How to abort a search that is running to long?

Hi,
is there a possibility to abort a search in CRM Webclient (7.0), when I recognise that my search options could be optimized?
I don't want to wait for the system-timeout and when I press ESC/Browser-Stopp-Butten Internet Explorer doesn't work anymore.
Oh, I just recognised that after pressing escape I have to wait for 3 seconds, then I can start a new search. Is this the way this should be done or is there another way to stop a search.

I think even if you hit ESC, the search continues except that you see the spinning wheel hanging.

From time to time, we have a need to identify all jobs that were running at a particular moment in time on a particular agent (we have about 800 agents)...eg "what was running ("Active") at 09:03:42 a.m. two days ago on agent XYZ?"
I've used other job schedulers, and have written queries to extract that info, but I thought before I work on one for Tidal that I would ask the community....how are you getting this info?

How do I clear the apps that are running? It used to be that I double click the home key and then press down on the app icon until the little red box appeared to close app. It doesn't work that way with the iOS7 update.

When you double tap the home button you should get little windows that you can scroll (left-right) through.. If you get that screen open.. just put your thumb on the app you want to kill, then swipe up towards the top of the phone.

How to invoke a process that is running in another Engine

I looked through the OBPM 10.3.1 docs, I found "Subflow Activity" and "Process Creation Activity" can invoke a process that is running in another Engine. But in the OBPM studio, I cannot find any properties of both activities to configure this function.

Hi Bill,
Brijesh is right. Although you cannot test it in Studio, there is a synchronous and an asynchronous way on Enterprise to create an instance in another process even though they are not in the same project.
1. For an asychronous (fire and forget) invocation of a subprocess (similar to the Process Creation activity), when you deploy to Enterprise you can use PBL to create an instance. Look at the Catalog's Fuego.Lib.ProcessInstance module and note the create() methods.
2. For a synchronous invocation of a subprocess (similar to the Subflow activity), you can create an instance in another process using the Dynamic Subflow property of the Subflow activity.

You can 'kill' your own long running jobs by doing the following.
Open a new SAP session.
In the new session, from the SAP R/3 screen, follow the menu path: Tools>>Administration
(new screen) Monitoring >>System monitoring>>User overview
Fastpath: /nsm04
Result: the "Overview of Users" screen appears. This is a list of the jobs currently running.
Find your username in the list and click on it
Click on the Sessions button .
Result: the Overview of Sessions screen appears.
Click on the End session button .

ps -ef | grep ora | grep pmonPort is for listener configuration and 1 listener can serve to multiple instances. You should check listener.ora file.

How to link a OCI app for running both 8i and 9i

I have an OCI application built on 9i and linked dynamically with libclntsh.so . When I run the program on system with installed 8i, library loader was looking for libclntsh.so.9.0, which oracle 8.1.7 does not have.
Does anyone know why the library loader looks for libclntsh.so.9.0 instead of the libclntsh.so which it is linked to?
Can anyone tell me how to build a application that will run on either 8i or 9i?

Three years later, same problem with different versions ;)
I need my application to run with Oracle9 and Oracle10.
I link on Solaris with Oracle9, and the executable points to libclntsh.so.9.0 instead of libclntsh.so.
# ldd myapp
libclntsh.so.9.0 => /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/lib32/libclntsh.so.9.0
As libclntsh.so.9.0 is not delivered with Oracle10, the application won't run unless a symbolic link from libclntsh.so.9.0 to libclntsh.so is made.
Is there a way of solwing this issue?
