How to access a infoset query

Hi
I am assigned to a user group P1 but how to use the tcode SQ02 AND SQ03
Whether to use TCODE SQ02 in first place or the other as i was unable to get in there To get into the infosetquery .

You can create an infoset from SQ02. If you need details on how to create an infoset, there are many postings in SDN, and you can check the sap help also. You have to assign this infoset to your usergroup, by selecting the query and clicking on the Role/User Group assignment or from SQ03. Make sure you are in the correct query area. Once the infoset is assigned to the user-group, you can run the query from SQ01.

How to map ECC Infoset Query to Crystal Report

Hi All,
I am using 25 standard SAP crystal reports which have been mapped on the top of ECC system. Some of reports are working well but some are not working due to unable to find query. The name of the report is Controlling Dashboard report and it has CO_OM_CA_20_Q1 query which I was unable to map on ECC using Crystal Report. I do not knw how to map ECC table infoset to Crystal report.
Can anybody assist me to get solution?

I am experiencing the same issue:
unable to get this infoset query CO_OM_CA_20_Q1 in Crystal Report which is made on the top of ECC
I followed the BI quick guide as well, I am on EPH 4 and I am able to see both the Query Infoset CO_OM_CA_20_Q1 and its related Infoset /SREP/CO_OM_CCA_20.
But unfortunately, it wouldn't let me update the connection approprietaly.
Is this something you can assist me with?

Infoset Query Transport

Hi All,
I have enhanced an ECC infoset query.From the data field I have added the new field in to a Field group.After transporting the infoset query in the Data field area the new field is getting reflected but the new field is not getting reflected under the Field Group area,Can anybody tell me how to transport an Infoset query,including the Field group?

Can you please let me know how did you resolve the problem?
We have a scenario where in we have to add 17 fields to infoset which we have done. But these fields are not getting reflected in the data source.
Moreover in Infoset field group, if you click on the newly added field. On the below area you will get info about that field. There is a button which displays field queries. When I click on it, it displays messsage as 'No queries found'.
My question is - how to add those queries to that field.
Can you please help?

I am trying to create generic data source in RSO2 by using Infoset Query Method.I would like to extract around 7 lakh records from it.
my query is: how about desiging an infoset query which has to pull around 7 lakh records once in a month?

Dear, it seems that you have changed the query in SQ02 and then just save it and not generated.
or may be after generation again clicked on SAVE button.
So untill unless you will not generate the query, it won't work.
Secondly, by chanegs in the query, i don't think it changes the name of the main program.

In SQ01 ,press shift+F7 then find your user group. then from infoset query tab ,select ur infoset.
and try to delete , I think, it should work.

Where exactly we will find this information in SAP BW.
I know that this information we can find in ST03. But where exactly we will find the query information along with DB information?

How to transport infoset query to Production serveR?

when i transport everything is transported to production server. when i run the transaction in production server it shows me the error saying . PROGRAM Does not exist .. how to resolve this..
can any one help me to transport my infoset query from step-to-step.

Well there is no button as such.
I hope you must have found the Transport button.
When you click it, it gives selection screen there you can find the redio buttons.
Export will create a transport request and Download will download it to local machine.
Let me know if it doesn't work. But you have to do more analysis as to how to go this way.

Nagarani - For debugging a infoset query, you have to create a query in SQ01 for the infoset which you are planning to debug. Once the query in transaction SQ01 is generated, Activate the same. Use the following path to generate program for created query from SQ01 QUERY--> MORE FUNCTIONS > GENERATE PROGRAM. Once the program is generated use the path QUERY>MORE FUNCTIONS --> DISPLAY REPORT NAME to get the report name generated. Copy the report name displayed.
While using the menu paths for generating program or displaying report name, make sure the query is selected.
In transaction SE38, give the report name and maintain break points whereever required in display mode and execute the report from se38.

>There top you will find Option GO TO click on Go To then you will get Global Properties -
>if you click on Global Properties -
>You will get another scree there if you click on External Program------->You will get underlying program for Infoset query in ECC.

Hi Preeti,
1. You can query the data using 'Listcube' transaction.
2. Instead of builing on tables, it sits on ODS (no need to worry about underlying tables).
3. Visible on the Bex 'info area' as like other infoproviders.
4. It generates additional key figure called 'Number of records' in the Bex. This will be useful for query.
5. No additional ABAP can be used. But in RSQ02, you can use piece of ABAP.
6. Queries created on data provider infoset can work like other queries including transport functionality.

How to include a table multiple times in InfoSet Query

Hi,
Is it possible to include a table more than once in an InfoSet Query, I created an InfoSet Query and Include Table A, then included Table B now i want to join Column 1 and 3 of Table A to be join with column1 of Table B, in other words, Table B is a Master data table, and Table A is a transaction data table, how this can be acheived.

You cannot achieve this.
Instead, compound the column 1 with column 3 info objects and create join with Table B.
This will result in same intended functionality.

How can I access to a query

I have not so much experience in WebDynPro but I must do something in it. Does anybody of you know, how I can acces to a BW query in in WebDynPro?
I have read in some books, but I have not found anything to do this.
