How to a Form/Library Version

Hi Guys,
I need to know the version of the .FMB or .PLL on which it was last compiled.
To be more precise i need to know the Oracle version whether 6i/9i or 10g in which the form/library was lastly compiled.
Is there any way i can find out this. I expect a favourable reply from this forum
Thanks
Guru

Hi Gerd Volberg , DanielLiang
Built in get_application_property(version) will return the patch number with which it was last compiled.
I.e it will return 6.0.8.25 if its a 6i patch or 10.1.2.0.2 if its a 10g patch.
Thought would be useful to the forum seekers and so updating the same
Thanks
Guru

  • How to Hide Form Library under Enterprise Sourcing Menu

    Hi Experts,
I am using SAP Sourcing 10.0 and trying to hide the option " Form Library" in Buyside portal which appears under
    Enterprise Sourcing-->Library--> Form Library (Attached)
I tried it via Toolbar Customization; however this particular Library section is dynamic hence no action ID present. (See Attached)
Please provide your guidance. What toolbar customization ID can be used for it? or Any other way?
    Thanks
    Dhananjay

    Hello Patil,
The path which you are referring above is a Query group which has nothing to do with toolbar customization.
Enterprise Sourcing-->Library--> Form Library is a Query group --> FCI-ProjectLibFormBuyList which is of class 1307
To my knowledge we cannot hide standard queries or query groups but you can restrict the access to the same through access list tab.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • HT1338 How to view iphoto library (version 9) in snow leopard

    Hi
I recently installed OSX Lion and then upgraded iphoto to the latest update.
My Macbook became so slow since the upgrade to Lion I backed up my iPhoto library and did a refresh install of Snow Leopard.
My Macbook works quickly again now but when I dragged my iPhoto library into the Pictures folder and then opened iPhoto I get a message saying my library has had changes to it and now I must install the latest version of iPhoto.  I don't mind this but the App Store says I need Lion to get the newest version on iPhoto.
I don't want to install Lion because it makes my Macbook too slow.
Any ideas how I can get to see all my photos in my iPhoto library?  I don't care what version of iPhoto I use.  I just don't want to lose my photos or upgrade to Lion.
    Help!!
    Thanks.
    Jon

    Thanks for your quick response.
My back up was: I copied the iPhoto Library icon from the Pictures folder located on my hard drive.
All I want to do is copy all the events back into iPhoto.  I opened the Package Content but all I see is folders labelled with numbers, years, months, days etc.  That will be an absolute nightmare to re organise!
Is there a way to convert my library back to what it was?
    Thanks
    Jon

  • How/why do forms get invalidated in R12 environment?

    Hi,
We are implementing R12 and while the functional consultants do their config setups, I get regular requests to recompile/regenerate specific forms or forms in a specific module (GL ,AP etc) in regular intervals. I want to know what is the root cause for these forms to get invalidated and is there any way to automate the regeneration of the invalid forms.

I do not think you can automate it and generating forms should be done on demand unless you write a shell script and schedule it to run on regular basis (assuming you are compiling same forms each time).

  • How to return to a former iphoto version

how can i return to a former iphoto version?

Which version do currently have and which version do you want to downgrade to? You may need to downgrade MacoS X as well, depending  on the version.
Do you still have a backup of the iPhoto Library from before the upgrade to the new version? and an installer for the older iPhoto version?
    Then try this:
Make a current backup of your Mac, including your current iPhoto library, without overwriting the older one you want to restore from.
Export all events from your current iPhoto library, that have been added after the upgrade to the current version.
Delete the current iPhoto.app and reinstall the older version using the installer. Yu may need to run the updaters from Aplle's Suport page to get to the version you want.
Restore the backup of the older iPhoto library.
Import the previously exported new events.
Downgrading is a lot of bother. Don't do it with a very compelling reason.

  • How to populate drop down list in infopath 2010 with form library column

I created one column of choice type and have put 3 values on this column in form library in site.
and one drop down list in form library at infopath 2010 but how to populate the dropdown in infopath populate with this column.

Hi John, you should either add the values to your InfoPath dropdown manually or create a new list in SharePoint with the values and make a connection to that list to populate your dropdown.

  • How to hide the file name (the bizarre number assigned by the camera) when exporting an image version in aperture from an album. Pl understand I want to keep the file name in the project library version.

how to hide the file name (the bizarre number assigned by the camera) when exporting an image version in aperture from an album. Pl understand I want to keep the file name in the project library version.

Within Aperture you have Images, which are constructed on-the-fly from two files (the Master and the Version).  You get an image-format file _only_ when you export an Image.  You select the file name (usually a scheme) when you create an image-format file (that is, when you export).  Look under "Aperture→Presets→File Naming" for built-in Presets.  You can, of course, create your own or customize any provided.
The Preset is applied to only the file newly created by your "export" command.  It is not applied to the Image in Aperture (unless you rename your Versions or your Masters).

