  • How sync iPad with iPhoto

When I try to sync my iPad with iPhoto from iMac not work. Why? Please give me a solution. Thank you.

What happens when you try, and how are you doing it ? To sync photos to the iPad you need to do it via your computer's iTunes i.e. select the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your Mac's iTunes and on the Photos tab on the right-hand side of iTunes selecting iPhoto as where to sync photos from.
If you are trying to copy photos off the iPad, then photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit or saved from emails/websites should be recognised, but photos that were originally synced from a computer won't be.

  • Cannot sync ipad with Outlook 2010 contacts. help

I called techsupport when I was unable to sync my Outlook 2010 contacts with my Ipad2. The techie told me I could only sync from earlier versions of Outlook (seems kinda dumb).  She said I could sync from my gmail contacts but when I tried this gmail told me "25% of the content in your content will change on your computer". Ideas?

    The iPad manual says :
You can sync contacts with applications such as Mac OS X Address Book, Yahoo! Address Book, and Google Contacts on a Mac, or with Yahoo! Address Book, Google Contacts, Windows Address Book (Microsoft Outlook Express), Windows Vista Contacts, or Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 on a PC. (On a Mac, you can sync contacts with multiple applications. On a PC, you can sync contacts with only one application at a time.)
So you should be able to sync contacts from Outlook 2010.  I don't think Outlook 2010 was supported on the original iPad until iOS 4.2+ was installed, but the iOS on the iPad 2 has (I think) always been high enough.
What happens when you try ?

  • Sync iPad with Mac and PC

I want to sync my iPad with both my Mac and PC and it must not delete stuff from the other machine.

iOS devices are primarily designed to be synced with one computer only. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1474
If you manually manage your media, rather than automatically sync it, you can kind of do what you want.
If your two computers are both on the same network, use iTunes Home Sharing feature.

  • When I sync iPad with Mac my photos are not loaded

I Recently erased my Mac prior I backed it up to an external drive when I reloaded the information when I sync my Ipad the photos I have on the iPad are not there

I'm not sure where the photos aren't - after syncing are they not on your iPad, or are expecting syncing to copy them from your iPad to  your Mac ?
If not on the iPad then what type of photos are they ? If they were originally synced from your Mac then did your restore of your Mac put those photos back where they were on your Mac, and they are still selected on the iPad's Photos tab in your iTunes for syncing to the iPad ?

  • How do I sync Ipad with Mac OS 10.6.4

How do I sync my Iphone, Ipad and computer?

Please get the iPad iOS 4 user guide.
If you want to know if you can sync both separately the answer is, "Yes," provided each device has a different name. iTunes will keep track of each.

  • Syncing ipad with Mac OSX 10.4.11

I have OSX 10.4.11. Why does my new IPAD not appear in the devices list on itunes?

Your Mac must meet these requirements in order to run Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
    System Requirements:
Mac computer with an Intel processor
    1GB of memory
    5GB of available disk space
    DVD drive for installation
Some features require a compatible internet service provider: fees may apply.
From the Apple Icon in the upper left corner of your screen and go to About This Mac to find out if your Mac meets the requirements.

Connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes. Look under 'info' and you may need to scroll down. The option will be there to sync your outlook calendar (or more) with the iPad. Choose what you want and sync to 'save' the settings.

Any way to sync sent/received email messages on iPad with Mac computer?

The easiest way is to use an IMAP mail account exclusively. Stay away from "On My Mac" mailboxes/folders and POP3 accounts.

  • I've synced iPad with iTunes, but it keeps telling me that there are purchases on my iPad that need to be transferred?

I've synced iPad with iTunes, but it keeps telling me that there are purchases on my iPad that need to be transferred before I can run the iOS update or I will lose them.  What should I do?  How do I figure out what purchases have not been transferred?   I went into iTunes on my Mac and ran "Check for available downloads" and I still get same message.

The 'cehck for available downloads' checks if there is anything in the store that you haven't yet downloaded, it won't copy anything from the iPad. Have you tried doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases ?

    Hi,
The devices must be synced using iTunes, not from one device to another.
