Hi there,
Copy control is controlled by VTAA from sales order to order. For eg QT to OR.
Order to delivery VTLA
Delivery to billing VTFL
Order to billing VTFA
Billing to order (for eg invoice to credit memo req) VTAF.
Maintain the copy controls for header, item & schedule line in VTAA. Only header & item in remaining cases.
Go to VOFM --> Requirements --> Select orders, deliveries, billing as per your requirement. It will display the requirement numbers. Select the requirement num & click on documentation. It will display the requirement routine code along with the include name.
Pls note that you will need access key to change or create the routines.

You can work just like you did with html, but replace your content with wml-tags. I usually check for the accept-header in the http-reqest, to separate wap-users from web-useres:

How to copy documents from SOLAR02 configuration structure into Solution

Hi,
in SOLOA02 we have stored our cross scenario configuration in the solution structure on top level node 'configuration' as described in the help 'Implementation and Upgrade Projects'->'projects'->'configuration'->'Edit cross scenario configuration'.
During hand-over from project to support I want to copy the information stored under configuration into our solution directory (TC SOLUTION_DIRECTORY). In the solution structure there is no top level node 'configuration'. Only 'Org Unkits, Master Dtaa, Business Scenarios, Interface Scenarios, Systems, Servers.
Can I customize the default solution structure and add the missing node? Is there another way to copy the documents?

Hi Peter,
the only way to relate the configuration structure from a project to a solution is via a maintenance project. You need to assign a maintenance project to your solution (on the solution settings tab). This will create a solution node in the maintenance project. You can now copy the configuration structure from your implementation project to the configuration structure underneath the solution node of the maintenance project.

How much design control can you have with FormsCentral?

Our company's forms have a defined look, initially created in LiveCycle. I am willing to remake every last one of our many forms in order to get them online and mobile-compatible, but I'm concerned about maintaining our look. It isn't complicated, but I'd like to use our colors, logo, etc.
Can someone recommend documentation or a set of samples that will show me what the design parameters are for FormsCentral?

EFax. Can anyone explain how this works and on what printers?

HP and eFax are rather mum on how this works. Can you set the 6500a + to save incoming faxes? What are the printers that can use this?

How to apply a Copy Control to a unique Sales Organization?

Its possible by modifying the data transfer routine,
and add the validation IF SO = X then... ?

Yes if you have multiple sales organisation and for some cases, you want to have control only to a particular sales organisation, then you can implement the control via the routine assigned. But unless we know exactly what exact the control is, it is difficult to propose where you need to assign that routine.

Maintain Copy Control for Document Types.

Hi Gurus,
My Client has two customized documents both are order Types and wants to maintain Copy control between them.
If i see VTAA i can find either New Entries option or copy option.
When i go for new entries option it asks me Requirements and Routines which needs to be set for this copy control and i am not aware of those.
The Other option is Copy as but since it's customized document types so i am not getting which document should i take as refernce for copying.
Please suggest me how to proceed.

Ideally we don't gamble with standard settings. Not only in copy control but for all other settings related to document types, conditions, movement types etc etc. If standard settings or configuration has been deleted by human error then we should restore standard settings first. May be BASIS guy can do it and if it is not possible then open some other server where these settings are there and you should do all settings manually by copying the standard ones.
Why we recommend to always copy standard settings and make necessary changes is that standard settings are done by SAP and they have tested it thoroughly and they have hundreds of consultants who have worked on these settings. Standard settings are reliable and we can copy them without any fear of mistake. Whereas if you copy some Z settings or create new one then there are more chances of some wrong or missing settings. Logically may be it sounds not that important or useful but technically it is really fruitful to do this.
In standard settings system copies all subsequent settings and you don't need to do those settings again and you are already aware of this fact.
One more benefit is that you only need to change document names and in create new entry you'll have to enter all the fields one by one and you don't know which value is more appropriate for this field. It also saves time efforts and people like me always prefer to save efforts

Copy Control settings : Copy Only Manual conditions

I have following configuration in SPRO for 'copying control of item categories':
Source item category- ZSPP
Target item category - ZPQL
Copying routine - 900004
Copy Conditions - Only Copy Manual conditions
This copy control configuration will be used in 2 scenarios :
1. When creating service contract quote as follow-up to service contract
2. When creating service contract as follow-up to some other document type which is custom
My copying routine is required only for first scenario. So, I have put one conditions in my copy routine(CRM_COPY_BADi) and it is working fine. This copying routine is getting triggerd only for first scenario.
However, my another requirement is,
Copy conditions - should be "Copy Manual conditions" for scenario 1 and
Copy Conditions - should be "Copy All Conditions" for scenario 2.
So, could you please let me know, how can control this, sinca same item categories are used in both the scenarios. I can't create or change the item categories since already they are in use.
The baseliine is : I am able to control the copying routine by keeping a condition in CRM_COPY_BADI. But, at the same time I should control "COPY CONDITIONS" also.
Is there any way to control through config or coding?

