How to access 2 itunes accounts on one computer?

My husband has an itunes account on his PC desktop at his office. I have my itunes account set up on my home MacBook. He wants to move his iTunes account to the house (my MacBook). Can we access two iTunes accounts from one computer? If so, How?

Yes. Sign out of one account, sign in with the other.

    A single computer can be authorized for multiple iTunes accounts but only one account can be signed into the store at a time.
    Frankly, you are better off with unique Windows User accounts for each user.

  • How do i move itunes account from one computer to another?

    I need to move my wife's itunes account from her PC to my Mac.  It will be the second itunes account on our mac.  She will long in as her own user on the mac.

    One way is to Drag and Drop your  Entire iTunes Folder   from your Old Computer, to an External Hard Drive...
    Then Drag and Drop it to your New Computer...

  • Totally confused on how to keep separate itunes accounts on one computer

    Our troubles started several years ago when we added in another iphone into the mix.  Currently, we have 2 iphones and 1 ipod sharing one macbook.  I thought that we each had our own Apple ID accounts set up and that I also had separate libraries set up on our Macbook (we each have different account names) but when ever my husband or I make a change to our itunes library it happens to both of them.  When I went through his phone, it seemed as though he had my ***@yahoo.com account as the one he was signed into under Settings/iTunes & App Store.  So I signed my Apple ID out and signed him in using his ****@me.com Apple ID but then it automatically reverts back to my ***@yahoo.com Apple ID.  We both use the same ****@yahoo.com email address for our primary email - is this part of the problem?
    Can someone please explain to me how to essentially start over and ensure that we have totally separate - non connected - Apple IDs/iTunes Libraries?
    I'm feeling like a newbie! gah!  Thanks a ton!

     huh??I have TC-605.You don't need to create a bootable USB flash drive.  You just have to follow the instructions. And read the README file.  Copy the unzipped/extracted BIOS files (P11.B3) that you just downloaded to a USB flash drive. (I always quick format the USB flash drive to fat32 before I copy the files to it, but not sure if that's necessary.)Open an admin command promptIf your flash drive has a drive letter of F you would typeF:cd winflash So it would look like this: F:\win>flash After its flashed, then you go in to BIOS settings and load defaults F9 and then save and exit F10. My instructions are abbreviated, so make sure you read the instructions (README) instead of following mine....in case I missed anything. If your computer came with P11.xx then you must use P11.xx.  You can't use P21 versions.The L versions are for Linux....not Windows. Edit: You can flash to P11.B3    if your current BIOS is P11.A4

    videoDVD is a delivery format, normally end of the of the road...
    but, you can convert dvds into something editable, you need 3rd party tools, your options are, in recommended order:
    * DVDxDV (free trial, 25$, Pro: 90$)
    * Apple mpeg2 plugin (20$) + Streamclip (free)
    * Cinematize >60$
    * Mpeg2Works >25$ + Apple plug-in
    * Toast6/7 allows converting to dv/insert dvd, hit apple-k
    * connect a miniDV Camcorder with analogue input to a DVD-player and transfer disk to tape/use as converter

  • How do I get my music from my account on old computer to new computer? And how do I have two seperate itunes accounts on one computer?

    I had my music on my itunes on my old computer (pc), and need to move it to my husband's computer. My husband and I both have iphones and want to keep using our seperate itunes accounts on one computer, as we both have our own media set up on our accounts. I had burned my music from the old computer onto discs and imported onto the new one...works in the library but I can't put them into playlists, which means I can't put the music on my iphone. As for using two seperate accounts on one computer, it was suggested to me to make another profile on windows (vista), and use the second account on that profile. I did that and have had such a frustrating time trying to get this to work. I don't know if I've done something wrong, but it's just headache after headache. Somehow my apps even ended up on my husband's account? Also, how can we share music between our profiles? It seems ridiculous that we should have to buy an album twice just because we have to different accounts. I would be willing to create a third joint account with my husband, but only if we can still have our own music, apps, etc, and can somehow transfer the music we have to this new account...if possible.  Suggestions please???? I'm so close to pulling out my hair over this!!!

    You'll need to copy the music currently on your iPod to your new PC and into iTunes first before you can sync it to the new iPod.

  • Synching 2 3Gs iPhones to one iTunes account on one computer

    I have a few questions regarding synching two 3Gs iPhones with one iTunes account on one computer.
    I had synched both phones (mine and my wifes) to our desktop computer but saw that apps were being placed on both of our phones and contacts were being added to both and duplicated.
    1. If I try to synch my wifes iPhone to a her laptop with a new itunes account and it asks about erasing the data, will it get rid of the photos and contacts? I have looked this issue up and no one really seems to know.
    2. If I try to synch both iPhones to the desktop with the original itunes how do I avoid the issues of transposing apps, contacts being added to both? Several answers out on the Net say to make two seperate accounts. Does that mean two seperate "iTunes" accounts? Or two seperate profiles on the desktop computer.
    The main reason I need to do this is because my wifes iPhone is about two or three firmware updates behind. I would like to update her firmware and back up all of her apps and contacts. I am backing up her photos to Shutterfly just in case, because if something happened to those I might not be around to see iPhone 5. hahaha j/k
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the discussions,
    1. If you manually backup your wife's phone before you sync for the first time to the laptop, you can save all data and settings of the phone and restore from that backup again after the initial sync.
    Here's how to backup manually:
    Set up the same iTunes account on the laptop, disable autosync in iTunes/Settings/Devices.
    Connect the phone, right click on it in the device list and choose "backup" iTunes will backup your phone without syncing.
    Transfer your purchases the same way, to copy apps and purchased media to the new library.
    When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
    Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.
    About backups and what's saved: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
    How to back up and restore: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
    How to download apps for free again: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    2. If you're syncing both phones on one computer, either create a second user account on your computer, log in and do the same manual backup process as described above, or, take the time to set up each phone individually, including the settings for calendars and contacts, which apps to sync, etc.
    iTunes will remember the settings for each phone and you'll only have to do this once.
    You can only use apps on different devices if you're using the same account you did at the time you bought them.

  • Is there any way to have 2 different itunes accounts on one computer?

    I am trying to find out if you can have two different itunes accounts on one computer.  My boyfriend and I both have the iphone 4 but we share a computer.  Is it  possible to have two accounts on one laptop? And if so, how do i do it?

    Hi, Angela,  Take a look here:
    How to use multiple iPods, iPads, or iPhones with one computer.
    That should help. If you are referring to iTunes Store accounts, yes, you can have up to five iTunes Store accounts on a single system.

    We have two iTunes accounts on one computer. Why is my music, apps, etc showing in my husbands account? Home sharing is NOT selected. This recently became an issue when we added additional devices. Now we keep getting each other's apps!

    He intentado creando nuevas cuentas y desinstalando iTunes y volviendolo a instalar.
    Favor de orientarme en la solucion adecuada para el asunto comentado anteriormente.
