Can any one please let me know in which format the values are stored in the Calender week.year time characterstic?
is it YYYYWW or WWYYYY or YYYY.WW or WW.YYYY or YYYY/WW or WW/YYYY?????

Thanks for the prompt response. Actually I was trying to populate some values in to the calender week/year variable through the user exit.So, I got confused while updating the values in to the variable. I used the value format which you both had suggested. But no luck.
The olap control is passing out of my code successfully.
After the coming out of my inlcude program it entered in the function RRS_VAR_VALUES_EXIT_AFTER there the following if condition is met.
" IF -vartyp EQ rro04_c_vartyp-value". after that it raised the exceptions and the above message is displayed. Can you please look in to the issue.
and the message number that was shown is Message No: 00010004 with the following note :
"AError for variable in customer enhancement ZLASWK"
Can you suggest me why it went wrong and what needs to be done...?????

I am confused by how the photos are stored in the iphoto folders

I peeked into the iPhoto library to see how the photos are organized in the file system. I found that most of my photos are placed in date folders. But some folders are named after the events. In some cases, the folder names match some of the older events that I used, but since then, I have merged some events into one. e.g. iPhoto created one event for each day of my week long vacation. But after I came home, I merged all daily events into one big vacation event. So some of the daily event names no longer apply. However, I found that my photos are still in those folders. How can I tell iPhoto to organize these photos into date folder like the other photos?
I am trying to draw an analogy with iTunes. In iTunes, if I check the option to keep all the songs organized, all the songs will be relocated into a nice folder structure. I'd like to do something similar in iPhoto.

You can't. This changed with iPhoto 09 and no one knows why.

Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
The analogy with iTunes will always be limited for the simple reason that iTunes has no editing, no version control and no thumbnails. In fact the two libraries have pretty much nothing in common.

Search and Replace values in the text field before values are stored to DB

Hi,
In my application there is a question - text area and answer - text field. Problem is, some answers are stored with the single quotes to the DB and I have a problem while retrieving it from the DB. I need to replace the 1 single quotes with 2 single quotes. The values are stored to the DB when the submit button is clicked.
So I am using the following javascript code:

var str="&P2_S1.";

</script>

I need to call this javascript function, when the submit button is clicked but BEFORE the values are stored to the DB. How can i get this done?

Yeah I planned to drop the Javascript idea.
Now, I am using the PL/SQL code. This is what I am planning to do.
When the user enters any word like this, Test's, this single quote should be replaced by some special character, #@@#, - what is the PL/SQL code for this?
Right now my PL/SQL code is:
begin
update test set S1=:P2_S1 where name=:APP_USER;
end;
so the replacing part should come somewhere before the update statement.... how can I do it?
from the DB when the values are retrieved, I use the following code:
select REPLACE(s1,'''','') from test where NAME=:APP_USER; // this works fine.
Please help me with the replace of the single quote before the update process...

Education cess at PO level is not stored directly into any table, instead it is calculate at runtime using function module "PRICING" with calculation type "B".
Edu. Cess for Invoice are stored in table BSET table. You can identify the record passing condition type (KSCHL).
Manul excise condition goes to table KONV linked with EKKO-KNUMV field.

How to find that how many mailboxes are stored in each database

My question is, i have two databases in exchange 2010 server and i have around 150 mailboxes in both databases.
mdb01 & mdb02. I need to now how many mailboxes are stored in each database like
pls see example.. this is just a example..i dont no how many are stored in each datbase :-(
mdb01----20 mailbox
mdb02----130 mailboxes
and also i would like to know about the below details also
available mailboxsize in each database----DBsize---DB white space--

To see how many mailboxes you have in each database, run:
Get-Mailbox -Server <ServerName> | group database | ft Name,count -AutoSize
...and to get a hunch of how much free space you have available, run
Get-MailboxDatabase -Server <ServerName> -Status| ft Name,databasesize,available* -AutoSize
...but to get the exact amount of free space, you need to dismount the database and run
eseutil /ms