If u want Z Document type then copy OR and make ur OWN SALES DOC like ZMFG and also copy F2 and create like ZFGR

Copy control error even though copy control maintained

I have searched in several forums to know the reason for this issue but I have not found anything similar to that. Could anyone please throw some light on it
1. When I create invoice (ZXYZ) from delivery (ZABC) SAP gives warning message as Delivery type ZABC cannot be invoiced with billing type F2. I have checked copy control header and item in VTFL (I donu2019t need to check the copy control configuration in VTAF as the initial order is Purchase order not sales order) and everything is correct. There is no copy control configuration between ZABC and F2, but with ZABC and ZXYZ. Not sure why system seeking for F2 when there is correct invoice type ZXYZ. Why is it so? If I enter ZXYZ manually in VF01 system creates it, but it should be derived automatically.
2. Another question is how does SAP know the correct invoice type when there is copy control entries? For example delivery type LF has copy control configuration for invoice types F1, F2, F8 etc. how does system know which invoice type among F1, F2, F8 be taken? If I have a standard order and delivery types for many sales organizations but different invoice types for them. I would configure this delivery type with many invoice types. Then how does system know which invoice type should be taken? We assign sales order type to sales area but not deliveries and invoices so how does it work?
In few threads issues like item category XXXX cannot be invoiced with F2 but i couldnt find similar issue which I have faced.
Any inputs?

It can happen because of 2 reasons -
a. in VOV8, for your sales doc type, in field "Delivery related billing" = F2
b. in VOV8, for your sales doc type, in field "Delivery related billing" = BLANK. but you have made your order type a copy of OR. The the background system is choosing F2
In this field "Del related billing" give ZXYZ and default value in VF01 shall be the same
2 how does SAP know the correct invoice type when there is copy control entries
It is coming from VOV8.
in VF01 you give a document number (order # or delivery #), based on that it goes to the sales document type in VOV8 and chooses the billing type.
You can manually change billing type in VF01, it shall work provided you have done necessary settings in copy control.
To configure if user can bill with order or with delivery, this is controlled in Item category of sales document type, field "Billing Relevance"
There are 2 parts -
part 1 - Which billing type shall be choosen, or manually entered
part 2 - This shall work only if relevant settings are done in Copy control.
+If I have a standard order and delivery types for many sales organizations but different invoice types for them. I would configure this delivery type with many invoice types. Then how does system know which invoice type should be taken?
We assign sales order type to sales area but not deliveries and invoices so how does it work?+
For both delivery (in VL01N) and for invoice (in VF01) you have the option to manually choose the document type (change from default to what you want)
Generally, if you have a different business process (E.g. Rush order) you give specific sales doc type and associated delivery type and billing type in VOV8
But if business process is same and Sales area is different, then you do not change the billing type or delivery type; for reports you can select on the basis of particular sales area or other criterion like sales org.
Having too many document types could be a disadvantage by causing errors and increased manual work (by choosing correct document type etc.)
So, please think how to configure minimum entities in SAP to satisfy your business requirements.

I have seen the documentation for 3rd Party Sales, thanks to some suggestions. However, there is a report which does not work in our Test Environment, the program name is SDMFSTRP. As suggested by some forums, this is another way of connecting Sales Order to the created Purchase Requisition. So I'd like to ask if there are other ways to connect the 3rd Party Sales to the created Purchase Requisition.
And also may I know your scenarios when there will be missing items from Sales Order to Purchase Requisition. There are some instances that from Indent Orders, some SO items are not copied to PR.

Here Z3P(Item Category) is used for 3rd party orders..
The Copy Control from LF(Delivery type)/Z3P(Item Category) to F2(Billing type) has Pricing Type u2018Yu2019.
Thus please let me know how the Pricing Type u2018Yu2019 performs/affects on this Copy Control.
Short Description of the Pricing Type says only u2018Customer reserve Yu2019 so I cannot understand it at all.

Copy control can be associated with the transfer of data between the various sales documents from a Quotation to Cash. Thus, copy control forms part of the document flow process. Copy control uses data at the header and schedule line level. Copy control determines which data is to be transfered, a copy control can be set to ensure copying of data at predefined time intervals.
