How start setup step by step ?
Hello, ... I've got a problem with my MSI 925X Neo 54G PE motherboard (electric current short cut down) and I want to know how start setup step by step to find troubleshoots ? Thanks.
When I press on/off button, computer start normaly and stop during setup with message :
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
The problem, there is no error message before and I don't know where is the troubleshoot during setup sequence.
I already try to rescue system with WinXP CDROM : fixboot and fixmbr ... but nothing do. If I press F8 during setup I can access to boot screen and when I choose my HDD, Win start normaly with all its function ok.
I already have a troubleshoot like this there is six month ago, and solution have been to modify BIOS setup. So, my hope is to run setup step by step to find troubleshoot message and post it here. Thanks.

TMS - step-by-step example on how to setup and test TMS
I have installed ECC6 (AS ABAP) on NW2004s on Oracle, Windows platform. This is a 1-system landscape.
I would like to work hands-on with Transport Management System(TMS). I have read the theory part.
I need a document that shows how to setup a test TMS (transport route, package e.t.c.) , create a test transport, export and import the test transport in a 1-system landscape?
I'm looking for a simple test case that will help me understand TMS.
ThanksHi,
For single system landscape..
Go 000, DDIC ... STMS--> here it will ask for domain controller -- give self domain ---> Domain controller has been assigned .
Now again goto STMS> System overview>SAP SYSTEM >Create ->Virtual system- give name V<SID>
till this point your domain controller is created and virtual system is created .Next our aim is to setup STMS
again goto STMS>transport routes> change > configuration>statndard configuration ---> select second option (development and productino System ) because here your dev system will your own system and virtual system would be production system .
---> pop up will come -> give DEV - SID and Productino SID- it willl automatically create the route .
Save this and exit.
This way We can set single system landscape.
Thanks and Regards,

Logon of user in client failed when starting a step
Hi All,
I have a question. (Might be simple to many).
<b>Logon of user in client failed when starting a step.</b>
Some of my scheduled jobs are getting cancelled due to the above error. It has been noted that the user corresponding to that job has been locked.
Can anybody suggest how to change the user of a Background Job (without deleting and re-creating the same).
Thanks and Regards
DevanandHi
You cannot change the owner of the job once it is in released status.
Better, create the job with same varient by an existing user and delete the cancelled job.

Sandy.Do the components go to the same painting supplier?
If yes perhaps think about this.
Have the requisitions get created at the release of the work order.
Don't have any leadtime built into the operation to paint red...have the leadtime in paint blue.
Both can go out at the same time...and come back at the same time without any additional time built in.
Does this work for you? -
Accounting Setups - Step Complete
Hi all. I am new to Oracle R12.
I am in the process of Accounting Setups - Reporting Currencies.
I mistakenly clicked on Complete in the Reporting Currencies - Setup Step.
It is now showing Green but I need to update the Currencies entries.
Is there any way of opening up a Step once the Setup Step has been ticked as completed?
Thanks...You took the trouble to create a thread to ask others for help; you took the trouble to reply saying you figured it out; you took the trouble to mark the thread as answered.
Can you take the trouble to post the solution so other people who have the same problem in future can get help? -
What is Reconciliation ? and how to perform step by step?
What is Reconciliation ? and how to perform step by step?
Hi Rajasekhar MP
Reconciliation is nothing but the comaprision of the values between BW target
data with the Source system data like R/3,JD edwards,Oracle,ECC or SCM or
SRM.
In general this process is taken @ 3 places one is comparing the info provider
data with R/3 data,Compare the Query display data with R/3 or ODS data and
Checking the data available in info provider kefigure with PSA key figure values..
Hope itz clear a little atleast...!
Thanks & Regards
