Selected iPhoto albums are transferred to your iPhone but not selected iPhoto Events?
If so, try delecting Sync Photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync. This will remove all photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your Mac.
Follow this by reselecting Sync Photos making your selections below followed by another sync.

Ok, let's try this again. Unfortunately it seems to be impossible to edit your own entry which is bit weird (this is 2012 isn't it? -- Ah.. it depends on the browser one is using).
Anyway, this is what I ran into:
I protected the iPhone via passcode and therefore restrict access.
After connecting the iPhone for the first time to my computer I'm asked to enter the code so it can access the protected data.
That's fine, but now I need to revoke the clearance for this computer to access the iPhone.
And what got me nervous is that after creating a new user account on a Windows 7 machine and fireing up iTunes it could access my data as well. That seems to be a major security problem.
Anyone can help me with this?

All photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library.
When transferring multiple albums or a single album, the photos in the albums below are not duplicated as in taking double the storage capacity for the photos. Photos in an album or albums below include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library.
This way you can view the photos in an album only by selecting the album, or all photos in all albums by selecting Photo Library. Makes more sense when transferring multiple photo albums from your computer but the same applies when transferring a single album or folder of photos.
The same applies to iTunes playlists. A song placed in a playlist is not duplicated.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? If contacts on each iPhone are being synced direct with the same supported address book app on the computer via the iTunes sync process, deselect Sync Contacts under the Info tab for the iPhones that you don't want synced with the same address book followed by a sync.
If each iPhone is sharing the same Apple iCloud account with Contacts enabled for over the air syncing, each iPhone needs its own iCloud account.

Aperture photos to iPhone via iTunes problem

I have just created an Aperture 3 library, and am trying to put some photos on my iPhone via iTunes.
In the Photos tab of iTunes, when I select Aperture the option to sync "selected albums" is greyed out...I can only select "all photos and albums".
With the iPhoto selected I can chose "selected albums".
Any ideas?

Found the answer..."Selected Albums" option is not available until Aperture has finished building previews for the entire library.

You can access the photos on your phone via Image Capture (in the Applications Folder) or iPhoto, not iTunes.

Your apps / music / photos etc are stored in iTunes on your computer.
Just do the Restore then re sync your iTunes media.
