    I have purchased and used Adobe Products for 25+ years and I own CS6 Design Standard outright. 
    I  had previously  subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud  but did not renew the annual subscription. 
    The CS6 Design Standard serial number is listed in my Adobe user account.    I have run the the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaning tool, uninstalled  the Adobe Creative Cloud App and all other CC apps from my iMac.  I reinstalled  fresh copies of the CS6 software two different times, first from  my CS6 DVD disk and then from the  Adobe Download page.  During each installation of CS6, all seemed to run normally and I was prompted to enter the license number and it was accepted.  However, when trying to open the software after completing the installation, I am being prevented from doing so without renewing the Creative Cloud  subscription. 
    Who knows of a solution to this problem? 
    Contacting Adobe’s Chat support and Customer Support portal has not resulted in a solution, even though they have confirmed the license number as being accurate and linked to my account.  After weeks of waiting on their responses, yesterday I was told to go to the Forums to find a solution….Please Help Me….Thanks

  • CS6 Apps Asking to "Renew Your Subscription" for Creative Cloud, for some reason.

    Hi community,
    I recently purchased a retail version of CS6 Production Premium because I did not like software as a service/Creative Cloud. Unfortunately, I got a good deal and tried it for a year. I did not renew, and removed all the CC apps.
    When I try to open any of the CS6 Applications, a window pops up asking me to renew my subscription to CC. This software has nothing to do with my CC membership, I purchased it in a separate, one-time retail payment. I have looked at the various other threads around and have tried all of the solutions mentioned: Including uninstalling and reinstalling, running the cleaner tools, checking the host and certificate files, no luck. I spoke to several people in several chat instances, all recommending a reinstall of software, no help.
    All I am trying to do here is run some software with a serial code I just purchased from Adobe, officially. Is there a way I can just activate it offline? I tried to do it per the instructions but do not have an option to "generate a response code". Am I being punished?

    I need to colaborate with a someone, but I don`t want them to use my second computer.

    Is the colloboration just getting feedback from someone or will they be working on files too using the Adobe applications like Photoshop for example?
    If it is just feedback from comments you can use the Share feature and enable commenting. This someone can comment and they do not even have to sign up to the Creative Cloud with an Adobe ID.
    If this someone needs to work on the files too they can sign up for a Free account and will be able to use any of the Adobe applications in the Creative Cloud for 30 days. They will have 2GB of space to upload files to share back with you.
    If the collaboration will last a bit longer than 30 days they could sign up for month-to-month account for either the Creative Cloud or just a single application (if you only are collaborating using a single app). The month-to-month price is more expensive than an annual contract but cheaper than one year if you only need to collaborate for 2 to 3 months.

  • When reverting to purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), how do I eliminate request to renew my subscription?

    Creative Cloud just wasn't working for me, so after several years of frustration with being abroad and not online when the program decided to require online verification, I'm ditching Creative Cloud and reverting to the purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product. However, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), it still wants to go online and check my CC subscription, disallowing use of the newly installed point product version from a several year-old ESD file (and the more recent AcrobatUpd11010.dmg file).
    Anyone have an idea of how to eliminate request to renew my subscription?
    If, as a journalist, I've have these issues over the past two years, including this final insult when I'm trying to get away from CC, it can't be a one-off problem. So I'd like to hear details about others who've had a similar issue with reverting from CC back to a point product or to CS.

    I am using German OS therefore maybe the items are called differently in English:
    1) Go into the main menu
    2) Select "Alerts"
    3) select the Profile you like to adjust
    4) Select App Alerts
    5) Select Email
    6) You sould see your 3 mail accounts listed
    7) Select the one you like to "mute" and you can set everything (sound, LED, vibration etc. individually for this acount)

    Kindly refer : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.

    Problem: I can not use my Adobe account, for install Creative cloud (PS & Lr), on the second computer. Creative Cloud offers me to buy Ps CC & Lr. But only if you start Ps programm ask me to enter the key, Lr is started without the key requirements.
