddled explanation - I'm neither a language whiz nor a computer techie, just an average cell phone user.
    I know I'm capable of getting used to most of these changes but I'm not going to get past how ugly and childish this IOS is visually and how awkard all the buttons/swipes are. If I can't change these two points I may end up diching the IPhone and going to a competitor's brand. That's how important these issues are to me. The "easy on the eyes and easy on the brain" appeal is the reason I went with an IPhone in the first place all those years ago. I like things simple (the grass is green and the sky is blue) but up-to-date and useful and until now Apple was always the way to go. Now, I'm not so sure.
    So, now that I 've stood on my soapbox and shouted out my gripe (hopefully Apple will listen as I'm not the only one complaining) MY QUESTION is:
    Will Apple provide an update to IOS 7 that either fixes the visuals and awkardness or at least gives us the option to choose the old IOS 6 styling? And if so, how soon can we expect this update? (It better be pretty darn quick!)

    Sorry, Apple has made no announcement regarding iOS 7, thus no one here will know.