  • How to update file name of SharePoint form library?

    HI All,
I have a Infopath form library and submitted as "Form-1". Once update and submit, the same form name should change as "Form-1.1" with out duplicating. How to achieve this, thanks in advance!

Hi Sam, check out the following link. It will get you started. You'll have to customize the way the file is named differently than shown, but you'll get the idea:

    Hi,
In SharePoint 2013, we can take use of REST API or Client Object Model to access the SharePoint objects like Form Library.
    SharePoint 2013 REST API
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn450841(v=office.15).aspx
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/fromthefield/archive/2013/09/05/working-with-sharepoint-list-data-odata-rest-and-javascript.aspx
    SharePoint 2013 Client Object Model

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj193041(v=office.15).aspx
With the retrieved file, we can then use XmlDocument object to parse it and get the values you want:

  • How to find out Forms Server version in pl/sql procedure

How can I get the version number and/or patchset of the Forms Server through which my pl/sql procedure has been called?
    Thanks,
    Attila

You can't do this through PL/SQL. PL/SQL runs on the database server whereas Forms Server runs on the web server which are two different environments (even when they are installed on the same physical machine).
I don't know about Web Forms, but there may be a Forms built-in that can give you the information you require. You could then pass it as a parameter to the PL/SQL procedure.
Alternatively you could write a Java stored procedure to somehow pick up the information from the OS.

  • Multiple versions of same InfoPath Template in Forms library

Using SP 2010 and InfoPath 2010.  When I create an IP template today, say with 20 fields and publish to a Forms library then my Forms library will use this template as the default template, all good.  6 months later I need to add a field and re-publish,
so any new forms will use the template with 21 fields, which is what we want.  But, I want my old forms to always display in their original version, I don't want to see 21 fields displayed for a form I saved 6 months ago.  This pattern will repeat,
next 6 months I add two more fields, and so on.  It is vitally important that the user see only what was in affect at the time they saved the form in the past, saved 20 fields, see 20 fields, when they click on an old saved form.  The analogy is
if I scan and upload an image of a Word document to a document library, and change my Word document with more content, I wouldn't expect my scanned image to change.  Silly analogy, but illustrative.
We may even want to delete a field instead of adding a field when we update the template.  But we would still want any old forms to display in their original state - no missing fields.
So what's the best way to continue to make changes to a template over time, deliver it to a Forms library, yet have the existing forms still open with their original layout, not with the latest template?
    Thanks,
    KevinHou

Got it solved, sorry.  But for anyone else wishing to do this:
    1. Publishing the form from InfoPath Designer, select SharePoint server, and "Site Content Type"
    2. Select "Create a new content type", and base the CT on "Form"
    3. Provide a name like "My IP Form CT ver 1"
    4. Specify the location of where to publish the template file, for now I just put it in Shared Documents.  You'd probably want a dedicated library just for this, set permissions, etc. so no one can mess with it.
    5. Click Next onward to Finish.  The content type is now in the Site Content gallery and available to add to a Forms library as a content type.
I then go to my Forms library and add this content type, make it the default, and hide "Form" CT.
When I need to make a new version, I update my template in IP, save it as version 2, and then walk through the Publish options again, don't do quick publish.  When I get to the relevant publish screens I select Create new content type again, base it
on "Forms" again, provide a new name "My IP Form CT ver 2", and publish to the Shared Documents library again.  Then I go to my Forms library, add this new content type "My IP Form CT ver 2" and make it the default, then
I hide "My IP Form CT ver 1" content type.  Now, both content types are still associated with the library, any new forms will use ver 2 because it is the only one not hidden and is set to default, yet any previously existing forms will continue
to use ver 1 and display using that content type (and of course the template used for that ver 1 content type, which is my ver 1 IP form!).  Cool, got what I need.

  • How to genetare reports(ssrs) with form library's data in sharepoint 2010

    Hi,
How to genetare reports (ssrs) with form library's data in sharepoint 2010.I am saving infopath(2010) xml form data in form library.I have 500 and more forms in the form library( more forms can come in future). How to generate reports from this xml data (i
want to make it automate)? Reports should get updated automatically when any changes made to data and if new form entered in the library.
Please suggest possible solutions.I can not go for code base solution.( somthing SSIS, BCS or web service ....etc or anything else will be fine)
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to generate SSRS report with form library in SharePoint 2010.
In order to use the data stored on the InfoPath form, you need to add the controls on the form to be columns in SharePoint(This is the OOTB way without code).
You can add the control during the publish process:
Then when you create the SSRS report using the form library as the data source, you can use the fields just as the fields created in SharePoint.
There is a tool called InfoPath DB in codeplex, you can have a look at it.
