How the tables got analyzed?

new to the work. and have not done the dba work for a few years.
a couple weeks ago got a cloned production's db to work on in the dev server. the db is 11.2.0.3.
I found some of the tables got analyzed on 2/15 after the cloned made, which shown as the LAST_ANALYZED in the view DBA_TABLES. But Found no related jobs in dba_jobs.
how could ?

Maybe autotask, look for it at dba_scheduler.

But my requirement is more on corresponding CRM Tables , the data fetching from R/3 tables will store in which CRM tables.To be clear the adopter objects extract the data from different R/3 tables but stores in to which tables?

Full loads and how the tables in BW are rebuilt

I have a question. If i am doing full loads every time how does the underlying BW table look. for example if I have 100 records the 1st time, then 80 what is the record count in the BW table? does it do some sort of automatic deletion every time so it has 80 records?

For cube if you load the same data Key Figure values will be added when you report on it. So, the cube fact table will have double entries. If you want to add/ modify / delete data from the cube then probably you should go for delta loads.

How is the table MCHB populated?

Dear SDNers,
Need your input on how the table MCHB gets populated?
for ex. when i create material master mm01 and save, material gets created and an entry is made in master table.
Similarly, how /what tcode is processed to update the table MCHB.
I am looking for field CLABS, as to how this is getting populated.
Effort by me:
I looked at the where used list for the table mchb and was able to locate a standard report RM07KO01- Stock consistency check. In this there is an include RM07KOF4 which contains perform update_mchb.
I am not able to locate the code as to where this table is getting values populated from.
Am i being right in my search ? if not please guide me.

There are various T-Codes for it..

How to find who dropped the table

Hi Gurus,
Is there a way beside auditing to know who dropped the table,i know we could use logminer for that but the thing is that i don't have supplemental logging turned on while the table got dropped.
I think we need to have supplemental logging enabled to find who did what even for the DDL correct?
Is there any way i can find who dropped the table?

ThanksI can think about 2 different ways to do it ;
1- by using Audit http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/Auditing_10gR2.php ; if it's enabled
2- or there another method , does not give a real precision, but could be helpful if the audit is not enabled ; can be to check listener log. Listener does show database connection requests. So if you know the time the table was dropped (SELECT DROPTIME
FROM DBA_RECYCLEBIN
WHERE Owner = 'XXX'
AND ORIGINAL_NAME= 'YYYYYY'), you can see from the listener log what connected to the database at that time. (asuming that the connection request was from a remote client, not the DB server)
E.g if I found that the table were dropped at 14:45:18 then I can tell from my listener log that it is probably due to a user connected by the portal application on host portal.es6.orawiss.net:
23-AUG-2010 14:45:18 * (CONNECT_DATA=(SID=DB02)(CID=(PROGRAM=httpd)(HOST=portal.es6.orawiss.net)(USER=apache))) * (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=192.168.44.30)(PORT=60618)) * establish * DB02 * 0
Listener logs are an important source of audit information.

Automatic Optimizer Statistics Collection Enabled still tables not analyzed

We have Oracle 11g R1 database. Our automatic Optimizer Statistics Collection settings are enabled, still I don't see the tables being analyzed, any suggestions if I am missing any settings. All tables do get analyzed if I do manual statistics gathering.
SQL> select CLIENT_NAME ,STATUS from DBA_AUTOTASK_CLIENT;
CLIENT_NAME STATUS

still I don't see the tables being analyzed, post SQL & results that lead you to this conclusion.
realize that statistics can be "collected" without updating LAST_ANALYZED column.
if data within table does not change, the nothing would be gained by "updating" statistics to same values as now/before.

Table Got refreshed

I Have a issue related to Z-Tables,last week i saw few entries in a Z-Table,but today when i checked it contains more than 1000 entries,i have a doubt whether the Development box has been refrshed whether it is possible to check the dates when the table got last refreshed?

Buffering the table

guyz!
hope this post finds u all at high on spirit. over here, i am having a requirement to buffer one custom table. let me give the scenario of table access. here it goes:
1. it gets updated every month.
2. after getting updated, it is accessed.
3. i also believe that, table size is also small, i.e. size category = 0.
4. finally the access is like, mostly it will retreive only one month data, by taking all the key fields. in my case there are 5 key fields.
so can any one suggest me, which buffering type to use.

- Buffering not allowed if a table may not be buffered.
- Buffering allowed but not activated if buffering is
principally allowed for a table, but at the moment no buffering
should be active. The
buffering type specified in this case is only
a suggestion.
- Buffering allowed if the table should be buffered. In this
case a buffering type
must be specified.
The buffering type defines whether and how the table should be buffered.
There are the following types of buffering:
single-record buffering
generic area buffering
full buffering
In generic area buffering, a number of key fields between 1 and no. of key fields-1 must be specified.

Hi,
You minimize the size of the result set by using the WHERE and HAVING clauses. To increase the efficiency of these clauses, you should formulate them to fit with the database table indexes.
Database Indexes
Indexes speed up data selection from the database. They consist of selected fields of a table, of which a copy is then made in sorted order. If you specify the index fields correctly in a condition in the WHERE or HAVING clause, the system only searches part of the index (index range scan).
The primary index is always created automatically in the R/3 System. It consists of the primary key fields of the database table. This means that for each combination of fields in the index, there is a maximum of one line in the table. This kind of index is also known as UNIQUE. If you cannot use the primary index to determine the result set because, for example, none of the primary index fields occur in the WHERE or HAVING clause, the system searches through the entire table (full table scan). For this case, you can create secondary indexes, which can restrict the number of table entries searched to form the result set.

DisplayTag - got the table but the view is simple! how to get ITS mode?

I have (semi) successfully implemented a nice table using the DisplayTag

The thing is that I can see the table but it's in a simple mode! Meaning there's no color, nor borders, no look!
Wonder if anyone knows what I am missing.

How to truncate the values from the table

Hi All,
I am working on an issue..where we are first deleting all the records from the table and then based on few conditions we are putting the records back in that table...when we tried to run this program along with few others those who are doing almost the same stuff we are having issues...we tried to schedule few jobs related to these programs only...but after a ceratin amount of time couple of jobs got canceled...I was talking to my basis guy and he said the problem is ratehr then truncating the records from the table we are deleting the records and it's taking lots and lots of space to execute...so we need to truncate the records from the table insted of deleting it...we are using the following the statement right now:
    DELETE FROM ZTUS_PG.
    COMMIT WORK.
So can you please tell me how can we truncate the values from this table instead of just deleting them and what would be effect of this.

I don't think basis is saying you should delete all the records from the table. They are saying remove the table and it's contents (a much faster thing to do). I'm not sure this the right thing to do, but you can have a look at:

Thank you for your advice. I followed your directions, but came up with the same results. However, I did discover that whenever I open up the iPhoto Library that is already existing on my MacBook a certain set of pictures shows up. But then when I open up the iPhoto Library from the Hard drive another set of pictures shows up. BUT not ALL of my pictures are showing up on the iPhoto Library from the hard drive. At least the last two years of pictures are not showing up?! Actually, it appears that all the pictures are there from when I started using iPhoto about 5 years ago up until around the time that I got my iMac desktop computer and started using that (2 years ago). I have noticed that more recent videos I have made are showing up in a folder on the hard drive, but will not appear when I open up iMovie?! Any ideas on how to access my pictures from the last 2 years off of the hard drive???