How is data stored in DSO and Infocube
InfoCubes are made up of a number of InfoObjects. All InfoObjects (characteristics and key figures) are available independent of the InfoCube. Characteristics refer to master data with their attributes and text descriptions.
An InfoCube consists of several InfoObjects and is structured according to the star schema. This means there is a (large) fact table that contains the key figures for the InfoCube, as well as several (smaller) dimension tables which surround it. The characteristics of the InfoCube are stored in these dimensions.
An InfoCube fact table only contains key figures, in contrast to a DataStore object, whose data part can also contain characteristics. The characteristics of an InfoCube are stored in its dimensions.
The dimensions and the fact table are linked to one another using abstract identification numbers (dimension IDs) which are contained in the key part of the particular database table. As a result, the key figures of the InfoCube relate to the characteristics of the dimension. The characteristics determine the granularity (the degree of detail) at which the key figures are stored in the InfoCube.
Characteristics that logically belong together (for example, district and area belong to the regional dimension) are grouped together in a dimension. By adhering to this design criterion, dimensions are to a large extent independent of each other, and dimension tables remain small with regards to data volume. This is beneficial in terms of performance. This InfoCube structure is optimized for data analysis.
The fact table and dimension tables are both relational database tables.

All InfoObjects (characteristics with their master data as well as key figures) are available for all InfoCubes, unlike dimensions, which represent the specific organizational form of characteristics in one InfoCube.

Why two FLOAT values are stored differently?

Curious as to why two FLOAT values are stored differently. Inserting
two FLOAT values one with value of 99E9 and the other with 12E-9.
Value for 99E9 was stored in the database as 99000000000 and 12E-9
was stored in the database as 1.2E-8. Why were they stored in
different formats? I am using Oracle9i

i am working on finding system resource information using WMI queries.
i want to know how the Performance values are calculated, for example as follows
find PagesInputPerSec from Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfOS_Memory.
i tried to retrieve PagesInputPerSec, running on command line as "wmic path Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfOS_Memory get PagesInputPerSec".
most of the times i am getting 0(zero) as result.
i would like to know how formatted values are calculated(formula to find) ?
P.S:
Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_Memory giving some value than zero e.g. 31908034

How the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time i delete docs from document library, where shld I check the settings for this?

I created a web application and configured rbs storage ,
I uploaded documents (for ex: 18 number)
after uploaded documents , and observed the RBS storage folder, number of files are increasing (39 number) , its working fine
and also I run the querys to check the rows increasing or not , (when I upload new doc rows are increased its fine also)
select count(*) from alldocs
Select count(*) from AllDocstreams
but when I delete some docs from document library ,
1)the doc itself deleted from document library
2)when I check the rbs storage there is no number of files are decreased(its still 39 files ), its same as before doc deleted from doc library
after some time I found the number of files are decreasing from RBS storage folder in sql server,
here I want to know the how the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time, where shld I check the settings for this? and how I control on it
here how I know the settings for cleaning up orphan BLBOS how these deleted BLOB

1. WHen you delete the file from Sharepoint, it is still present in Recycle bin. This is a default setting in sharepoint for 30 days. Once files are deleted fro Recycle bin, it can also be delete from RBS
2. There is a RBS cleanup job which deletes files from RBS. for more info check

BW 7.3 Error in DTP if the values are char for the char field

I have created a field with
Eg: Field1 CHAR 7 -> i have removed the ALPHA conversion
I am loading the data from ECC if the values are
AA0-992 or AA1-AT1 there is no issue it is getting loaded
but when i am getting the values as AAA-BBB it throws an error.
In RSKC "-" is allowed CHAR.
Can someone help becuase as this is the CHAR field it should accept

When you are recording.. you might be creating the values... ensure that they are updated into the GL before u write program. I doubt you might have missed the save ..

But my requirement is more on corresponding CRM Tables , the data fetching from R/3 tables will store in which CRM tables.To be clear the adopter objects extract the data from different R/3 tables but stores in to which tables?

you have to assign the neccessary objects need to be transported to Quality using Transport Connection in RSA1
while assigning an object if you find it is already assigned to some other request then first release the existing request and then go ahead with new request.
Always first release the Tasks and thn release the request in SE09/10
To check whether if one object is assigned to multiple requests
Go to Se03 >Objects in Requests> Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks --> Object selection --> select the respective object like cubes, ods,infoobjects > enter the technical name> and start searching
